Angelo gasped, "I help out!" He said, pretending to be hurt as he pouted then kissed her lips.

"I've been told I hit harder than her." Vanessa laughed. She made fake gagging noises at Angelo and Piper. "Get a room!"

Piper rolled her eyes when she pulled away from this kiss. "This is my house, kiddo. They're all my rooms." She stuck her tongue out.

"Now you see what I deal with every day? So cute, it makes me sick." Chris joked before going to check on the wings.

"I assume you don't deal with it that much, I take you for someone who stays in their room all day writing lyrics or something." Vanessa teased Chris.

Angelo smirked and sat down at the table while he watched Piper move around the kitchen.

Piper grabbed some plates out of the cupboard and set them on the kitchen table before turning off the stove. "Alright, food's ready." She then set about making her own plate and grabbing a little bottle of gatorade out of the fridge.

"I do surface every once in awhile, believe it or not." Chris joked, joining the line to grab some dinner. He grabbed some chicken and some tater tots before taking his place at the table.

Angelo smiled and grabbed a plate and loaded up on wings and tots. He grabbed a soda from the fridge and grabbed one for Chris too before sitting down.

Vanessa also got a little bit of food and grabbed another bottle of water before sitting down. "I don't know how you two can eat so much and not gain a pound." She said, noticing how the boys had more food then her and Piper.

"Seriously, it pisses me off. These two assholes take turns eating my leftovers while I'm at work, but they're still skinny as hell. I call bullshit." Piper laughed before taking a bite from her chicken wings.

Chris shrugged. "Hey, what can I say. Some of us are more blessed than others." He joked.

Vanessa rolled her eyes, "whatever Chris." She laughed as she took a bite of her chicken wing.

Angelo just smirked as Piper glared at Chris. "Id stop while you're ahead dude." He chuckled as he dipped his chicken wing into some ranch dressing.

Piper shook her head. "You might be skinnier than me, but you still throw like a girl. So, I'm gonna just take that win." She teased.

"That's why I don't go bowling with you anymore. You make fun of me every time. Seriously, Ness. She's so rude." Chris joked.

(I was thinking after this we could skip to the weekend where Chris stands Vanessa up lol)

Angelo chuckled, "damn, Pip, laying on the burns tonight." He teased his girlfriend.

Vanessa giggled, "maybe you're just a really bad bowler, Chris." She said.

Piper had just rolled into the driveway. She had an early shift at Tattletale's that day, and since Angelo was at the shop, and Chris was supposed to be out with Nessa, she expected to have the house to herself. So imagine her surprise when she saw Chris' car in the driveway. "What the fuck?" Piper mumbled to herself. Just so you know I'm probably gonna murder Chris. The blonde texted her boyfriend before heading into the house.

Angelo looked at his phone as he got the text from Piper, chuckling softly. Why, what'd he do now? he sent back to her, still chuckling as he shook his head.

Vanessa had waited for over an hour, it was going on two hours now and Chris still hadn't shown. She had tried calling and texting him but her calls went to voicemail and her texts were ignored. She felt like she wanted to cry but she couldn't, not in public. She finally left the restaurant and drove home, tears streaming down her face the whole time.

His car is still here. He stood up Vanessa. He better fucking be dying of sickness or he's getting a knife to the throat. Fair warning. Prepare bail money. Piper fired off that text to Angelo before texting Vanessa. I'm so sorry. I'll call you in about fifteen minutes. I have to commit murder. I love you. xoxo She shoved her phone in her pocket before bursting into the house and stomping down the hall, pounding on Chris' bedroom door.

Chris knew this was going to happen. He had every intention of going out with Vanessa that day, but when he woke up and started to get ready he just-- he couldn't, for some reason. So he climbed back into bed and fell asleep only to wake up a few hours later to Piper banging on the door like the house was on fire. "Piper, I don't wanna deal with your bitching right now, so can you shut the fuck up for like five seconds? I get it, I'm a terrible person, blah blah blah. Just leave me the hell alone."

Angelo sighed as he read the text. Easy killer. I'm on the way home, let me talk to him before you go on a killing spree. he sent to her. He was done with his last client and cleaned up his mess before telling the other tattooist he was heading home.

Vanessa looked at the text. Dont bother. I'm going to take a nap.. she sent to Piper. She changed out of her dress and kicked her heels off once she was in her room. Changing into her yoga pants and a tshirt, she crawled under her covers, burying her face into her pillow.

Then I'm gonna come take a nap with you. I can't be in this house right now. You need me. I'll be there in fifteen. At Chris' words, it took everything in Piper to not rip the door off the hinges and beat his ass. "You know what, Chris? Fuck you. I'm done. I'm not dealing with this. You wanna die alone when there's a girl literally right under your nose, who for some inexplicable reason is head over heels in love with you? All because you're too stubborn to go out with her? I'm done. If you weren't Angelo's best friend I would throw you out right now." With one last kick to the door, Piper headed back down the hall and grabbed her purse from where she dropped it. Babe, I'm going to go visit Vanessa. Talk to Christopher. He practically fucking screamed at me through the door, and I can't be in the same house as him right now because I will beat him to shreds. She finished up the text before hopping in her car and heading toward Vanessa's.

Chris bit his lip, clenching his fists as he listened to what Piper was screaming at him through the door. What hurt the most was that Piper was one hundred percent fucking right. He was going to end up spending the rest of his life alone, all because he was too fucking stubborn to work on his internal issues. He sighed in relief when he heard Piper leave. Maybe if he kept sleeping, this problem would go away and the whole day would end up being a dream.

Angelo sighed as he looked at the text. Okay, be careful and I'll see you tonight. I love you. he sent to Piper before starting the drive home. When he got home, he went inside and upstairs to Chris' room. "Chris, you awake?" He asked, knocking on his bedroom door.

Vanessa looked at the text before getting up and going downstairs to unlock the door. Doors unlocked, just let yourself in she went back to Piper before going back up to her room.

Piper read Angelo's text at a stoplight, making a mental note to respond to it when she got to Vanessa's place. A sigh left her lips and she tried to calm herself down. She reached Vanessa's place a few minutes later, parking next to her car and heading inside. Piper locked the door behind her before kicking off her shoes, jogging up the stairs and nudging open Vanessa's bedroom door.

"If you're going to scream at me, too, go right ahead." Chris spoke. He was just starting to drift off when he heard Angelo come in. Great.

Vanessa looked up. "Hey, you didn't have to come over, really." She said softly, wiping some more tears away.

"No, I was hoping to talk to you without yelling." Angelo said as he opened the door and stuck his head in.

"Yes, I did. Hush." Piper spoke, sitting on the edge of Vanessa's bed. She then laid down, looking over at her friend. "I'm sorry."

Chris sighed, realizing that there was gonna be no way to get rid of Angelo. "Fine." He spoke, sitting up.

Vanessa looked at her. "I waited for him for two hours...he ignored my texts and my calls.." she said, feeling more tears prick her eyes. "I'm so stupid.."

Angelo walked in and sat down beside him. "So, what happened?" He asked him.

"You're not stupid. If you're stupid, then I'm stupid, too. I genuinely thought this time was about to be different." Piper sighed gently.

"I don't know, man... I was getting ready to go and I just looked myself in the mirror-- and I couldn't do it. I just couldn't." Chris exhaled.
