You Make Me Do Bad Things. [closed]

Zoey got dressed as she knew tonight was going to be a long night. She hoped it was going to be good but you never knew. She smiled as she saw her phone light up. She grabbed her phone and headed outside locking the door before getting into the car. Hearing James' words she blinked before smiling. "Thank you." She told him getting her seat belt on before asking, "Where is the party anyways?" She chuckled. She'd been to parties before she had always found them boring, probably because her friends normally ditched her for cute boys or something along those lines.

Taven knocked on Meilani's door and looked at her as she opened it, "Wow." He murmured when he saw her and said, "You look gorgeous." He smiled at her. "Yes." He offered his arms before walking with her to his car opening the door. He got into the car starting it. "We're going to meet James and Zoey at the party." He let her know before chuckling. "I don't really like them that much either." He winked at her smiling before starting to drive towards the destination.

James looked at her, "It is at our friend, Ryan's house." He said. He knew it was actually not going to be a party filled with criminals. He would never take Zoey to one of those parties. He started driving, "It should be decent. He was able to get a local band to play for his party." He explained. He was excited to see the music more than anything. He also was glad he was getting to hang out with Zoey. He was liking her more and more lately.

Meilani looked at him, "Then why are we going to this party when we could be doing something else more fun?" She teased him. She relaxed as he drove to the party. Meilani got out of the car with him, walking with him as he led her over to James's car. She bit her bottom lip lightly, taking his hand, lacing her fingers with his. She loved the way his hand seemed to fit perfectly with hers. Meilani smiled as they stood there waiting for James and Zoey. She had only talked to Zoey a few times at school.

Zoey raised an eyebrow and said, "Oh, so not someone from school. Well, that means I don't have to worry about people I don't like being there. Now there's just a 50/50 chance of it." She laughed looking out the window her laugh having filled the spaceous area of the vehicle. She heard him and said, "That sounds cool. I don't think I've ever seen a live band." She hummed thinking about it and shrugged knowing she still had time. When they got ther she saw Meilani and James and wiggled her eyebrows at James when Meilani wasn't looking seeing them holding hands. "Nice!" She mouthed towards him before looking at Meilani again. "You got roped into this too?" She asked her a grin on her face while she pushed her glasses up her green eyes shining mischievously.

Taven laughed and siad, "It's not anyone from school and it's a buddy of Mine and James'." He explained. "There's supposed to be live music and such like that." he smiled at her. "I hope you'll enjoy it." He told her as he got there getting out of the car. He felt a warmth spread through his hand and looked down finding her hand in his and smiled squeexing gently before seeing James and Zoey arrive. He shook his head ignoring Zoey. He heard her comment and scoffed before looking back at James. He raised an eyebrow at him.

James looked at her, shaking his head when she looked at Taven. "Hey this is going to be fun." He said, chuckling as he walked with them. He was hoping the girls would enjoy themselves. Though he was sure Taven and him would have to come up with something more their speed after tonight. James found a good place to stand to see the band then looked at Zoey, "You want something to drink?" He asked. He wasn't even sure if she drank. He didn't care if she did or not. He didn't drink too often, but sometimes he would get drunk with Taven while they played video games or something.

Meilani smiled as she felt him hold her hand. She listened to Zoey, "Yea pretty much." She said, laughing softly. She walked with them to the house, then stayed close with Taven. She stood with him when James mentioned drinks. She had never drank before and she didn't plan to. She was just hoping to spend some time with Taven and see the band. She was a fan of rock music, but she didn't listen to it all the time because her dad didn't approve. Meilani looked at Zoey once the guys disappeared to get drinks. "Do you come to these things often?" She asked the other girl. She didn't know much about her.

Zoey smiled before laughing hearing James and said, "I hope so, otherwise you owe me Jamesy." She said giving him a smile before looking back at Meilani and laughed, "We are the real victims here." She teased figuring she might as well try to be friends with Meilani. She didn't seem like a snob. She sat down with them and popped her neck as she looked around leaning on the table. "No, I don't really like the taste to be honest. I know it's an "acquired" taste or some bullshit." She laughed, "I'll take a water though." She said before turning to Meilani when the guys went off. "Not really. Normally doing volley ball practice or homework. You?" She asked a friendly smile on her face.

Taven smiled gently and listened to the girls rolling his eyes shaking his own head meeting James' eyes glad to see that his friend had been having fun recently. He went in with the girls sitting down at the table and looked at Meilani, "Do you want a drink? Doesn't have to be alcohol." He told her a smile on his face. He himself might get a beer and a water or something. He didn't get drunk often at all, only with James which may or may not sound weird. He didn't like being a public drunk at all. He went off with James and said, "How did you manage to convince Zoey to come with you again?" He grinned.

James looked at Taven, "Well i apolgized and she decided to come along. I assume it also helped that Meilani came along. You guys seem prettu close." He said as he got his drink and Zoey's. He returned to the girls, handing her the drink.

Meilani looked at her, shaking her head. "I have never been to a party. My dad would be pissed. I only came because he is out of town." She said. She looked over as the guys came back, taking her water from Taven. "Thank you." She said, smiling at him.

Zoey smiled and blinked hearing her and nodded, "I can understand that. Props to you." She said giving her a sweet smile. "Happy first party." She laughed before turning and smiled at James taking the drink. "Thanks." She sipped on it as she looked over the balcony area and hummed softly a song that was stuck in her head. She was happy that Taven liked a girl for once. She heard her phone go off and checked it before ignoring it completely.

Taven chuckled hearing him and said, "I'm sure it did help. And you're welcome by the way." He teased. He heard James and nodded, "I like this one for once." He said turning to glance at Meilani before looking at James, "Just glad you actually seem to be enjoying life for once." He said motioning towards Zoey before handing Meilani her drink. "Youre welcome." He said.

James smirked and watch the concert in front of them. He was surprised that their friend was able to get such a good band. James took a sip of his beer, standing behind Zoey so no one would bump or stagger into her.

Meilani smiled as she watched the concert, feeling Taven standing behind her. She was glad to be out for once. She took a sip of her water. "They are pretty good." She said to Taven. She wasnt expecting them to be so great.

Zoey was acutely aware of James behind her and was enjoying the music a small smile on her face. She enjoyed more classical music or bouncy type music but this was pretty good. She was in the middle of turning around to ask James a question when someone in front of her shoved her to the side pushing her into James. "Hey!" She said loudly turning to look a the person glaring at them. "There's a person standing here asshole." She said, but the dude was drunk and grabbed her arm. "Ow." She hissed feeling his nails sink into her arm. She tried to pull away but he had an iron grip.

Taven made sure no one was able to mess with Meilani. He looked down at her and grinned seeing that she was having fun. "Pretty good party?" He asked her leaning down to say it in her ear so she could hear him over the thumping of the bass. He smiled at her knowing that James and Zoey were somewhere else so that they could be closer or something like that. He was alone with Meilani so to speak.

James frowned when the guy grabbed Zoey. "Hey asshole." He said, grabbing the guy by his shirt, "I suggest you take your hand off of her before I break it." He snapped. He glared at the guy, watching as he let go of Zoey. "Get out of here." He snapped, shoving the guy into the crowd. He watched as the guy walked away, before turning back to Zoey, "Are you okay?" He asked as he moved so he could keep her from being touched again.

Meilani smiled as she felt him talking in her ear. She could feel the goosebumps rise on her skin from how close her was. She nodded, "Yea it's good." She said, looking at him. She was surprised at how close he actually was to her when she seen him.

Zoey looked up hearnig James and heard his words, and was let go. She peeked around from behind his body watching the scene play through. She nodded to James. "I guess." She took her arm and twisted it to look at it and winced seeing that he had grabbed her so hard his nails had left imprints with blood. "Damn he had a grip on him." She murmured before looking up at James. "Thanks." She told him grabbing a napkin and trying to wipe the blood off of her arm.

Taven laughed his laugh light and airy compared to his usual composure. "I'm glad." He told her laying his head on her shoulder gently and saying, "i'm glad you came here with me." He murmrued to her before kissing her cheek lightly and going back to how he was. He was honestly floating at the moment. He was in a state of happiness just being able to spend his night with her, without doing studying or something like that.

James frowned, "That guys was a real asshole." He said as he tried to put pressure on her arm. He pulled away, seeing that it quit bleeding. "If you want I can go and kick his ass." He said, smirking. He didn't like the idea of someone hurting Zoey. It really pissed him off and he kind of wish he would have punched that guy in the face.

Meilani smiled when he kissed her cheek. She was glad it was dark so her blushing was obvious. "I'm glad I came along with you." She said. She watched the band, loving the closeness of Taven's body to his. She tried to push away the bad thoughts that she was having about having him in her bed. She knew they weren't terrible, but she also knew that her dad would not like the idea of that.

Zoey laughed and said, "Most people are, Jamesy. It's life." She chuckled giving a small smile before blinking feeling his rough hands gently touching her arm and putting pressure on it. She was surprised at the gentleness he gave her. She wondered just how gentle he could be. She laughed hearing him, "What would that accomplish?" She questioned looking up at him her eyes bright and almost laughing. Her lips were pursed a little bit as she waited for his answer.

Taven felt her smile and smiled in return and heard her. "I am as well. I'm having fun just being around you." He told her wondering why he was being so open with her. It was very odd, but there was something so different about her and he couldn't put his finger on it but he was so glad. He would keep her a secret from his father just so she wouldn't get wrapped up in his family drama. "My goal is to make your father like me." He told her seriously.

James smirked, "Well, It would make me feel a lot better." He said. "I hate that he did this." He said, rolling his eyes. "I shouldn't have let him hurt you." He said. He felt bad for letting anyone hurt her. "Are you sure you are okay?" He asked as he ran his fingers over her arm, lightly. James bit his bottom lip lightly as he looked at her arm.

Meilani laughed softly, "Good luck. He is nice, but he is hard to convince about things." She said. "I think he kind of liked you though." She said. Once the band took a break she looked at him, "Do you want to go outside?" She asked. She really wanted some fresh air. She wasn't a fan of all the drunk people staggering around. Meilani took his hand as he led her out of the house.

Zoey laughed hearing him, "Only for a second then you'd get mad again." She reminded him a smile on her face before hearing him and shrugged before blinking hearing him say that he shouldn't of let him hurt her. She tilted her head, "Hmm? Shouldn't have let him hurt me? I'm going to get hurt by stuff, you can't control everything." She told him laughing poking his forehead. "If you keep looking like that, you'll get forehead wrinkles." She teased. "I'm fine. It doesn't hurt much, just kind of I don't know how to explain it. A little bit of a burning sensation." She laughed smiling feeling her skin get goosebumps from how lightly he was touching her. "It's not like it won't heal, James." She murmured. "Don't worry about it." She told him giving him a warm smile.

Taven laughed and blinked hearing her, "Huh, well, I suppose that's a good thing." He laughed. "I don't know. It'd be nice to get a blessing, but even without it, I'll still want you." He told her gently pushing some hair out of her face before nodding. "Sure." He chuckled, feeling her hand in his own and laced their fingers letting her lead the way, but keeping a look out making sure no one thought about knocking into her, or even touching her. He'd kill someone if they hurt her. Once outside he breathed in the air and asked, "Are you having fun?" He smiled, his smile crooked but cute.

James looked at her and smiled, "I will try not to." He said, looking at the band taking a break. "You want to go get a drink?" He asked. James smiled as he ran his fingers through her hair. He didn't know why, but his feelings were really starting to surface now that they were alone. He had always liked that she stood up for herself. If was one of her qualities that he really loved.

Meilani nodded, "Yea I am actually." She sat as she sat outside on the bench next to him. "I could do without the drunk idiots though." She said, laughing softly. Meilani looked him, taking his hand again. His hand was so much warmer than hers. Meilani bit her bottom lip lightly as she looked at their hands. She never seen herself with someone like Taven and now she really couldn't think of being with anyone else.

Zoey laughed and said, "Is that always your answer?" She questioned a smile on her face as she looked up as the band quit playing to have a break. Hearing him, she turned back towards him the light catching her eyes making them even more green than normal. "Sure, but I'm not going get to alcohol, though at this rate I'll have to drive you home." She teased having spoken a little softer feeling his hand running itself througout her pony tail. She smiled and said, "You'll have to lead the way, though, considering I don't know this place." She got another text and looked down, but once again ignored it, putting her phone on silent and putting it in James pocket since she didn't have any. "I'll get that later." She laughed her hand brushing his hand as she did so.

Taven smiled and said, "I'm glad." He watched her in the street light thinking that she was beautiful and laughed hearing her. "Yeah, well, sadly whatever concert you go to these days, there's always just drunk people. Don't worry, I won't let them touch you." He said getting a little serious to show her that he wouldn't. Feeling her hand, he laced their fingers and murmured, "Hey are you cold?" He looked at her. "Here." He said taking his jacket off and putting it on her shoulders before taking her hand again. "You know you're beautiful right?" He told her smiling crookedly.

James chuckled, "You assume that i'm getting alcohol. I'm hurt, really." He teased her. He watched as she put her phone in his pocket, then lead her through the crowd. He grabbed a water for the two of them, handing her one. He found them a place to sit down, then sat with her. He made sure they weren't in the center of all the drunks. Though they were pretty much everywhere.

Meilani smiled as he gave her his jacket, taking his hand. The smell of his cologne surrounded her and she loved it. She looked at him, hearing him say she was beautiful. She felt like he knew exactly what to say and when to say it. She watched him for a moment, before leaning in and kissing him. She couldn't believe how great his lips felt against hers and she knew that she just let herself fall into the place she swore she would never be.

"Are you really, though?" Zoey asked raising an eyebrow laughing softly as she said so. She walked with him at one point grabbing onto his jacket so she wouldn't lose him before letting go once he had stopped and took the water from him. "Thank you." She said sitting down beside him watching all of the people and smiled softly. She sipped on her water and said, "I don't get what's so fun about being drunk. You loose all ability to be able to make comprehensible decision making. That doesn't sound fun. It sounds like a disaster." She laughed turning to look at James pushing her glasses back up onto the bridge of her nose.

Taven chuckled and said, "You look good in my jacket." He told her knowing usually he would be smooth talking a girl, but here he was just saying whatever came to his mind. He looked down at her seeing her look at him and felt a kind of electricty go through him as he did before feeling her kiss him. He kissed her back raising his hand to rest on her face his thumb tracing on her cheek as he did so. He smiled against the kiss happy that he was finally kissing her. He had been taking it slow trying to let her lead so as to make her comfortable.

James looked at her, "It mean it is okay as long as you don't over indulge. Me and Taven have a good time, but we also don't get drunk about people like this. We are less likely to get in a fight that way." He said, laughing. "Taven has quite the temper when you piss him off." He explained. James took a sip of his water, ready for the band to come back on.

Meilani felt his hand move for her cheek as she kissed him, feeling him kiss her back. She pulled away from him slowly, looking at him. She wasn't expecting to like kissing him as much as she did and it scared her a lot. Meilani felt really comfortable with Taven though. He didn't seem like the kind of guy to push her into doing anything. Meilani smiled at him, "We should go back inside." She said softly.
