NaNoWriMo 2016

I finally broke 9k but I'm not gonna stop until I get closer to 12k. XD

Anyone have any links for word crawls? I need some more ideas besides Gilmore Girls, lmao. Someone give me some story ideas, please.

I finally broke 15k! This is the most I've written for any story, it's mind blowing.

Hai, I've entered NaNo my profile is Here and the story is called, Keep Me Guessing.

I've reach 10k words. 15k more until I reach my goal

I didn't reach 12k like I plan the other day. Instead, I took today off and last night, too, to take a small breather from writing. But I'm close to breaking 10k and while I'm settling down for bed (it's about 10 now), I'll work on the next chapter of Whispering Wings. I just have to remind myself that writing a 50k story isn't my goal, finishing a story is my true goal. My cousins have to go to school tomorrow so I'll definitely get some writing done and my aunt has to go to work how is everyone doing on their Nanowrimo?

After my dog died, my muse kind of died too.
Still, I'll continue on writing to my best abilities, been falling behind this last week.
If I won't make it, than I won't make it. I'll tackle it again next year.
Lets just see how far I'll come this time around.

This is my eighth year doing NaNoWriMo, I'm being a bit of a NaNo cheater and working on the same story from last year, however. It's titled "13 Seascape Lane." I have a small bit of it uploaded to Mibba so far (just the back page summary/teaser and the first chapter so far.) 13 Seascape Lane

I broke 10k finally! Now I can work on getting caught up. I finally found some inspiration to write!

i haven't written anything since last night. it's really difficult to write rn, but i'm going to try finishing up this chapter. here's hoping.

I'm not even sure how I feel about NaNo anymore. Certainly not as excited as I was when i started before. Yikes.

perhaps a break might be in order? i think it's early enough in the month where if you wanna test stepping back from it to breathe (and then coming back only if you want to) shouldn't be too bad!

nano is such a roller coaster for me lately, good christ. i got stuck at like 6k for the longest and got so discouraged by everyone blazing ahead and meeting goals and then, y'know, the election, which drained me of everything. but the funny thing is, i think the election was a great kick in the ass. i've been looking for distractions and alongside listening to my favorite playlists and hiding within some of my favorite old videos and games, i'm writing like hell all of a sudden. i think it helps that it's a story with a dark tone, which i can knock a bunch of words out for quite easily when i get to heavier scenes because i kinda just....get carried away. it's harder to write the even-numbered chapters because, right now, they're much lighter than the odd-numbered ones, but i'm getting there.

i may take a break to write a cute and fluffy oneshot though because why not go for a smile and some tooth-rotting fluff that isn't squeezed between a hot mess of a story? it can't hurt!

and to think, i was like thiiiiiiis close to quitting! i'm not thanking the bull that got me here, though. i'm good.

Thank you! I agree, taking a break and writing something else is a good idea. And the election definitely was a good distraction . How many words do you have now?

I might but I think the election is what got me thinking these thoughts. It's been a terrible few days, no lie. But maybe I can overcome it.

when trump was elected, i almost completely quit nano. my story is basically about the apocalypse caused by the US government, so it got too real. but i'm starting to get back into it because the end will be pretty hopeful, so i mean i can work up to it. if you write a fluffy one-shot, i'll read it! fluff is good. i'll also read your actual story though because your writing is

I forgot about the 'WriMo thread because I've been focused on other things. I have been writing, though. I'm at 20.3k right now, and hoping to break 21k by tonight.

Anyone have any story ideas that will get me to write? I'm so bored of the current stories I have, I just want to come up with something that hits a spark for me.
