It's a Beautiful Day

Gabby fake pouted for a moment, then looked to him. "If you say so." She spoke with a sweet smile. She kissed him on the lips before slowly rising out of bed. "I guess, I should go take a shower." She said as she got up, making her way into the bathroom, turning on the shower. "Derek, do you want to join me?" She called out to him.

Mark held her hand and nodded. "Yes it will be all okay." He said, kissing her with a sweet smile. "So what is this appointment for?" He asked softly, forgetting what they were here for with the baby.

Derek laughed, "Just a moment angel." Derek called out to his wife. Grabbing his clothes he walked into the bathroom stepping in since he was already nude. Smirking at his wife he pulled her close and lent in kissing her lips lightly.

Emily smiled at Mark, "We have an ultrasound." Emily smiled kissing his lips. "It's time we find out what this little one is going to be. If you want to find out that is." Emily told Mark holding his hand.

Gabby giggled a little when he pulled her close, kissing her lightly. "I knew you couldn't show no to this." She spoke softly against his lips. "I still can't believe I'm married to you." She said with much excitement. She pulled away to let the water run down her body as she picked up the shampoo and started to wash her hair. "So now that we're married, do we have any rules at work that we should consider?" She asked as she looked up at him, admiring the gorgeous man in front of her.

Mark kissed her lips back and smiled. "An ultrasound, right." He chuckled. Looking down at their hands, he looked back up at her eyes and smiled. "I hope we get to find out what the little one is going to be." He commented with a big smile. "What are you wanting? I don't think we really ever talked about that." He asked, looking into her eyes.

Holding her close, Derek shook his head. "I might be more protective of you now. Rules, no." Derek smiled kissing her lips lightly. "I just want my wife, safe and doing what she loves to do." Derek smiled at her.

"As long as it's healthy. I don't care." Emily smiled hearing her name being called. Getting up she walked with Mark smiling at the woman. Once she was on the table and ready for the ultrasound. She watched closely seeing the tiny human inside of her. Smiling she heard the woman ask if they wanted to know. "Yes." Emily replied softly holding Mark's hand.

"Congratulations Mark and Emily. You two are having a baby girl." She smiled.

Emily smiled brightly as she looked at Mark, "A little girl." Emily smiled brightly at her boyfriend.

"No rules, alright. More protective of me?" She asked softly, looking to him. "What does that mean?" She asked curiously, kissing his lips. She smiled as she ran her hands through her hair, washing it.

A Baby Girl. He was so excited and shocked all at the same time. "A Baby Girl." He said with a bright smile. He kissed her deeply on the lips and smiled. "I can't believe this." He said with much excitement.

"Means more protective. Any dangerous situations happen. No." Derek kissed her neck lightly smiling at his wife. "I just want to keep you safe from dangerous." Derek whispered.

Emily smiled at Mark as she finished up. Seeing the DR and getting news she was getting more better, and the bed rest had been lifted. Smiling she took and walked out of the office as they headed to the car. She was beyond excited they were having a daughter.

Gabby nodded, "Gotcha." She smiled, tilting her head up a little as he kissed her neck. "You know we are never going to get anywhere with us distracting each other like this." She laughed. "Well I'm glad to see that you're protective over me, that's one of the many things I love about you."

Mark was over the moon about this excitement. Walking out of the office with her, Mark looked to Emily. "Do you work today?" HE asked. "Or are you off?" He looked at the ultrasound picture. "I can't believe it. We're having a little girl." He was all smiles. "When are you going to tell Derek and Gabby?"

Smirking against her lips, Derek took and pulled back looking at her. "I will always be protective of you." Derek smiled cupping her cheeks and kissing her lips lightly. "Alright let's get showered and get ready for the day." Derek smiled.

"When they get back. I don't want to intrude on their honeymoon. I am off still till next week from the bed rest issue. After that I am cleared to go back." Emily smiled at Mark holding to his arm.

When she finished showering, Gabby stepped out of the shower getting dressed. "How should I get dressed for today?" She asked as she pulled out a couple of outfits. She looked to him as Derek wrapped a towel around his body. "Good grief Derek, you could weaken a woman just by walking out like that."

Mark nodded, "Alright, well another week on bedrest, I will keep spoiling you." He smiled and kissed her softly. "I can't wait to tell them get back." He grinned with a smirk.

Derek took and grinned at her, "I am sorry baby." Derek smirked at her getting him some clothes out. "Casual." He added smilin gat her.

Emily giggled, "I love you." Emily smiled at her boyfriend. "I am starving, can we go eat?" Emily asked.

"Oh you have nothing to apologize for." She smiled as she picked out some casual clothing. She decided on a light pink tank top, light blue jean shoes, and a black pair of sandals. "How do I look?"

"Sure, where do you want to go?" He asked as he walked her to the car.

"Beautiful as always, baby." Derek smiled at his wife as he decided on a button up top and some jeans and a pair of tennis shoes. "Ready?" Derek asked his wife.

"Anywhere's. I am just starving." Emily smiled at Mark holding onto his arm as they walked to his car.

"Yes!" She said with a much excitement to husband. She went into the bathroom for a moment to quickly apply some make up on and to brush her newly washed hair. She then quickly blew it dry before stepping back out of the bathroom. "Okay, I'm officially ready." She said.

Mark nodded, helping her into the car. He drove to the local little diner that they liked to go to. "How does here sound?"

Derek laughed, "Alright let's go." Derek slid his arm around her waist and walked with her. "I rented a car for us to use while we're here." Derek smiled opening the door for her as he got in himself heading into town for the first stop. Snorkeling with dolphins and such.

"Wonderful." Emily smiled getting out. She walked with Mark to the diner, and inside. Greeting the workers like normal she sat down at their favorite spot. She saw the woman nod and nodded. She had been eating her usual since she'd gotten pregnant.

Gabby looked to Derek, walking with her. She smiled and nodded. "That sounds like a good plan." She looked to her and kissed her softly on the lips. This was the perfect honeymoon and Derek was the perfect husband.

Mark nodded to the Diner's Workers and smiled. He sat down with her and smiled. He reached his hand out for hers. "Tell me, what are we in the mood for today?"

Derek smiled at her and kissed her lips softly. Once they were in town he pulled up at the center. Holding her hand he smiled, "First stop. Breakfast, than a surprise." Derek smiled at his wife.

"My usual." Emily smiled holding his hand. "Maybe with a vanilla milkshake too." She giggled looking at Mark smiling brightly.

Gabby smiled as she held his hand. "Breakfast, then a surprise?" She said with a bright smile. "Derek, I don't know how you can keep spoiling me with more surprises." She giggled. When Derek parked the car, Gabby pulled the mirror down for a second, doing a double check on herself before getting out of the car. "My Darling Husband." She winked as she met him in the front of the car and grabbed his hand.

Mark nodded, "I think we can do that." He winked as he looked over the menu. He quickly decided on something. Waving the waitress over to them, he took the menus, placing both of their orders. Once the waitress left to go put their orders in, Mark turned back to Emily and just smiled. "I still can't believe it. We're having a little girl." He said with a bright smile.

Derek took and smiled at her. He held to her hand before kissing her lips softly. "My beautiful wife." Derek smiled opening the door to the diner as he let her go in and he followed behind. Smiling at his wife he took and kissed her lips softly before going to find a seat for them.

Emily smiled, "I know." Emily smiled at him. "What about a name? Have you thought of anything" Emily asked her boyfriend.

Gabby followed behind him. This was absolutely perfect, and she still felt like this whole honeymoon experience should be a dream. As she sat down, Gabby took a moment to admire the cute, quaint place that Derek had chosen for them to have Breakfast at today. Being here just added to their honeymoon bliss. Sitting across from her husband, she continued to have the same giddy smile on her face. "Derek, I don't know if I will ever stop smiling." She blushed, feeling like a little schoolgirl. She looked at him and just giggled, playing with.a strand of her hair, twirling it in her fingers.

"Names?" Mark looked up to her. "You've got to be kidding me?!" He chuckled. "I have been too caught up in the idea of finding out the sex of our baby that I haven't even started to think of any names. But if you have any suggestions for our little growing girl, I would love to hear them. I am sure you're better with the baby names than me anyway." He chuckled.

Smiling at Gabby, Derek took and grinned even more at her. "I'm glad I have that effect on you." Derek smiled to her as he reached across the table taking her hand into his own. "I'm glad you came to Seattle Grace. I'm glad you wound up being my intern. Because if you hadn't. I wouldn't had gotten the chance to make you mine, forever." Derek smiled at Gabby.

Emily shook her head, "Oh Mark." Emily giggled smiling at him. "I was thinking either Olivia or Sophia." Emily smiled at Mark. "I think both of those names are beautiful." Emily admitted.
