"I think you would know if you were hurting me, Matt" I said to him, I carefully leaned down and kissed his lips. I was not planning on having sex tonight. Not until I was feeling better and my wounds were healed up for the most part. I pulled away after a moment and stared down at him. "What is the process like?" I asked softly. "Turning into a demon I mean, is it painful?" I wanted to know what was going to happen to me. I wanted to mentally prepare myself.

Annalise
"Whe n do you have to do it?" I asked "turn me into a demon?" I honestly wasn't ready to be a demon. I didn't really have a choice in the matter. His father didn't give us one. I bit down on my lip, looking down at him. "I'm scared," I said softly. It was true. I was terrified. I didn't want to be a demon. "Are demons immortal?" I asked softly. I didn't really know anything about them.

"I don't want to get you in trouble Matt," I said softly, biting my lip. I ran one of my fingers over one of the many tattoos on his chest, staring at them. "The last thing we wanna do is provoke your father, I'd rather not watch you die and become his new little toy." I said softly. It was true. While I didn't want to marry Matt, I had feelings for him. I didn't want to see him die. I didn't want to watch his father murder him because he didn't obey him.

Annalise
I didn't want to move off of him, so I carefully shifted my position to where I was laying on top of him with my head on his chest as I listened to his heartbeat. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep, after I managed to get comfortable.

Annalise
I could feel the pain in my body, It wasn't as bad as what it had been yesterday, but it was still enough to make me not want to move. I slowly opened my eyes, looking over to see Matt still laying asleep, I bit my lip and slowly climbed out of bed. I was starving, and I figured he would be to whenever he woke up, so I decided I was going to attempt to make us breakfast.

Annalise
I looked over at him. "Probably worse than what I look," I spoke, "Do you like eggs?" I asked, pouring him a cup of coffee before limping over and handing it to him. I then slowly made my way back over to the stove, it was so hard for me not to cry. It was almost impossible to make breakfast because of how hard it was, but I was determined. I knew Matt would most likely offer to help. I didn't want it, even though I knew I needed it.

"I can do it," I said like a stubborn five year old. I walked over to the fridge and reached for the eggs that were on the top shelf, wincing whenever I had to stand on my tippy toes to get them. It hurt. I wasn't going to lie. I wanted to be able to do this for Matt. I wanted to cook him breakfast as a thank you for saving me the other night. Even if he did torture me the day after.

I honestly wasn't sure if I could do it or not. I finally got the eggs out of the fridge and looked down to see blood oozing through his shirt that I had on. "I can't," I said in a defeated tone. I could feel the tears in my eyes. I turned my back to hi. So that he didn't see me cry. I put the eggs on the counter and began to make my way toward the bathroom. So I could clean up.

"I wish there was some way that I could make him pay," I said softly. I bit my lip to keep myself from crying out in pain whenever he pulled off the old bandages. "This isn't fair. For him to be able to control us like that. I wish there was something we could do to make that bastard pay, but I don't even think it's possible to kill the Devil." I said quietly. "Does he dictate everything you do?" I asked him curiously.

I looked at him. He definetly looked healthier today than what he did yesterday. "Better," I said softly, looking at the ground. I bit my lip lightly and stared at my hands as he put the first aid kit away.
