Mark held her hand. "Breathe." He said, trying his best to help her stay calm. "You're doing good baby." He whispered, kissing the side of her cheek.

Derek took and laid in the bed with Gabby. They hadn't heard anything from Mark about Emily. He was hoping all was well with his best friend, and the mother to be.

Looking at the newborn in her arms, Emily smiled beamingly admiring her daughter. It'd been nearing two hours since she'd giving birth to their beautiful. Healthy. Gorgeous. Daughter. Smiling over at Mark she admired him a second, "She's perfect." Emily whispered to him.

(Yes it is fine!)

Gabby was laying in bed with Derek, constantly checking her phone. She was hoping everything was okay with her best friend and couldn't wait for a text. "do you think everything is okay?" She asked, slightly worried.

Mark wiped the tears from his face. "Oh she's so precious." He whispered. "How did we make such a perfect little baby?"

Derek looked over at his wife, unsure. "I am not sure honey. I am sure if something happened, bad. Mark would've let us know." Derek told her patting her hand lightly. "Try to rest baby." Derek told her.

Emily smiled up at Mark. "She is beyond perfect." Emily whispered to him smiling.

Gabby sighed. "Try to rest you say. My best friend is in labor and I am worried. How can I try and rest?"

Mark smiled. "How are you feeling?"

Derek looked over at her frowning, "Sorry baby." Derek whispered sitting up as he grabbed his phone. Texting Mark, Hey is everything ok? Gabby and I are worried to death.

Smiling up at Mark, Emily smiled at him. "I'm ok." Emily told him as she smiled at him briefly before looking at their daughter. "Have you told Gabby and Derek yet?" Emily questioned.

Gabby didn't say anything. She was definitely a little moody. She turned her back to face Derek, staring at the wall in the dark.She heard Derek text seconds later, knowing that he was more than likely checking in with Mark. She said nothing, just waited.

Mark looked to his phone as he heard Emily as if he had told Derek and Gabby. "I swear you guys can all read each other's minds." He then took a second to text Derek. She had the Baby. Mom and baby girl are doing great!He text back before taking a picture and send it with her full name, time of birth, and weigh.

Emily laughed lightly, "Well Gabby and I can." Emily winked at Mark smiling as she held their daughter. Seeing the nursery nurse come to take her away for a while. Emily handed her off and laid back into the hospital bed. Smiling at Mark she stared at him, "This has been a day." Emily yawned wore out from delivering.

Derek read the message and saw the picture. "Honey." Derek told his wife hoping she'd roll and look at him so she could see her goddaughter.

Mark kissed the side of her head. "This was such a perfect day." He looked at Emily. "How are you feeling now?"

"What Derek?" She snapped, looking over to him.

Emily stared at Mark adjusting herself a little, "Tired. Very tried." Emily smiled softly at Mark. "Bringing a life into this world, is very tiring." She whispered out yawning once more.

Derek looked at her, "There's the little princess." Derek whispered kind of scared of his wife mood swings at the moment.

"Aww baby." he smiled. "you did wonderful. I am so proud of you." He kissed the side of her head. "Can I get you anything?"

Gabby looked, tears filling her eyes. "Oh look at the little princess." She looked at Derek. "Honey, look at the little princess."

Smiling Derek nodded his head. "She is gorgeous. Both are doing fine." Derek told his wife.

Emily smiled shaking her head. "No. Im fine. Im going to rest while they have her in the nursery."

Gabby smiled. "We'll go see them in the morning." She said with a bright smile. It was crazy how quickly her moods changed lately. "I'm very happy for the both of them." She pulled out her phone, seeing a quick congrats text to her best friend before laying back down again her belly.

Mark nodded with a sweet smile. "I just thought I would ask." He sat down in the lounging chair next to the bed.

Derek rolled over to his side. Putting his arm around Gabby. Keeping close to his wife he kissed the side of her head. "Good night love." Derek whispered to her shutting his eyes wore out.

Emily looked at Mark smiling, "Why don't you lay with me? Rest a little." Emily stared at him. "I know you're tired." Emily smiled at him.

Gabby moved closer to her husband before closing her eyes. "Good Night Darling." She whispered. She then slowly started to drift to sleep.

Mark moved, laying down in the bed with her. "Better?" He asked softly.

TWO MONTHS LATER...

Mark was starting at the sleeping baby in the crib. Gosh, she was the most beautiful thing on the planet. He carefully picked the baby up, rocking her in his arms. "Hello precious." He whispered, kissing her head.

Gabby was sitting at her desk, eyes closed as the nausea washed over her. This was annoying. She had been sick most of the night and for it to continue in the morning just pissed her off. Why even call it morning sickness if it happened all day long. Slowly sipping on the water, the young blonde took a couple of deep breaths in and out.

Walking towards his wife, Derek stared at her. "What is the matter honey?" Derek questioned his wife staring at her. "Is it the sickness?" He asked her frowning.

Smiling at Mark and Sophia. Emily snapped a picture as she walked over kissing his cheek. She stared at their daughter adoring her. "How are my two favorite people in the world?" Emily smiled at Mark.

Gabby opened her eyes, looking to Derek. "I'm fine, but yes." She said, taking another sip of her water. "I'm just annoyed right now.

"Baby." Derek stared at her. "The doctor said this was normal. Can I get you anything?" He questioned his wife.

"I'm ok." Emily smiled at him. "I am dreading when my maternity leave ends." Emily admitted to her boyfriend. "I am going to miss this little beauty." She told him biting her lip. "Mark." Emily paused. "I have been thinking." She stared at him. "I kind of want to take a year off. Be here with Sophia." She told him.
