NaNoWriMo 2016

I might not be able to write tonight, even though I really hate leaving one day with zero words, but there is too much right now for me to have the time. I may write about a thousand, but two thousand as usual might be too much.

I have so much homework, application essay, and a personal letter. Ugh.

How's everyone else doing?

EDIT: To be clear, I totally have the room to slack until Day 18. I'm just so picky about my word count this year.

so close to 40k. i'm hoping i can reach it before i go to bed, but i have a mc death coming up and i'm.not.ready.

Congratulations! :D I just hit 17k earlier (though that only includes the outline(. Without the outline, I still made it to 16k.

I just channeled all of my character's emotions in a death scene and I feel extremely inspired now.

i hit 50k! holy crap, i feel so great about it. i still have quite a lot to get down, so i'm going to keep chugging forward (i'm thinking it'll be around 80k when it's complete. maybe).

I checked my official word count, and apparently MS Word Online was off by 400 ish words. I'm so glad I wrote about 600 at midnight because if not, I'd be at negative word count for the day. Thankfully, after checking a couple of word count sites and the official NaNo counter, Google Docs seems to be completely accurate, so I'll just finish typing my story there.

I promised myself that I wouldn't start another story while working on Whispering Wings but apparently, a Hunchback of Notre Dame fanfic (based more off of the Disney movie then the book) was too good to pass up and let's not forget about a Joseph King of Dreams based fic too. Shit shit shit. At least with what I wrote for all three of the stories, I broke 20k. Lol.

Oh and I'm not going to post the Joseph based story since I'm not so sure about it, but I may post the Hunchback of Notre Dame fanfic since The Hunchback of Notre Dame is one of my favorite Disney movies of all times.

i hit 60k. this is the most i've ever written in a month and i'm just really proud of myself. i definitely didn't think i'd get to this point, holy crap. i still have 3 chapters and an epilogue to write, though.

I finally hit 40k, and now my daily word count goal is under 1k. What an achievment for me!

I'm nowhere near my target goal for nano, actually I am but my story is nowhere complete. Lol. It's fine though because working on three different stories right now is helping with keeping my ideas from becoming boring. And not to mention, this Hunchback of Notre Dame fanfic is getting me a bit out of my comfort zone.

I think it's safe to say I've failed this, completely. I still have my outline, though, and a chapter written. It will be completed. At some point. This millennium.

Same. I had one chapter done and then I completly gave up on NaNo since my story turned into a joke.

Ugh i feel you on that! I started school last week so I've literally had no time for nanowrimo. It's more like nanowhat at this point.

4,661 words left and I'm gonna try and finish NaNo today! I can't believe I've actually made it this far, even though my story is nowhere near complete.

EDIT: OH MY GOD, I DID IT. I BEAT NANO FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE!

Approximately 5000 words, three cans of Monster, and one pissed off employer later I managed to finish yesterday with 50,217 words.
