"You're a saint, I don't know what I'd do without you," he laughed a little as he looked at him then went behind his desk, "My day is less than great, which doesn't sound bad but I'll explain later," the whole idea about dating a this mans daughter freaked him out. He'd never been set up by someone else's parents before, his parents? Sure but never by his boss, it seemed odd and like he had his own purposes he was filling and not hers but he needed his job. So he'd show up for dinner, and hopefully she'd hate him. He had been so focused on his career he didn't even think much about dating, but he'd met a great girl a few nights ago - he hoped to hear back from her soon. He lifted his eyes up and he swore under his breath, his day couldn't get any worse.
"Good morning, I hope you've all done at least some of your readings for the week or else today is going to be really confusing," he said as he rubbed the back of his neck. "and skim reading won't even begin to prepare you, so I wouldn't try,"
She snorted a little as she shook her head then crossed her legs as she heard several people rushing to open their books - probably freshman taking a course they clearly weren't prepared for. Hayden had been over prepared the day she started university, maybe it was because her father used to be a professor at one point - or that he'd instilled diligent work ethic into her over the years. Whatever it was it made her feel as if she was flying through the course work at times, which is when she took up her fifth course.
