Shaun curled up on the couch. He knew things would be different now, and he hated that, it was his fault.

Veronica just couldn’t see him more than a friend and yeah he was attractive and they’ve slept together but.. she was unsure about this.

Shaun sighed softly, and curled up falling asleep. He was worried everything would change now, and hated that it would all be because of him.

Veronica woke up early the next morning and figured she’d go on a morning run to clear her mind.

Shaun tossed and turned all night. He was really struggling with his feelings and anxiety about ruining their friendship. In the morning he woke, and headed to the bathroom to shower.

After her run Veronica ran a hand through her hair and walked into the bathroom. Taking her clothes off, “what a run..”

Shaun was in the water, and turned hearing her. "oh Morning," he said softly. He finished cleaning himself off.

Veronica looked up “sorry I didn’t know you were in here.”

Shaun shrugged, "it's okay, I'm finished now," he said softly. He climbed out of the shower and wrapped a towel around himself. He smiled at her, "how was your run this morning?" he asked

Shaun nodded, "well, you look good, those runs of your's keep you fit," he said softly. He moved towards the door, "I'll leave you to it," he said.

Veronica smiled “thanks and okay.” She started the shower and started to undress.

Shaun left the bathroom, and headed towards his room, to get dressed. His mind moved to thoughts of her, in the shower.

Veronica hummed softly as she showered thinking about Shaun, how could thy possibly date without ruining their friendship?

Once he was dressed, Shaun moved out to the lounge and sat on the couch. He pulled out his phone, checking his messages.
