Two AM finally rolled around, which meant it was time for the remaining guests at Tattletale's to leave because the bar was closing. "You don't gotta go home, but you gotta get the hell out of here!" Piper heard Alec, the house DJ, yell out on the mic from her location in the back room. She sighed before going back to counting the wad of cash that was in her hand. It'd been a relatively slow night, seeing as it was a Wednesday. But still, the blonde made relatively good money. Piper always did.

"How much did you make tonight?" Piper's thoughts were interrupted by her friend/coworker Nikki, who had just left the stage. Piper gave her the typical one second gesture, finishing her count before turning her attention back to Nikki. "About three hundred. Not so bad for a Wednesday." Piper tossed her money into her purse before standing up, zipping her sweatshirt. It was about time for her to head home, she was beyond exhausted.

Chris was pretty sure at this point in his life that his blood was eighty five percent coffee. He could drink the stuff any time of the day or night, and it never effected him. Which explained why he was sitting there at two thirty in the morning, nursing a black pumpkin flavored coffee while pouring over his lyric book. It was something he typically did when he couldn't sleep, or there wasn't anything on television that interested him. It was always fun to look back on old ideas, stuff that he had written previously and see how much he'd grown since then.

Vanessa headed to the back room where she worked as a stripper. She saw Piper and smiled, "hey Pip," she said as she stat down across from her friend, "how did you do?" she asked her. She began counting her own money, glad to be finally done for the nigh and that she had tomorrow off. Most of the girls were starting to leave already and when Piper and Vanessa worked, they were usually the last two out.

Once Vanessa finished counting her money, making a little over $3000, sine it was a slow night, she tossed her money in her purse before getting up and pulling her sweatshirt on. "Did you want to hang out tomorrow?" She asked Piper.

Angelo was having trouble sleeping and sighed as he rolled over. He finally got out of bed and headed into the kitchen where his best friend Chris was. "Hey, why are you still awake?" He asked him as he got a bottle of water and sat down across from Chris, seeing him looking in is lyric book.

"Not too bad, I did pretty decent for a Wednesday night." Piper mused, making sure she grabbed her keys as well. The last thing she wanted to do was wake her boyfriend up to let her in because she forgot her keys at work. Pulling teeth was easier than waking Ang up once he was already asleep. At the mention of hanging out tomorrow, Piper paused to run over her schedule in her mind. "Hmm.. you know what, that sounds like a good idea. I need to go get my toes done, you should come with!"

"Cause my body hates me today, that's why." Chris laughed gently, shutting the book. He sipped the remainder off his coffee before looking up at the clock, realizing what time it was and that their other roommate/Angelo's girlfriend would be home soon. "Can you text Piper and see if she'll bring something home to eat? We still have to go grocery shopping."

"Sure! Just text me when you want to go and I'll be there. I'll see you then, Piper." Vanessa said before grabbing her keys and walking out to her car. She was so ready to just go home and shower and get to bed.

"Sure." Angelo said and pulled his phone out. hey babe, can you pick something up to eat for us? We're both awake so don't worry about being quiet. He sent the text and put his phone down. "So, Piper and I were talking about her friend Vanessa...you seen her right?" Angelo asked. Piper had suggested that they hook Vanessa and Chris up since they were both lonely.

Piper looked down at her phone, raising a brow when she saw that Angelo texted her. Huh. Normally he was passed out by now. Sure, no problem! I'll be home in like half an hour then. She tossed her phone into her purse before heading out to her car, locking it once she climbed inside. Piper pulled out of the club parking lot, in search of a restaurant that was open.

Chris raised a brow, racking his brain to see if he remembered the person that Angelo was talking about. "The tiny girl with the black hair that she works with? Yeah, I think I remember her coming over here a time or two." He spoke, shrugging slightly. Vanessa was cute, but Chris really didn't know much about her aside from her profession.

I made it home, after stopping at Whataburger and getting myself something to eat. I parked and grabbed my stuff before going inside and locking the house up. I lived alone so I always made sure my house was locked up before going upstairs. I changed into something comfy and sat down to eat.

"Well, Piper was saying how she thinks maybe you and Vanessa should go for coffee or something...she thinks you two would be cute together." Angelo explained to his best friend as they sat there.

Piper eventually found a Taco Bell that was still open, ordering everyone's usual plus a Baja Blast freeze for herself. Once she got the food, she continued the drive home. After about ten minutes, she pulled into the driveway. Piper gathered up her purse, keys, phone, and the bag of food before locking her car and heading into the house.

Chris raised a brow. "Getting fixed up by my friend's girlfriend? Isn't that a little high school?" Not that Chris really minded. It had just been a long time since he'd been on a date, bordering on about a year or so.

[I'm so sorry I haven't replied to this! I haven't forgotten nor abandoned it, I've just had a lot of shit hit me at once, made a blog explaining it all, but I'll have more time this weekend to reply.]

Angelo laughed at Chris' question. "I mean, I guess, if you look at it that way." He said and looked up as Piper came in. "I smell tacos." He grinned and got up, going to greet his girlfriend. "Hi baby, how was your shift?" He asked, helping her with the food and once it was safely on the table, he leaned down to give her a kiss. "I was trying to talk to Chris about Vanessa." He said softly, knowing Chris couldn't hear them.

"Hey, you." Piper spoke, standing on her tip toes to give Angelo a kiss. "It was decent, pretty okay crowd for a Wednesday." She spoke, starting to ration out everyone's food. At the mention of their two best friends, Piper raised an eyebrow. "And how did that go?" The blonde asked, unwrapping her burrito and taking a bite. "I still need to talk to Ness, but I imagine it'll go about the same way."

"How do you think it went?" Angelo said. "I guess he's okay with it but I don't know...maybe if Nessa came and talked to him in person, it might make things easier." Angelo said, opening his taco and taking a bite. "Are you two hanging out tomorrow?" he asked his girlfriend.

"Yeah, she and I are gonna go get pedicures and other girly shit. This is the first time in like a month we've both had the same day off." Piper spoke, taking another bite from her food. "I'm probably gonna bring her back here for like a girl's night, so we'll see how that goes." She yawned slightly before turning her attention back to the food. "We should probably bring Chris his tacos before he flips."

Angelo smiled, "well maybe when you bring her back here, Chris can have a chance to speak with her." He said and laughed. "I guess we should, don't wanna starve him." He said, following her back into the kitchen.

Piper handed Chris his bag of food before flopping down in her seat. "Dinner's ready, kids. I don't work tomorrow though, so we might end up having real food. Don't hold your breath, though." She teased before taking a sip of her baja blast. The blonde liked to cook, especially when they had friends over.

Angelo chuckled as Piper made the comment about having actual food for dinner tomorrow. "You mean we can't order in wings or something?" He teased his girlfriend before taking a sip of his drink.

Piper rolled her eyes. "I was gonna make them myself and use my Oma's secret barbecue sauce recipe, but if you want BDubs for the forty fifth time this week then be my guest!" She teased, gently shoving Chris cause he was the only one in reach. "You two will eat what I make and like it. We all know I only cook like three or four times a year."

Angelo chuckled. "Fine, fine, babe. We were just messing anyways, right Chris?" He said, looking at his best friend. He finished the rest of his burrito and looked at the time. "I guess we better be heading to bed soon." Seeing it was almost 4am.

"Yeah, I don't know about you losers but I'm beyond exhausted." Piper spoke, finishing up the rest of her drink. She tossed it in the garbage before heading down the hall toward the bedroom she shared with Angelo, looking through the clean laundry she'd put away that morning for a set of pajamas to wear.
