Once practice was over, Skylar focused on calming her body after the run. She made sure to do a cool down lap, just to make it easier and eventually moved to the benches so that she could change back into her regular shoes. After putting her stuff away, she glanced to River. "Are you heading back to the room?" she asked, wondering if he'd prefer to walk together if they were both heading that way. Then again, things might be awkward now that he knew that she was a girl.

River looked at her as he turned back into his normal shoes, "Yea i am." He said. He put his bag over his shoulder and waited for her. He walked with her, still thinking about their situation. He walked into the room with her, then got his stuff to shower. "I'm gonna go shower." He said. He walked out and went to take a shower. He came back after getting dressed then started on his work.

Skylar fell silent as she waited in the room for him. There'd been little conversation between them since that morning and it felt like the first day again. To be honest, she wasn't entirely fond of that. They'd become friends since that first day and now it felt like they were just acquaintances again. When he came back, she looked at him and idly thought about starting a conversation, but he started on his work and she figured it wouldn't be a good idea to interrupt him.

River felt her staring at him, then turned to looked at her, "What's wrong?" He asked. He could tell something was up. He frowned when she started to say how she thought he wasn't comfortable anymore. "Look it's not you. I just...it's weird to have to keep this a secret. I'm going to though because you are my friend no matter what gender you are." He assured her. "And i told you a lot of personal sex stuff that i shouldn't share with a woman so it's odd." He said, shaking his head.

Skylar was fairly relieved to hear his words, though she wasn't sure if that made things better or worse. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't be making you keep this secret," she said after a moment, though she dropped her gaze and picked at imaginary fluff on her shirt. "I just... Really want to stay here." She chewed on her lip but didn't dare raise her gaze. "Besides, what does it matter if you shared sexual stuff with me? I'm still the same person, just... Not a guy."

River looked at her, "Yea it does matter. If my mother knew i talked like that in front of woman she would beat me." He said, laughing as he shook his head. He turned his chair to face her, "I will keep your secret you just have to make sure you do better at it as well. " He said. "Like don't be going to the shower alone. If you want i can stand out side of it and keep anyone from going in." He said.

"What? Why? So you can sneak a peak?" Skylar asked with a snort, though she glanced over at him with a small frown. "You're not getting another look, by the way. Ever. And I don't need a chaperone, River. You followed me, creeper." She offered a small, teasing smile, but shrugged and dropped her gaze again. "Besides, it's not like your mom would ever know you talked like that around me. And, it doesn't bother me. We're not fucking, so why would I care about your sex stories?"

River looked at her, "I mean stand outside, but whatever you can try to sneak on your own." He said. He shook her head at her comment, "It's just guy talk okay?" He said, laughing. He went back to doing his homework. He was glad that they were back to normal though.

"But, who knows? You might be tempted to get another look," Skylar shot back as she stuck her tongue out at her. "Considering your sex stories, I know how perverted you are," she joked lightly, though she fell silent after that, since it looked like River was trying to focus on his homework again.

River smirked at her comments, then finished up his homework. When he finished he got ready for bed and laid down. He looked over at her, "Goodnight Skylar." He said. He turned off his lamp, closing his eyes. He slowly fell asleep, sleeping quietly.

Skylar had gone to take a shower after an hour or two. When she got back, she fell asleep, though she woke from a nightmare. Glancing over, she idly wondered if it was overstepping boundaries but she climbed from her bed anyways and moved over to shake him gently. "River?" she called quietly, hoping to at least get him to stir.

River opened his eyes, groaning as he rubbed them, "What's wrong?" He asked, sitting up. He looked at her, trying to figure out what was going on. He was surprised to see that she didn't have her breasts taped down. Then again she had nothing to hide from him now.

Skylar blinked but chewed on her lip and glanced away. "Sorry, I just had a nightmare, so..." she trailed off and shrugged, feeling vulnerable with admitting something so... well, stupid. "Look, I know it's probably a really weird request, but can I sleep with you? Just for tonight?" she asked quietly.

River stared at her, "No it would have been weird if you were a guy." He said, chuckling. He scooted over and let her laid down next to him. He closed his eyes, feeling her body against his. River let his hand rest over her body on top of the blankets as they snuggled in his small bed.

Skylar was relieved to hear his words and she climbed onto the bed, getting under the blankets. She was fairly glad that he didn't seem weirded out by it and she closed her eyes. For a moment, she was surprised to feel his hand on her, but she didn't mind too much and she found herself burying her face against him before she drifted off to sleep. It was surprisingly easy and she couldn't help but wonder how she was this comfortable with somebody that she could fall asleep so quickly after a horrible nightmare.

River woke up the next morning hearing his alarm go off. He looked down, seeing Skylar was still there. He got up carefully and turned his alarm off. He got dressed for the day and looked at her. "Skylar wake up we have class." He said.

Skylar whined quietly at the mention of it and shifted to bury her face against River's pillow. Surprisingly, it smelled fairly nice and she wondered if it was the pillow's natural scent or if it was how River smelled. Pushing the thought away, she peaked around the pillow at him. "Already?" she asked with a small pout.

River nodded, "Yes already." He said, laughing. River started to put his books in his bag. "You might want to get ready unless you are being a girl today." He said, looking back at her as she stood up. River smiled, she was very attractive and part of him was glad that she was not a dude.

Skylar pouted to his words but she shifted to sit up and stretched her arms out above her, though it caused her shirt to ride up a bit, showing some of her skin. She didn't care too much about it and she moved to stand up. "Fine, I'll step into the closet to tape down my boobs, in that case," she drawled out before she gathered her clothes and moved into the closet, closing the door behind her, though she pulled on the drawstring to turn on the light before she started getting ready. "Don't try to peak through the cracks, either," she joked through the door.

River laughed, "Oh yea because you turning into a man is what i want to see." He said, laughing. River relaxed in his desk then looked up as Skylar walked out, "Alright we need to get going." He said, walking out with her. He walked to the class they had together and sat down.
