Nova watched the movie and laughed at some of the funny parts. She looked at him, seeing he was getting to his sleepy part of his drunken night. "Did you want to go lay down?" She asked. "We can put the movie in back there." She suggested.

Travis nodded, standing up. He got a little lightheaded but he steadied himself before he fell over. He followed after her as they went back to the bed. He went straight for the side he always went to at her place. He watched as she set the movie up as he got fixed under the covers. "Nova, hurry up. I want to cuddle," he whined lightly.

Nova laughed softly at her friend from her bathroom as she got ready for bed. “Oh you will survive.” She teased him. She got dressed for bed then walked out. “Alright let’s finish our movie.” She said, plugging her cell phone in to charge. Nova go in bed with him and snuggled up to him, watching the movie. She loved when he held her like this. For a little bit she got to act like they were more than just best friends.

"About time," Travis grumbled, wrapping his arms around her. He moved his head into the crook of her neck. He held her tightly close to him. He breathed in and caught a hint of her perfume. "I love being like this," he mumbled as the movie was started. He did love the feel of her body pressed against his and having her in his arms. His drunken state had him acting out on what he fantasized about when he was sober. He pulled the blankets closer around them, trying not to push his luck to far. Even though he was drunk, there was always something telling to hold him off a little bit.

Nova smiled as he snuggled up to her, “You are just the best as cuddling.” She teased him. She looked at the tv and watched the movie til it ended. She turned the tv off then snuggled against him. She closed her eyes and slowly started to fall asleep. “Goodnight Travis.” She whispered. She slowly started to fall asleep in his arms as she ran her fingers over his back.

"Goodnight, Nova," Travis muttered back. He yawned and slowly fell asleep snuggled up to Nova. He was calmed by her fingers running over on his back. It was what put him asleep. It was a dreamless sleep. And he only woke up when the sun was shinning obnoxiously in his face. He opened his eyes and noticed that he was cuddled up to Nova. He smiled lightly glad that she pressed up to her. He didn't want to move or even be awake so he moved to where he was still cuddled up to Nova but didn't have the sun in his face.

Nova made a cute noise in her sleep when felt Travis snuggled closer. Suddenly, she was awoken by her phone ringing. She groaned as she reached her hand out, her face in her pillow as she grabbed it. She answered it, "Hello?" She muttered. She held the phone away when her sister squealed on the other side, "dear god." she said. Nova and her sister were complete opposites. She sighed when her sister told.her to open her door. "Fine fine." she said, hanging up and dropping her phone on the table. she got out of bed and walked to the door, opening. Once again her sister squealed with excitement. Novq glared, "Okay stop. Im pretty sure dogs can hear you." She said, rubbing her eyes.

Her sister, Luna, smiled, "Im sorry im just so excited to show you." She said, holding out her hand with a giant rock on it. "Im getting married." She said smiling.

Nova stared at her, "You woke me up at six thirty in the morning to tell me you are starting an unnecessary life of servitude?" she asked.

Luna dropped her hand, "The correct response would be congratulations." she said laughing.

Nova sighed, "Whatever, good job." She said, patting her sister on the arm. Nova walked to the kitchen to get water.

Luna followed her, "You cant just go to bars and rock concerts and sleep with random people your whole life." she said to her older sister.

Nova looked at her, "Oh but i can. They even did a study that says i will live longer than yiu future wifey." She muttered as she looked for stuff for breakfast. She really needed to go to the door. "Travis!" She called, smiling when her came out of the hallway, "Want to go get breakfast? I have nothing." she said as she shut the fridge.

Luna sighed as she yelled for Travis, "So what you guys fuck when you cant bring home whores?" She asked, looking between the two. She looked at Travis, "I'm getting married." She said happily.

Nova looked at her sister, "Are you going to tag along? You minus annoying engaged you?" She asked, watching as her sister nodded. Where Nova was more rocker chick and sarcastic, Luna was bright and  bubbly.

Travis looked at Luna and tried not to groan. As much as he loved Nova, he couldn't really stand her sister. She was much to hyper and goody-two-shoes in his point of view with an amazing ability of shaming you if you weren't perfect. He hated how she assumed that he was fucking Nova. Even though his subconscious wanted that, he wouldn't act on it. And maybe he was just didn't like her because she reminded him too much of his cousin with the same bright and bubbly in the morning.

He looked at Nova and nodded at the suggestion of going out to eat. Maybe he can force her to the grocery store afterwards. He went over and leaned against the counter. "Where are we going to?" Travis asked, and as much as he wanted it to just be Nova and him, he would deal with Luna. "And before you tell me to pick, I don't care as long as the coffee is good. That is my one rule."

Nova smiled, "How about our favorite diner?" She suggested. "I have to go get dressed." She said. She walked to her room and pulled on a pair of jeans and a tshirt. Nova walked out, "Alright, lets go." She said as she grabbed her keys. Nova walked out of the apartment then headed to the diner. She sat down and looked over the menu. When the waitress walked over, Nova looked at her. "Can i have some orange juice please." She said before looking back at her menu.

Travis ordered a coffee as he looked at the menu trying to decide what he wanted. He so got the same thing two times in a row. He glanced at Nova next to him, trying to figure out if she was actually excited to see her sister. He knew that deep down she cared for her family, but he knew from experience that just because you love your family means that you want to see them or be around them for too long. "Do you know what you are going to get?" he asked.

Nova looked at Travis, "I think i'm going to get the biscuits and gravy actually." she said, smiling. "What are you going to get?" She asked him. She looked over at her sister who was playing on her phone. Nova knew that Luna really wasnt into being around her too long. Her parents had brainwashed her into thinking that Nova was a terrible person.

Travis looked through the list and said, "Probably the garden omelet." He looked at her, noticing that she was becoming lost in her own thoughts. It wasn't hard to guess that it was about her sister. "Hey, get out of you head, babe," he whispered in her ear. He looked over for a second to see Luna watching them with curiosity evident in her eyes. He knew what it was about though. Luna had always thought that Travis was stringing Nova along, showing up whenever he wanted and getting what he wanted from her. It was just the fact that Travis could never even dream of using her.

Nova smiled when he mentioned her getting out of her head. “I’m fine.” She said, looking over at him. She looked at Luna who was staring at them, “What?” She asked. She frowned when Luna rolled her eyes.

Luna sighed, “I’m just curious about how long you are going to let this guy use you.” She said.

Nova frowned at her sister. That was one of the things she hated about her family. They always said awful things without thinking about the other person’s feeling. “What the fuck is your problem?” She said, glaring at her sister. “If you are going to be an asshole like your parents maybe you should leave.” She said, narrowing her eyes.

Travis glanced at Luna as she huffed at Nova. "I'm not using her, Luna," he said, looking at her in the eye. He knew that as much as Luna could be nice, she could be just as judgemental. Travis usually tried to keep his mouth shut as much as he could. "I would never dream of doing that to her. She is the best person in my life, so why would I want to hurt her?" Travis asked, hoping to get his point across.

Luna frowned, "Really because you stay with her when you cant find someone to put your dick in and you use her to take care of your alcoholism." She said crossing her arms.

Nova frowned, "Luna would you stop. This is why i dont come around you people. You are awful." She said. She quit talking when their food came. She took a bite of her biscuits and gravy. "These are so good." She said. Nova had a habit of closing out bad situations when things happened. Its like her brain just shut them off.

Travis started to dig into his omelet, ignoring the glare from Luna. He glanced over at Nova and reached over and gave her knee a squeeze. He leaned over and whispered in her ear, "Just ignore her and don't worry about it. Excuse me, but she's not the best." He kissed her temple which earned him another glare from her sister.

"You know a picture will last longer, Luna," Travis teased, wishing Nova had a more understanding sister than she did. He honestly hated that he felt like he was the cause of some issues between Nova and Luna. It also didn't help that he was one that wanted to aggravate Luna every time she was around.

Nova sighed at the bickering. She looked up as Luna stood up, "Im just going to go." Luna said  throwing money on the table. Nova frowned as her sister stormed out. "God she is so annoying." She said, looking over at Travis, "Im sorry she acted that way." she said. She hated that her family treated Travis that way.

Travis waved her off. "I should apologize for egging her own. She just gets the worst of me sometimes," he said, trying his best to apologize to her. He knew that he was trying to stay on good terms with her family as much as he could. It was another reason why he held off a little from getting with Nova as much as he wanted to. He didn't want her family to shun her for being with him as more than just as a friend.

Nova looked at him, "No dont worry about it. Im so tired of them acting like i don't fit into their lives." She said. She took a bite of her food. "This is why i only hang out with you." She muttered. She took a sip of her orange juice and looked at him. "You are really all i have Travis." She told him.

Travis looked at her sadly. "Well, you know that I'm always here for you, babe," he said. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders pulling her close into her side. He kissed the top of her head and wished that he could even form the words in his head about how he truly cared about her. Travis didn't know when these feelings popped up about her, but he hadn't been sleeping around since he realized he had them for her specifically. He may have had a lot of partners in his life, but he wasn't one to be unfaithful to those that he truly cared about.
