Emily also got wine. “So glad to be getting out of the house for a while.” She smiled. They really needed this girl time.

“Over dinner, can you believe that?” Craig said as he looked at Max. “What did you and Emily fight about?”

Meghan nodded her head, sipping her Moscato. "Me, too. I mean I love Craig but it's nice to see other faces every once in awhile." She whispered.

"Dinner? What the hell?" Max shook his head, running a hand through his hair. "We went out, some fucker kept staring at her... ti go so bad that I actually hit her when we got home. I can't believe that I did that-- that's not me." He sighed.

Emily nodded, “for real.” She said and noticed two very cute guys looking at them. “It seems we’ve attracted the attention of the opposite sex yet again.” She whispered to Meghan.

Even Craig was in shock. “Woah, you’re right, that’s not you.” He said. He had never actually hit Meghan but he has put his hands on her and not so gently either.

Meghan looked over at the guys before looking back down at her wine. "Damn these good looks of ours," she teased.

Max nodded his head. "I know-- I felt so fucking guilty I gave her my card and told her and Meghan to have a good time tonight. I don't know what came over me."

“Uh oh they’re coming over.” Emily said as the two boys headed their way. “Good evening ladies.” The dark haired one said.

“Yeah I gave Meghan mine too. I hope they don’t go too crazy.” Craig sighed. “It was probably a bad idea doing that.” He admitted.

Meghan shook her head, glancing over at the two gentleman before back down at her glass. "Hello," she spoke before taking another sip.

Max picked up his controller, turning it on. "It probably was, but oh well. I'm surprised Meg actually took your card. She never does."

"What are two beautiful ladies doing here all alone?" The other male asked. "Just enjoying some drinks." Emily said, sipping her drink.

"Yeah, I just hope she doesn't go too wild." Craig said, going back to the main menu so Max could join. "I have cash on me though so if you want to order a pizza, we can."

"Just havin' a night out without our boyfriends," Meghan spoke, not even looking up. She was remembering Craig's stern words from earlier.

"Same here-- maybe in a little bit, though." Max spoke, adding himself to the game. "Pizza does actually sound pretty good."

“Boyfriends huh? I don’t see any boyfriends around here, I think you two are just playing hard to get.” One of the boys said. “No, we really do have boyfriends.” Emily said.

Craig nodded. “Let’s play this round and the. I’ll order some pizza.” He said as he started the game.

"I don't know if you're deaf, but I said a night out WITHOUT our boyfriends." Meghan spoke, giving the men a disgusted look. "Now can you just make yourselves useful and get the hell out of my sight?"

Max nodded his head affirmatively as he started to play. "Sounds good to me. I only ate a little bit before I left."

“What a bitch.” The guy said before walking off with his friend. Emily giggled. “Good one Meghan.” She said.

Craig nodded and once they were finished, he grabbed his phone to order them a cheese pizza.

Meghan shook her head. “It fucking pisses me off when people can’t take no for an answer.” She finished her wine.

“Get some pineapple on my half!” Max called, looking at his phone. having fun with Meghan, babe? He texted Emily.

“For real.” Emily said and looked st her phone as it vibrated. “Max just texted, you think I should tell him about the idiots hitting on us?” She asked. Yeah :) she went back.

Craig got pineapples on one half of the pizza and ordered some breadsticks too. “It’ll be here in forty five minutes or so.”

Meghan vehemently shook her head. If Emily told Max, Max would relay the information to Craig, and Meghan would really be in for it when she returned home. "Nah, let's not worry them about it." She spoke.

Max nodded his head. "I'll throw you some cash when it gets here, I think I have about twenty bucks on me."

Emily nodded. She knew Meghan was right. She was glad those guys had taken the hint but she could see them glaring at the two of them every now and then.

“Don’t worry about it, I got it.” Craig told him. “You can buy next time.” Craig said.

"Maybe we should go see our movie now," Meghan whispered, pulling Craig's credit card out of her purse.

Max nodded his head. "Alright, sounds like a plan to me." he spoke before unpausing the game.

Emily nodded, "agreed." She said as she followed her friend. She kept looking behind them to see if those guys were still staring but they were gone now. "I hope they don't follow us.." She whispered to Meghan.

Craig paused the game halfway through when he heard the doorbell ring. He jumped up and grabbed his wallet before going to the door to get the pizza. He came back a moment later, sitting the pizza on the table. "Dinner is served." He joked.

Meghan pulled her pepper spray out of her purse, just in case. "Same here... that's the last thing I need." She mumbled as they headed to the car.

"Well done, Chef Craig." Max spoke, gratefully opening the pizza box and taking a slice.

Emily nodded as she stayed close to Meghan. Every little footstep or noise she heard made her turn around to make sure those guys weren’t following them.

Craig chuckled as he began to eat his pizza. “What time do you think the girls will be home?”

Meghan hit the unlock button on the key fob, letting Emily get in before jumping in and locking the car right away. "Let's take the back way, in case they decide to follow us."

"I'm not sure. Emily said they'd be gone about three hours or so." Max spoke before sipping his drink.
