"I'd love to see you beat him over the head with one of our nine inch heels." Vanessa giggled. She sighed then. "I guess you're right though." She said. "Anyways, lets go get coffee, I'm craving one." She smiled.

Angelo sighed. "Trust me, I know it's not easy. There are times when Piper tells me about the kind of dudes that try to get lap dances from her and it makes me angry but I try to stay calm about it because beating the shit out of one of those scumbags isn't worth the jail time." He said.

"I almost did! It was quite the sight." Piper laughed, slinging her purse over her shoulder. "Alright, let's roll. I'm buying coffee." It was a tradition between the two of them when they went out, they took turns paying for each other's coffee, lunch or dinner.

Chris ran a hand through his hair and exhaled a sign. Angelo was one hundred percent right, which was something Chris hated admitting. "So, Vanessa is one of like the what? Three people on earth that think I'm a decent human being?" He joked as he changed the subject.

"Yay!" Vanessa said as she followed Piper out to her car. She stared out the window as they drove to Starbucks and when they got there and Piper parked, she got out.

"Probably the only one. I'm not a big fan of you." Angelo teased and started laughing when Chris glared at him. "I'm kidding, dude, yeah you're probably right...she's one of three people." He said.

Piper followed her friend into the coffee shop, which miraculously wasn't all that busy. She waited patiently in line before ordering a cool lime refresher with lemonade and raspberry for herself. "Alright, kid. Don't get too expensive on me now." She joked.

Chris rolled his eyes, flipping Ang the bird. "You might not like me, but I'm pretty sure your mom called me the son she never had-- so, at least there's that." He joked.

Vanessa giggled, "damn." She said. She got an iced cinnamon roll frappe and looked at Piper, "see I'm not too expensive." She teased her.

Angelo laughed. "I'll give you credit for that one because my mom does love the fuck out of you, no idea why, but she probably did say something like that." He said.

"This time." Piper teased back, gently bumping her friend's hip before moving down the line to where they would receive their drinks.

"Because I'm adorable. That's why." Chris teased before continuing his walk down the hallway to the kitchen, in desperate need of something to eat.

"Whatever," Vanessa giggled, "we'll see how much you end up spending on Angelo at lunch." She teased her friend as they got their coffees. "Wanna go sit out on the patio?" Vanessa asked her.

Angelo laughed and followed after him, "I don't think that's it. It must be your perfectly drawn on eyebrows." He chuckled. He grabbed himself a bowl and a box of cereal before going to the fridge for the milk.

Piper rolled her eyes. "In my defense, it's not my fault that Ang is particular about what he eats, and of course he has to get the most expensive shit on the menu." She laughed, following Vanessa out to the patio before taking a sip of her drink.

"My eyebrows are the envy and adoration of many, okay. Don't hate." Chris jokingly flipped his hair at Angelo before grabbing the last pop tart out of the box, chucking the empty object into the trashcan.

Vanessa laughed. "What a picky eater." She said, sipping her coffee. "I was thinking about texting Chris, what do you think?" She asked her.

Angelo laughed. "What the fuck ever." He said. He ate his bowl of cereal and then got up. "Do you want to come to the shop with me?" He asked him.

"Do it, why not? Worst thing that could happen is he doesn't read your message, and you could just ask him about it when we get back to the house." Piper shrugged, sipping her coffee again.

"You know what? Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. I need to get out of this house, anyway." Chris spoke, grabbing his phone and making sure it was in his pocket.

Vanessa smiled. "True. Then you can beat him again if he gets smart with me." She laughed as she pulled her phone out and went to her messages. She found Chris' name and opened the text message. hey :) she sent before putting her phone down.

Angelo smirked. "Piper is supposed to bring me lunch later so I can text her and ask her to bring you something too." He said as he made sure he had everything and headed for the front door.

"Trust me, I will. I have a pair of ten inch platforms by the door that I am ready and willing to use if he decides to be a jackass." Piper spoke, and it was true. It didn't matter to her that Chris was Angelo's best friend, as well as hers. If he so much as disrespected Vanessa in the slightest, he was getting a shoe to the face.

"Aww, how cute." Chris teased, following Angelo out the door. He heard his phone ding and pulled it out of his pocket, raising a brow when he saw that Vanessa had texted him. Hey, you c: He texted back before putting his phone back in his pocket, and following Ang to the car.

Vanessa giggled and looked down at her phone as she got the text from Chris. "I'm surprised he actually texted me back." She laughed as she sipped her coffee. are you going to be at the studio with Ange when we bring him some lunch? she sent to him.

Angelo flipped him off. "Fuck you." He laughed as he got in his car and started it up. He saw him on his phone and smirked. "Is Vanessa texting you already?" He teased him.

"He must know that he was risking a stiletto to the face." Piper smirked, finishing up her drink before tossing it in the nearby garbage can.

Chris rolled his eyes. "Maybe she is, maybe she isn't." He spoke before turning his attention back to the device in his hands. Yeah! I am, actually!

Vanessa laughed. "Most definitely." She said and finished her drink off before throwing it away. As she followed Piper back to her car, her phone went off again. She smiled. do you want us to bring you something to eat too? she sent.

Angelo smirked. "I'm assuming it is." He said as he drove to his tattoo parlor. Once he was there, he parked and got out, waiting for Chris before he locked up his car.

"You know how fucking cool it is to see you happy like this?" Piper asked, unlocking the car. "Even though it's over Chris." She teased, giving her friend a wink to show that she was kidding.

Chris followed Ang into the shop. "That assumption would be correct. Whatever Piper's saying to her must be working." He teased. Yeah! Piper knows what I like, I pretty much eat anything lol

Vanessa rolled her eyes. "Shut up." She laughed and nudged her best friend. She got into the car and looked at Chris' text. sounds good c: she sent to him.

Angelo chuckled. "Must be." He said as he unlocked the shop and went inside with Chris right behind him.

Piper stuck her tongue out before starting the car, heading toward their nail salon. "Let's get our toes done first. I'm overdue for a pedi, and the boys can wait." She joked.

Chris rolled his eyes before taking his normal spot behind the reception counter. "She's like Doctor fuckin' Phil, I swear to god."

"Hell yeah!" Vanessa said and slid her phone back into her purse. She was glad Chris was actually talking to her, even though she'd still like to see Piper kick his ass.

Angelo chuckled. "Right?" He said as he began setting up for his first scheduled appointment.

Piper began the drive to her normal nail salon, humming along with the radio. She had a feeling in her gut that today was gonna be a great-- she couldn't explain why, but she knew.

Chris pulled out his sketchbook that he kept at the shop, flipping to an empty page. He began working on a random design, looking up every so often to see if Angelo's appointment had arrived.
