Office Romance

ONE WEEK LATER...

Ellie was laying in the bed, a hand on her hand while the other was holding a book. Jethro had went to work early that morning and she was expecting him to be home any second now. Things were kind of slow for the day in the office, so she knew that he would be home at a normal time. Looking at the time, the young blonde shifted in the bed. It had been a really interesting day for her alone though. She was feeling slightly off, but didn't think or want to call her husband, unless she had to.

Tim looked at the clock. It was as if time was slowly creeping by. He was more than ready to go home and knew that Johanna was more than ready to go home as well. He had text Ellie that day to see how she was doing, because asking Gibbs was the last thing he wanted to do. This whole week, Tim could tell that Gibbs was a little on edge and had a feeling it had something to do with Ellie and the baby. He was glad to know that the little blonde was doing good though. "Hey, you almost ready to go home?" He asked Johanna. "And what did you want to do for dinner?"

Jethro took and looked at the clock sighing to himself. Looking over at his team he just decided to call it early. "Go ahead and leave everyone." Jethro told them seeing everyone gathering their things up. Getting his things he walked out and headed down to the parking garage. Getting down there he took and got in his Charger and headed home. Forty-five minutes later he arrived as he pulled into the garage. Going inside the home he took and saw Ellie in the bed once he got in the bedroom. "Hey baby." Jethro smiled at her.

Hearing her uncle tell them to call it a day. Seeing him rush out of there. She smiled slowly getting up as she saw the small bump already forming. Looking at Tim she smiled, "I am not sure." Johanna told him honestly. "Whatever you want will be ok." She smiled sweetly grabbing her bag and things. Walking over to her husband she smiled walking out with him.

Ellie had just closed her book and laying on her side when she heard the bedroom door open. She smiled, turning to see her husband walking through the door. "Hey Honey." She smiled as she laid her head back down on the pillow. She was feeling alright, just feeling off. "How was your day?" She asked. "Anything exciting?" She asked as she laid on her back. She waited for him to move a little closer.

Tim turned off his computer, grabbed his things, and then looked to his wife. "Lets go." He said with joy when Gibbs said that they could go home early. "I don't know. Do you feel like cooking or just going out somewhere?" He asked as they stepped onto the elevator. "Have you heard anything from Ellie how has she is really doing? I text her Ellie and said she was fine, but I don't buy it."

"Long boring day." Jethro smiled. "Are you feeling ok?" Jethro questioned his wife walking over and sitting beside of her.

"She did text me a lot today." Johanna smiled. "Said she was fine." Johanna fibbed not telling the full truth to what Ellie had told her earlier. "How about out? Then we can go home and enjoy each other and relax." Johanna smiled.

"Yep." Ellie said, looking up to her husband. "Feeling 100% fine." She smiled, putting a hand on the side of her round bump. "Wanna say hello to your son?" She asked as she felt the baby move. She winced a little, but remained calm.

"Just fine, huh?" Tim wasn't buying it at all. He walked out onto the parking garage, heading towards his car. "Where would you like to go out and eat?" He asked.

Jethro smiled leaning in and talking to her stomach. "Hey little man. It's daddy. I can't wait to meet you." Jethro told her stomach rubbing it softly and smiling.

"Oh it doesn't matter." Johanna smiled at her husband. "And yes, just fine Timothy." Johanna told him.

Ellie smiled as she watched her husband interact with this little one. She thought it was one of the cutest things to watch. "You could give the little man a kiss." She giggled as she lifted up her shirt, revealing the swollen bump. "I don't think I could get any bigger though."

"Well I am going to let you and the baby decide." HE said, looking to her.

"You are perfect the way you are." Jethro smiled at her his wife. "It shouldn't be much longer." Jethro told her.

Johanna smiled, "Our favorite Italian place?" Johanna smiled at Tim.

Ellie nodded as she laid on her side. "Well thank you." She smiled up to her husband, reaching out to place a hand on his leg. "It shouldn't be more longer, gosh, I hope not." She looked to him as she lean back. She placed a hand on his thigh.

Tim looked to her and smiled. "I like that." He smiled. "We can do that."

Jethro smiled at her, "Hopefully." Jethro lent over kissing her lips deeply. He held her close smiling at her. "What time is Tim and Johanna arriving for dinner?" Jethro questioned her.

Johanna glanced over looking at Tim, "Good." Johanna whispered smiling at her husband.

Ellie smiled, sitting up a little in bed. "I think they'll be over at like 5:30 pm." She said as she sat up, rubbing her bump. "Kid, can you not kick me in the ribs. Thanks." She breathed, rubbing up near her ribs. "Ouch."

"So what time do you want go over to your Uncles?" He asked, driving to the place. He parked the car and then walked away to help her out.

Jethro smiled at her, "He's going to be an awesome soccer player." Jethro smiled at her. "Alright. I'll begin working dinner soon." Jethro told her.

"Maybe sixish?" Johanna smiled at him.

LATER THAT NIGHT...

Ellie had got up and was getting ready for Johanna and Tim to come over. She had slipped on a baby pink dress with black flats. She put make up on and curled her hair. She then waddled down to the stairs, wanting to check on Jethro. She smiled, watching as he moved around the kitchen. "Ooh." She blushed as she bite her bottom lip.

Tim had just finished putting on his shoes. He looked to his watch then the direction of their bedroom. "Baby, are you ready?" He asked. "Your Uncle and Aunt are waiting on you." HE teased her.

Jethro glanced back, "Look at how gorgeous you look." Jethro smiled at his wife. "Look at that cute little blush." Jethro teased smiling at her.

"Timothy!" Johanna shouted from the bedroom. "I am trying. Everything is so tight." Johanna sighed tossing the pants onto the bed. Walking over to the closet she got a sweater dress, that was grey. Slipping into it she grabbed her flat, black knee high boots slipping into them with her black leggings she had on. Sighing she walked out of the bedroom, "I think I am going to have to shop for some clothes." She frowned walking to her husband.

Ellie looked to him and blushed even more. "Jethro, stop." She giggled as she covered her face. She shook her head a little, then moved a couple of inches closer to her husband. "You can your wife gorgeous, but your wife here was admiring her handsome husband." She laughed lightly, pulling him to her so that she could kiss him. "Alright, lets start on dinner handsome. I'm here to help. What are we going to make? Or, should I ask, what have you already started making?"

Tim bit the inside of his cheek so that he wouldn't laugh. He thought it was cute how she was already started to fill out some. He said nothing just looked over her with full admiration. She was beautiful in his eyes and knowing that they had a little one coming was even more beautiful. "Alright honey. Well we can do that soon." He noted as he got up from the couch, walking over to her. He gently pulled her into his arms and kissed her the top of her head. 'Are you ready now?"

"I figured you'd want some pasta. So I decided to make some Chicken Alfredo Pasta. With garlic knots and bread sticks." Jethro smiled at his wife. "We could do the salad together." Jethro smiled at his wife.

"You were going to laugh at me." Johanna felt the tears forming in her eyes. Soon they were escaping her eyes as she smacked his chest. "Why would you laugh at me?" She cried out wiping her eyes.

Ellie smiled. "Okay, we can do the salad together." She whispered as she put a hand on her husband's arm. "Garlic Knots and Bread Sticks though, I love it." She laughed lightly, pulling the things out to make the salad. She waddled back over to the counter, placing the salad ingredients on the counter.

"I'm not laughing at you." Tim said looking to her. He held her in his arms, kissing the top of her head. "Babe, I am sorry. I wasn't laughing at you at all." He reassured her.

Jethro smiled kissing her cheek. He began chopping the lettuce up as he tossed it into the glass salad bowl. Taking in his wife's view, he smiled admiring his wife. He thought to himself how lucky he truly was.

Johanna looked at him as she wiped her eyes, "Really?" Johanna whispered looking at him.

Ellie was in the middle of getting things ready when she felt like someone watching her. Turning her head, Ellie blushed as she caught her husband looking at her, admiring her. She just shook her head, giggling a little and winked at him. She chopped the toppings to put in the salad. "Here you go baby." She said as she took the bowls over to him to put in the salad.

Tim nodded, wiping her eyes. "Yes, really." He said, kissing her softly on the lips.

Jethro smiled at her placing them in the salad. Finishing up he took and put them in the bowl. Smiling at her he took and put it in the fridge. Taking and doing what he needed he finished up and began sitting the table.

Johanna smiled at her husband, "Let's go before we're late." Johanna whispered to Tim.
