Something Changed

Adrian walked up the stairs leading up to Chanyeols apartment, holding burgers from that place he loved so much. She knocked on the door, stepping back slightly when a man easily three times her size answered it. His smirk said earfuls, and she figured this was what Chanyeol meant.

"I'm here to see Chanyeol," She said, looking and silently hoping he wouldn't give her a hard time.

"The kid? Why, see me instead," Another man said from the couch in the living room.

She looked around, hoping she would see him, but she guess he hadn't noticed she was there yet. One of the guys inched closer, moving to touch her and she glared, stepping away from him and closer to the other one. She felt the one from the couch reach up to pull her down and she turned, figuring the only way to get them to stop would be to scare them. She leaned down and put her knee to his crotch, reaching into her bra and pulling out her knife which she flicked open and put to his neck, her other foot stepping on his hand. She pulled out her switchblade and threw it, it landing mere centimeters from the other guys face.

"You touch me, you die, and I won't get even a second of jail time for it, so go ahead and try me." She said seriously, her face stony. She stood up and picked up the food, seeing Chanyeol in the doorway of one of the rooms. "Hey, I brought food," She smiled a little, picking up the food and pulling the knife from the wall by the first man. "Were you sleeping?"

Hayden walked back into the apartment and began to take the laundry out of the dryer so she could fold it then put it away. She looked at the clock noticing that it was already half past four so she'd need to shower and get ready for the night if she didn't want to be late. She picked out the coral colored dress and laid it out on her bed before going into the bathroom to start the shower - she pulled out her hair curler and the things she'd need to get ready. Once she finished showering she called Hyungwoo, "Hey," she smiled as she walked began to put on her primer.

"My sister said she's running a little behind at a meeting for work so we should just go and order once we get there," she said to him as she wet her lips.

He stood there looked at her then rubbed the back of his neck,"Yeah, I was tired," he said sheepishly as he walked over to her, "Come on," he said motioning for her to come to his room , "We can eat thewre,"

She smiled a little and followed him into the room, closing the door behind her and setting the food down. She took the knives and closed them back up, putting them back into her bra and sighing a bit. She walked over to his bed and sat down, bringing the food and pulling them out of the bag. "I got the bison beef burger you like," She smiled and pulled her bag closer. "And the action movies you said you wanted to watch before."

He smiled a little as he answered the phone. "Okay, I should be there soon, in maybe half an hour?" He said to her as he got his things to get in his car.

"Alright, just let yourself in when you get here I'm still getting ready," she said to him as she chewed on the inside of her cheek.

He smiled a little as he looked at her, "You spoil me," he whined a little as he looked at her, "I'm gonna end up getting fat,"

She smiled a little and pulled out her own burger. "And then I'll still bring you burgers, someone has to make you smile," She said to him, pulling her own burger out. She took a bite and got her drink, sighing in content.

He smiled a little. "I dug out my suit, I hope it's okay," He said to her. He was worried she wouldn't approve and he really liked Hayden.

"I'm sure you'll look incredibly handsome, I can't wait to see you myself," she grinned into the phone as she applied her primer and foundation, "I'm wearing a new dress I bought today, so you've neverseen it,"

He smiled a little as he got the movies ready then turned on the tv, "We can start with this one," he said to her.

"I'm sure you'll look beautiful in it," He smiled a little. "I just need to pick something up and I'll be there soon," He said as he drove.

She nodded a little as she ate, leaning against his pillows. "I brought you the brushes too, and some of the acrylic paints, oil too, I wasn't sure which you preferred."

"Alright, drive safe," she said to him, "See you soon," she said into the phone then hung up and sighed - she liked him so much her sister just had to like him. He was perfect, even if she didn't like him she wouldnt let it ruin their relationship.

He nodded,"Cool, we can fiddle with those later," he said to her smiling a little as he thought about it. "Maybe I can paint on you again?" he offered.

"Sure, you know I won't object," She smiled a little. "Where? My arm again?" She asked as she ate.

He sighed and kept driving, stopping at the florist where he bought two bouquets of flowers, one of Hayden's favorites and another he thought was pretty. He drove to the house and came in, looking around for a place to put the vase.

She walked out of the bathroom once she was done with her makeup and whistled when she saw him, "Dang," she murmured as she came up behind him and grinned. "You look so good," she laughed a little.

He smiled and shrugged,"Sure," he said to her smiling a little as he ate his food, "I saw some posts online of boyfriends painting on their girlfriends backs,"

She looked at him for a second and then looked at her sandwich. Sure she liked him, she would be lying if she said she didn't. He hadn't said anything or even kissed her yet, but she shrugged it off, she didn't mind showing her back, she just was a bit shaken by the fact that he wanted to do something he saw other couples doing. "Sure, when I'm done eating I'll take off my sweater." She smiled a little.

He smiled a little and turned pink. "Andnyou look beautiful," He said, getting the vase of flowers. "I bought flowers, for you and I thought it might be nice to bring something for your sister?" He asked softly.

"Aw," she murmured as she looked at him, then at the flowers, "They're beautiful," she said and tip toed to kiss him gently. "She'll like them, they're perfect," she told him as she sighed a little. "Are you nervous at all?" she asked.

He nodded a little and smiled,"Cool, it gives me more space to work with too - Ive been thinking... what if I become a tattoo artist?" he asked her.

"That would be really cool, but you have to promise to do me first. And my tattoos are free," She smiled a little. "I also think you should make art on the side and sell it, you could make a lot of money with your talent."

He nodded a little, resting his hands on her shoulders. He pressed a kiss to her forehead and sighed. "But you'll be there," He sighed a little.

She nodded,"Mhm, I will be and it'll go just fine," she said to him smiling a little as she rubbed his chest a little as she looked up at him, "I don't know how anyone could not like you, you're so sweet"

He laughed a little as he looked at her then took a bite of his burger, "I could," he said to her, "Maybe designing art for specific people or murals for companies or schools," he said thinking bigger than he ever had before.

She nodded a little as she smiled. "You could find a place, it could be a tattoo parlor and your studio, you could schedule tattoos because once people found out you would have a massive following." She smiled a little. "You paint when you want, do tattoos when you want. Then you're your own boss."

He smiled a little as he leaned his forehead against hers. "Not nearly as sweet as you are to me," He said softly. "Are you almost ready to go?"

She nodded,"Yep, I'm ready just got to put my shoes on," she said to him as she snuck in a gentle kiss then sighed, "Okay, I'll be right out," she said to him as she walked to her bedroom to grab her flats then slid them on. "All set,"

He nodded a little then smiled,"sounds like a good idea," he admitted, "Maybe I can get in touch with a shop and see if they'd hire me on as an artist? like just for drawings until I finish up the stuff to be a tattooist,"

She smiled a little as she finished her food, setting her box aside. "I'm so proud of you," She smiled at him, putting her drink to the side. "Want me to lay on my stomach?" She asked him,

He smiled as he looked at her, she was stunning he had to thank his niece next time he saw her. Because he probably never could have asked her out on his own. "Ready? I parked out front, have you eaten at this place before?"

She smiled,"Yea, I've eaten here a couple times before," she admitted as she looked at him, "it's a really great italian place, they have the best fettuccine," Hayden grabbed her purse and laced her fingers through his own, "Come on,"

He smiled then nodded,"Yeah, sure," he said to her as he got out the paints she'd brought over and some of his own that he had stashed away.

She nodded a little and turned her back to him, pulling off her sweater and setting it next to her on the bed. She unsnapped her bra and wrapped it up in her sweater, her arm coming up to cover her chest. Her face was on fire and she laughed a little in embarrassment before moving to lay on her stomach. "Amazing you got me out of my bra without even trying," She joked, attempting to ease her embarrassment. It felt strange to be shirtless around him even though she didn't know how he felt about her.

"Alfredo? I'll order that," He smiled a little as he walked out to his car and opened the door for her. He was worried but he hoped that everything went well. "How far is it?"

"Not too far, its about twenty minutes away," she said to him as she buckled in, "I'll give you directions,"

He grinned then sighed,"One of my many talents," he said as he looked at her nodding, "It's all in the looks," he joked.
