It's a Beautiful Day

Gabby smiled at Derek's words, staring deeply into those beautiful rich blue eyes of his. When he kissed her once more, she couldn't help but smile even brighter as she kissed him deeply. "And I want to be with you forever as well." She whispered as she felt tears slowly welling up in her eyes. She didn't mean to be so emotional over this, however, she felt like this was the happiest she had ever been in such a long time. Glancing over at the clock on the desk, Gabby looked to him. "We should get going so we can go home and change." She suggested.

Mark growled a little at her comment. "Oh baby...I love the way you think." He smirked as he allowed himself to pulled closer to her. A big grin spread across his face as he kissed her just as deeply. He slowly pulled back, looking down at her beautiful face. "So, do you really want to skip dinner and go home, or do you want to eat dinner so you can have some energy." He teased, giving her his charming smile and a wink.

Derek smiled at her as he took and looked at her pulling her closer than he’d had her to him before. “Yes, that’s true, we should be leaving so we can get to our dinner reservations.” Derek whispered smiling at her as he leaned in and kissed her lips lightly cupping her cheek.

Smirking at Mark as Emily shook her head, “Alright baby. But.” Emily grinned mischievously. “I can easily cook at home for you. And you can see my sexy little gift I bought. Today. Just for you.” Emily winked. “But it’s your choice.” She pecked his cheek stripping out of her scrubs and into her clothes as she took and tossed them into her locker walking out waiting on Mark smirking hoping she got her point across to him.

Gabby practically melted at Derek's touch. Slowly pulling away from his lips, Gabby smiled as she stepped back allowing him to gather what belongings they needed. Once Derek was ready, Gabby walked with him to her cubby in the Resident's Lounge. She didn't have much to get. After she grabbed her bag with her dirty scrubs in them and her purse, Gabby walked out of the lounge with Derek. "Lets go." she said as she grabbed his hand, walking with him down the hall to leave the hospital.

Mark thought about it for a moment. The more he thought about it, the more he realized that he liked the idea of going home and having dinner there. "You know what baby, I think I like your idea better." He grinned as he watched her. "I am liking your way of thinking." He said with a mischievous grin, before pulling her up to him. "Now, I am just ready to get home to be with you, my dear." He whispered in her ear before softly kissing her lips. "Can we go home now?" He then asked softly.

Derek smiled at Gabby holding her hand as they exited the hospital. Walking down to his Land Revolver the two of them walked out. Derek smiled as he kept her hand in his as they pulled up at the home. He killed the engine and got out opening the door for her. Smiling he kissed her lips going inside so they could get ready.

Emily melted at his touch and smiled, "We can." Emily whispered holding to Mark's hand as they exited the hospital. Smiling at Mark as they headed for their apartment. Once they got there she unlocked the door and walked inside kissing his lips as she went about washing her hands and up as she went about preparing their meal for the night.

When they got to the house Gabby hopped out of Derek's car before walking inside. A small smile lingered on her face as she went to her room to get ready. She wasn't quite sure what to wear, but she wanted it to be something that was sexy yet classic. She had finally settled on a light pink blouse, black dress pants, and black heels. She had taken her hair and curled it before touching up on her make up. Once she was ready, Gabby headed down the stairs, waiting on Derek to come down.

Mark just smiled as they made their way into their apartment. He kissed her softly on the lips before letting her get to work on their dinner. Watching her from the doorway of the kitchen, Mark just watched her. "Is there anything I can do?" He asked, making his way into the kitchen a little more. He didn't want to seem like he didn't want to help, because he did. However, he didn't want to be in the way either. "You tell me where you want me." He whispered as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Once Derek had gotten ready and everything. He took and went upstairs and into the bathroom. He smiled at Gabby seeing her disappear. He began getting ready as he took and shaved and did what he had to do. Smiling to himself he finished up and walked out and downstairs. Once he'd gotten downstairs he took and smiled at her, "You look lovely, baby." Derek smiled.

Leaning back into his touch, Emily smirked finishing up what she was doing. "You can take and get some veggies out and dice them up for me." Emily turned in his arms leaning up and kissing his lips. "That'd help me till I get the meats done for the stir fry." She smiled leaning in one more time and kissing his lips. She turned back taking her tongs and flipping the steaks and chickens over smiling.

Gabby's cheeks instantly flushed as Derek told her that she looked lovely. "Thank you, honey." She spoke as she looked over her boyfriend, just admiring the charming, McDreamy look about him. "And you look McDreamy as ever." She teased, bringing herself closer to him. She kissed him softly on the lips before pulling away once more. Pulling apart this time, Gabby knew that they needed to get going or they would never leave the house. "Lets go." She said with a bright smile. "I'm starting to get hungry." She made sure she had her belongings before heading back out the door that they had just came through about an hour before, taking her place at the passenger's side of Derek's car.

Mark grinned into their kiss once more, hearing Emily's instructions with the veggies. He pulled back and smiled, "Of course, baby." He said with a charming grin as he grabbed the vegetables that she requested before pulling a knife for the knife block. He admired her as she stood at the stove cooking up the meat before being his attention back to dicing up the veggies like she asked. Humming to himself, Mark just played today's events over and over again in his head. He couldn't believe that they had told the Chief, but once more, he was truly relieved about it. No more sneaking around, no more being cautious. Now they would be able to be the amazing couple that they were in public and not have a care in the world to worry about. When he finished dicing up the veggies, Mark turned his attention back to Emily once more. "Done baby."

Smiling Derek locked the house up and walked to the car. He got in and started it up smiling at her. He pulled out heading for the restaurant. Once he got there, he took and pulled in and smiled. Killing the engine he got out and walked around opening the door up for Gabby as he held to her as they walked inside. Going to their table he smiled pulling her chair out and letting her sit down. He smiled as he took and kissed her hand sitting in his own seat.

Emily turned her head and smiled at him, "Good. I am ready for them." Emily smiled watching him put them into the pan. Smiling she began mixing them into the meat and spices. Turning the stove eye downs she smiled at him admiring him. She slipped her arms around his neck grinning, "Thank you." She whispered kissing his lips.

Gabby smiled at Derek as they made their way inside the restaurant. Once seated by the hostess, she sat down and just watched Derek as he sat down across from her. Her cheeks went a little flush as he kissed her hand, which caused her to smile getting lost in her gorgeous eyes. "This is such a perfect night." She said with a bright smile. "And tonight we have SO much for celebrate for." She said as she started to look at the men. She couldn't decide what she wanted to eat, but she knew that she was figure out. Even if she had to ask Derek for a suggestion or two on what she should get.

Mark smiled a little and nodded, handing over the chopped veggies. He watched Emily as she started to mix all the foods together. A big grin danced across the man's face as he watched her. When he caught her admiring him, Mark just chuckled and gave her a little wink. He then opened his arms to her, allowing himself to pull her closer to him. "You're welcome." He whispered as their lips touched. Kissing her passionately and deeply, Mark just couldn't help but chuckle a little to himself. Slowly pulling back for the both of them to get some air and take a breather, he looked down at her, gently brushing away some of her hair. "Would you say today was a success?" He asked curiously.

Derek smiled at her nodding his head, "Yes it is." Derek told her smiling at her. "It's an amazing night to celebrate." Derek told her as he ordered his meal and taking a sip of his drink.

Emily smiled, "Today was a huge success." Emily smiled at Mark keeping her arms around his neck. "Everything went so well, and I didn't expect Richard to be so happy. But he was." Emily smiled at him.

Gabby took a sip of her water before finally deciding what she was going to have for dinner. When the waiter came by for their orders, she ordered her food then brought her attention back to Derek. Once they both ordered, Gabby just smiled at his words. “And what should we do to enjoy this amazing night of celebration?” She asked softly.

Mark nodded in agreement with her. “I know, I was truly expecting him to be pissed.” He commented as he kept his hands on her waist. “But you know even if he was pissed, I still won’t care.” He chuckled beforenlesning down to kiss her once more. Slowly pulling back, Mark gently cupped her face. “So what do you have planned for tonight?” He asked softly.

Smiling at her as he sat his drink down. Derek took and smiled at her as he slipped his hand into hers and held to it. Stroking the top of it with his thumb he smiled at her. "I think we should go home after this. Do a little celebrating at home." Derek smiled at her. "I'm glad Richard was ok with us being together. Even if he hadn't, i'd still wouldn't had care." Derek told her smiling.

Smiling Emily took and leaned up kissing his lips one more time. "Well, I have a surprise for you." Emily told him. "Can you take and get the food off? I'll be back in a bit." She smirked walking off quickly and locking their bedroom door. She took and got out of her clothes and into the lingerie. She smiled doing her hair and makeup quickly. Slipping her feet into her heels. She stood up looking in the floor length mirror at herself. She twisted a little making sure she look perfect.

Walking to the door she unlocked it, and walked out standing in their living room. She smirked putting her hands on her hips, "Babe." She said seeing him turn around. "Surprise." She grinned.

Gabby smiled at Derek, taking a sip of her drink. "I love that idea...a little home celebration." She giggled. She then nodded, agreeing to Derek's comment about Richard being okay with them. "Yes, well I wouldn't have cared either. I knew from the moment I met you, I knew I was supposed to be with you." She smiled and reached across the table to kiss him. "I love you, Derek Shepherd." She said as she saw their waiter come towards their table with their food. "I love you and food." She laughed lightly as she sat up to let the waiter put her food in front of her. Once they both got their food, Gabby looked up to Derek. "This looks so good."

"Of course." Mark said as he walked over to the food, watching it and taking care of it while Emily was gone. He was rather curious about this surprise, but he knew that he had to be patient about it. When he heard Emily's voice, Mark turned around and his jaw nearly dropped seeing his girlfriend dressed in lingerie. "Oh....wow...." He breathed as he took a step away from the stove. "Baby...you look amazing." He chuckled as he moved to her. Gently putting his hands on her waist. "This is definitely a surprise." He grinned as he leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. "You so know how to make my nights so incredible." He chuckled.

Derek smiled, "Of course you'd say you like food." Derek took a bite of his own enjoying his dinner. He finished up a little while later and finished off his drink. "So am I close to food or more than food?" Derek smirked watching her and admiring her. He knew no other woman could have him like she did, and he was truly thankful that she was his.

Emily smirked as she slid her arms around his neck returning the kiss. "I am full of surprises." She teased pressing her body into his own. She cupped his cheeks leaning up and kissing his lips deeply. She smiled into the kiss pulling back lightly, "I love you Mark Sloan, and I am thankful that you're mine. We're meant to be." She whispered to him stroking his cheek lightly with her thumb as she admired how sexy he was.

Gabby couldn't help but giggle a little at Derek. "Oh, I love you WAY more than food." She spoke, blushing a little. She took a sip of her wine as she finished up her dinner. She knew how lucky she was and was truly thankful that she had him in her life, and she never wanted that to change. "Food can only comfort me for so long and so far...you, on the other hand...." She trailed off with a little giggle and a wink. Underneath the table, Gabby allowed her hand to slowly move up and down Derek's thigh, blushing a little, seeing him turn a little red himself.

Mark just chuckled and kissed her deeply on the lips. "I love you more than anything in the entire world, and I am NEVER losing you." He whispered against her lips. He kept his arms around his waist as he slowly pulled back to admire her once more. "You are definitely worth all the secrets in the world...and I'm glad I don't have to keep you a secret anymore." He chuckled. Quickly and carefully moving himself, Mark gracefully picked up Emily. "I feel we need to carry this to the bedroom." He grinned. "What do you think darling?" He chuckled as he started to slowly kiss down her neck.

Feeling her hand rub up and down his thigh, Derek blushed even more as he smiled at her. Clearing his throat, a little bit he smiled, “Maybe we should head home? Continue this?” Derek offered with a smile grin.

Emily bit on her lip and leaned into him a little smirking. “Yes, I think we should take this to the bedroom.” She whispered smirking at him as she kept close to him grinning.

Gabby couldn't help but still smile as she slowly dropped her hand from his thigh, letting it rest back in her own lap. "I think the would be a wonderful idea." She said as she gathered her belongings while Derek paid the check. She was more than ready to go home to be with this man. The look of love sparkled in Gabby's eyes as they left, she slipped in her hand with his, walking out to Derek's car. When they reached the car, Gabby turned to him and kissed him. "I almost don't want to wait till home." She laughed lightly, looking up to him.

Mark chuckled and nodded in agreement with Emily. "What a splendid idea, baby." He grinned as he picked her up, carrying her into their bedroom. When he reached the room, Mark gently laid Emily on the bed, then took a moment to just look at her...the just admire her. "Emily Stone, I love you more than anything." He said as he leaned down to kiss her softly on the lips while his hands danced around her body. "And I want to give anything and everything in this entire world."

Derek smirked pulling her close as he kept his hand on the small of her back. "How about we use my Rover?" Derek smirked at her. "We never have used the back seat before." He winked keeping her close. "First time for everything. I want to see what's underneath that dress." Derek whispered into her ear nibbling on her ear lobe.

Emily smiled up at him cupping his cheek. "You've given me everything I could ever need and want. You." Emily told Mark lightly before leaning up and kissing his lips deeply. She let her hands roam down his chest as she smirked into the kiss.

Goosebumps danced across Gabby's skin as Derek nibbled on her ear lobe. She couldn't believe she was hearing this correctly from him, but it definitely struck her interest. Slowly pulling back from Derek, Gabby looked at him dead in the eyes, making sure that he was truly being serious about this. "Well Derek." She said with a small smile. "I think we could use your Rover." Laughing lightly, she brought herself closer to him again and kissed him deeply on the lips.

Mark smirked at Emily, kissing her deeply on the lips. His hands made their way to the soft fabric of the lingerie, gently tugging on the top. "This...my dear...needs to be removed." He whispered in her ear as he started to pull up on the top. Life for Mark was absolutely perfect and he wanted nothing more than to spend all the time that he could with her.

Grinning at her, he took and kissed her back just like she had him. He pulled back taking her to the vehicle. Once inside he headed for a secluded location. Once they were there, he got in the back seat with Gabby. He laid on top of her and smirked leaning down kissing her lips deeply. Allowing his hands to trail down her body, as he took and smirked through the kiss. "I love you so much, Gabby." He whispered. "Gabby, I love you so much. I want us to take the next step." Derek whispered looking at her.

Emily smirked at him as she sat up into him. She took the top off and watched it fall as she saw him lick his lips in lust. She leaned in smirking as she pushed him to his back climbing on top of him. Sitting herself over his lower half, she leaned down and kissed his lips deeply letting her hands run over his body.
