Artemis moaned out, pressing her lips to Zack’s when he spanked her. “Can you blame me,” she asked. “Your dick feels so good.” She was actually looking forward to whatever punishment he may have had in mind for her.

“I want you to have a good time,” Brian stated. “I don’t feel like you have since we got here because of me.” He didn’t know why he was overthinking everything so much but he was and he honestly felt embarrassed and annoyed with himself because of it.

Zack bit her lip and tugged it gently, slamming into her until he reached his own orgasm. He moaned her name, panting softly as he dropped her leg. He took a deep breath, grinning down at her. "God, I fucking love you," he mumbled.

"I'm having a great time," Fae said. "It just seems to me like you aren't." She was starting to think he wasn't used to having feelings for someone else because it was obvious he was overthinking everything. "Just relax, and let things happen. You don't have to control everything, you know."

“I love you too,” Artemis grinned. She ran her hands through his hair, smiling as she rested her head against his chest. “We should probably get cleaned up now,” she giggled. The brunette grabbed her body wash and began lathering herself up to clean up.

“I just want you to be happy,” Brian stated. “And I don’t feel like I have been.” He didnt like admitting how he felt outloud but he would for her since he cared a lot about her. “Honestly all I wanted was to prove I could be a good friend and more to you but that’s going horribly wrong.”

Zack nodded his head, pulling away from her and sighing contently. "I could get used to this, you know," he said as he watched her. "This you and me thing." It was nice to just have her, with nobody else around to get in the way. Although, he did miss Matt, but what was he supposed to do? His best friend had turned on him. Now all he had was Artemis.

Fae frowned, her brows furrowing in confusion. "How so?" she asked. "Because you haven't done anything to show me differently." She stepped even closer to him, leaning up and pressing her lips to his. She kissed him, sliding her arms around his neck and tangling her fingers into his hair.

“It’ll be you, me and the twins soon,” Artemis replied. “And I don’t know if it excites or terrifies me more.” The brunette was obviously excited to finally have the twins in the world but she was also terrified that she wouldn’t be ready or she wouldn’t be good enough.

Brian kissed Fae back, relieved and happy she had initiated the kiss. He didn’t think he’d ever get tired of her touch or his lips on hers.

Zack reached up and gently touched her cheek. "It'll all work out," he said. "Honestly, it scares me a bit too. But I know you'll be a good mom, because you're so motivated and you'll dedicate yourself to being a good mother." He knew her well enough now to know she would use her shitty home life as motivation to be the best mother she could. So he wasn't worried about that in the slightest. But himself, though? He wasn't sure if he would make a good father.

Fae pulled back after a moment, taking in a breath. "Are you done sulking now, because I'm ready to have some fun," she teased, lightly poking the tip of his nose before she took his hand and led him into the living room. She sat down on the couch, patting the space beside her. "Come cuddle with me, I'm cold."

“I can tell you’ll be a good dad too,” Artemis smiled. “I can tell you already love our kids so much.” Anytime she had him touch her bump she noticed a happy twinkle in his eyes and she absolutely loved it.

Brian pouted when Fae said he had been sulking. “I was not,” he argued. He sat down next to her, grabbing a blanket before he did and wrapped his arms and the blanket around her. “Better?”

Zack smiled at her. "You think so?" he asked, glancing down at her stomach. "I want to be a better parent to them than mine were to me. I mean, my parents weren't awful but they just didn't feel like parents. They didn't bond with any of us. Sometimes I wonder why they even had kids."

Fae smiled and nodded her head, kissing his cheek. "You totally were," she teased, grabbing the remote and handing it to him. "You choose what to watch. I don't really know what's good or not." She didn't have a television at home, so she didn't know what channels were good or what was considered bad.

“Well we both know what we want to be as parents,” Artemis stated. “So as long as we don’t act like our parents we’ll already be great parents.” The brunette felt like she was being harsh about how her parents raised her but at the same time they had let a cult experiment on her and her brother so they were horrible in her books and nothing would change that.

Brian grabbed the remote, turning on the tv and began scrolling through the channel guide. He wanted to watch something funny that he knew Fae would enjoy. He settled on a cheesy comedy movie with Ryan Reynolds that he hadn’t paid attention to the name of. “If you don’t like what I put on let me know and we’ll find something else to watch.”

Zack nodded his head. "Good point," he said with a chuckle. He finished washing up and stepped out of the shower, grabbing one of the towels and beginning to dry off. "Maybe we can cuddle on the bed and use your laptop to look up some good apartments in the area." He was a bit jet-lagged and also worn out from the shower sex, so he really just wanted to relax with her.

Fae nodded her head. She rested her head against his shoulder, snuggling into his side. She took his hand in hers, lacing her fingers through his and sighing contently. She was glad he'd cooled down, because she really enjoyed this. Cuddling had been one of her favorite things to do with Matt, and even David when they'd been together. She just liked being close to someone, it made her feel safe.

“If we cuddle I’ll probably fall asleep,” Artemis admitted. “The twins keep me exhausted whenever you aren’t.” She pecked Zack’s lips before she began drying herself off. She was definitely jet lagged and being pregnant even with Zack’s blood was taking a lot out of her. “I mean we can always nap and then start looking,” she suggested.

“Do you like cuddling,” Brian asked. “Because I could honestly just spend the rest of our time here doing it.” He defunitky enjoyed how close she was to him and he could see himself falling asleep on the couch with her in his arms.

Zack nodded his head. "We can do that," he said. "And then we can order room service when we wake up." He smiled, wrapping the towel around his waist before he walked out of the bathroom. He opened his bag, pushing the wads of money aside before he grabbed out a fresh pair of boxers and an old, loose-fitting shirt. He put his bag aside and sat down on the bed, yawning softly.

Fae smiled and nodded her head. "Yeah, I do," she murmured. "It's one of my favorite things, actually. I love having someone close to me." She could feel the heat radiating off his body, and it was just so warm and relaxing. She closed her eyes, not taking long at all to fall asleep.

Artemis laid naked on the bed, waiting for Zack to lay down to cuddle up right besides him. “I love you,” she smiled. She rested her head on his shirted chest and fell asleep almost instantly.

Brian smiled. “I normally don’t like cuddling but I definitely enjoy it with you,” he admitted. He didn’t know if Fae would believe him but being around her honestly had him doing things he normally wouldn’t feel comfortable doing and he honestly kind of liked it.

Zack smiled as he pulled her close to him, pulling the blanket over both their bodies. He kissed her temple and ran his fingers through her hair for a bit, just enjoying the feeling of having her close before he finally forced himself to fall asleep.

Fae was already asleep before Brian finished talking, cuddling close to him as she slept. She slept for a few hours, waking up in the middle of the night, nearly freezing. She shivered as she slowly cracked her eyes open, looking around through the pitch blackness of the room. "Brian?" she mumbled, reaching up and gently shaking him.

Artemis woke up a few hours later to her stomach growling. She let a whine of annoyance and nuzzled her face further into Zack’s beck. She didn’t want to move because being in Zack’s arms was so nice and comfortable.

Brian groaned out when Fae began shaking him. He opened his eyes, his body beginning to shiver as he realized it was cold. He looked around the room after he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, trying to figure out why it was. He tried to turn a light on and frowned. “The power must be out,” he frowned. “I’ll get some wood to keep us warm until we can get it fixed.” He slid on some warm clothes, grabbing a flashlight and an axe, unsure if he’d have to chop any up at all.

Zack groaned softly at the soft movements beside him on the bed, waking up easily since he was such a light sleeper. He tightened his grip on Artemis, pulling her even closer to him, if that were even possible. "What time is it?" he grumbled, refusing to open his eyes. Not because he was still tired, but because he was just lazy.

Fae followed Brian to the door, biting her lip anxiously. "Please be careful, Brian," she murmured. She had a bad feeling, and she was afraid he'd end up hurting himself. She knew he was a demon, and he was strong and whatever, but even Matt, a strong wolf, had gotten injured badly before. She was tempted to follow him outside, but she knew he'd probably get upset if she did.

“I don’t know,” Artemis admitted. “That means I have to move to look and I don’t want to.”

“I’ll be fine I promise,” Brian replied. He pecked Fae’s cheek before he went outside towards that side of the house that would have logs stored by it if there was any already cut.

Zack chuckled. "I think I may be rubbing off on you a bit too much," he teased, slowly opening his eyes to look down at her. He kissed her temple, reaching up to push her hair away from her face.

Fae nodded, shutting the door and beginning to pace back and forth as she waited. A storm must have come through while they were sleeping and knocked the power out. She could feel the difference in the weather because of how in tune she was with nature.

“I would still be sleeping if your children hadn’t decided to be hungry,” Artemis teased. She leaned into Zack’s touch, smiling sleepily as she did. “I blame you for getting me pregnant.” She wrapped her arms around his waist and nuzzled her face further into his neck.

Brian walked outside, ignoring the sound of what he assumed was the wind blowing some tree branches. He walked over to where the logs were, setting down the axe he had brought to grab some. He heard another russle of tree branches behind him, cursing under his breath when he heard a howl and a pack of wolves began cornering him.

Zack chuckled, running his fingers through her hair. "I'm sorry, baby," he murmured. "How about we go out and get something to eat? Whatever you want." He just felt like treating her right now. She'd been through hell and she deserved nothing but the best.

Fae used her pixie dust to light the way in front of her, moving to go to the bathroom when she heard a wolf howl. She looked toward the window, standing still and listening closely to see if it howled again. She wasn't sure how close it sounded.
