He told her, he knew that with the news of the pregnancy and dealing with Matt she needed his support right now. And his company wouldn't collapse if some paper work didn't get finished tonight.
Lexie looked up at Matt, furrowing her brow as he started to strike up a conversation with her, about Brian of all people. "Yeah?" She asked surprised they'd even known each other, let alone were friends. "So why did you become a teacher instead of going into business with him?" She asked, she wondered if him and Brian had a falling out. Or maybe they just had different passions, it happened. But most men went where the money and honeys were. Brian seemed to have it made while Matt was living from paycheck to paycheck. And that's another reason why she felt so bad about telling him about the baby. She knew that he'd do anything for her and the baby, it would crush him financially.
