Gabby looked to Christian when he walked back into the Dining Room, just nodding when he told her that they were gone for the night. "Thank you, Christian." She said with a small smile as she took a bite of her food. She still couldn't believe that this happened. But above everything, she knew that she needed to continue to be strong...that's how her daddy raised her to be and that's how she wanted to be.

She carefully watched as Christian sat back down at the table. A small smile danced across her face as she watch him semi-relax for once. She knew that it was rare for Christian be to relax, especially with what he had went through during his life. However, at this moment in his life, Gabby could tell that he was semi-relaxed, and she liked to see that. As she waited him, a small pink blush danced across her cheeks, and she didn't know why.

Christian nodded to her, "no problem Gabby," he said lightly. He sat back down relaxing slightly and finished up eating. He looked across at her and notice the slightest blushing on her cheeks. He was proud of her for being so strong through this.

Christian sat back and looked at her, "you go sit down, get some rest, I'll tidy up" he offered lightly. He wanted her to take a break, she needed to grieve properly and hoped that she'd be comfortable to do it around him.

That same blush stay painted on Gabby's cheeks as Christian offered to tidy up and let her just relax. She was really thankful for this moment, and just nodded. For once in her 25 years of life, Gabby wasn't going to argue with being a hostess. Getting up from the kitchen table, Gabby took a final sip of her drink, looking to Christian. "Thank you for doing this." She said softly with a sweet smile. She then made her way out of the dining room before heading up to her room.

As she passed her father's room, Gabby stopped, getting all teary-eyed. She walked into the room and laid on the bed, taking in the smell of her father. "Oh Daddy." She cried softly. "I miss you." She whispered as she wiped her tears from her cheek.

Christian smiled gently and nodded to her. He was thankful that she was willing to take a rest for awhile. He was pretty tired himself at this point. Christian slowly and carefully cleared off the table and cleaned the dishes, tidying up the whole kitchen.

He made his way upstairs to prepare for rest, he was finally ready to take his dress uniform off.

Gabby stayed laying on her father's bed, crying softy for she didn't want Christian to know that she was crying. This was one of the hardest things that she had ever gone through, and she really didn't know how she was going to pull out of this one.

As she heard movement make its way up the stairs, she knew it had to be Christian. Quickly sitting up in her dad's bed, Gabby brushed some hair out of her face, deciding that she needed to at least slip into some other clothing that was a bit more comfortable.

Exiting her dad's room, she walked across the hall to her room. Stripping out of her clothing, Gabby managed to put on a light pink oversized sweatshirt and black yoga pants before slipping into bed. As she sat down, she looked through her phone, coming across picture after picture of her and her dad, which caused nothing but tears for her.

For Gabby, tonight was going to be a difficult night of sleep.

Christian made his way to the spare room. He closed the door, and changed out of his dress clothes. He slipped into some shorts and a t-shirt. His tattoo showing under the sleeve slightly. He could hear Gabby's light sobs as he walked by, but figured she'd need some time.

He sighed, putting his things away. He knew this would be hard for her, and he hated that she would have to move. He lay down on the bed, and closed his eyes, eventually falling asleep.

He woke early in the morning, and stretched, before heading out for his early morning run. The sun was still down, and the streets still blanketed in darkness.

When the next morning came, Gabby woke up in her bed. Sitting up and stretching, the young girl rose from her bed, going straight into the bathroom to freshen up.

Brushing her teeth and then her hair, Gabby threw her hair in a bun, deciding to leave her pajamas on before walking down the stairs. It was really early in the morning, and she was a little annoyed that she woke up so early.

Once downstairs, Gabby made her way into the kitchen, settling on making breakfast. She didn't know if Christian was up or not, but she was going to start breakfast.

Christian ran his usual distance around the neighborhood. He made his way back to her place, just as the sun was rising up. He made his way inside, expecting her to still be asleep.

He stopped surprised to see her up, dressed in her pajamas, "morning Gabby,' he said lightly. He began untying his shoes, before making his way to the tap, to pour himself a glass of water.

He smiled at her, she was very cute. "How did you sleep Hun?" he asked

Gabby looked to Christian as he walked into the kitchen. "Morning." She spoke softly as she brought her attention back to the food she was making. She took a second to glance over to the man as he poured himself a glass of water.

She bite the bottom of her lip for a second, then brought her attention to the food once more. "I slept good." She whispered, lying, as she tried not to think about the restless night that she ended up having.

Christian nodded softly, "That smells really good Gabby," he said lightly. He moved over to the table sitting down, 'So what are your plans for today?" he asked. He began unbuttoning his shirt slowly, figuring he'd jump in for a quick shower, before breakfast.

He rose to his feet heading towards the doorway, "mind If I shower quickly?" he asked her.

"Thanks Christian." She smiled as she looked over to him. The moment she looked over to him, she was a little taken back by the sight of him with her shirt unbuttoned. "Oh gosh." She mumbled to herself.

When he asked if he could take a quick shower, she nodded. 'Uh, sure." She smiled.

Christian smiled softly, "thanks I'll be back down in a moment," he said. He left heading upstairs towards the bathroom. He finished stripping off in the bedroom, before wrapping a towel around himself and heading for the shower.

Gabby nodded proceeding with making breakfast.

A few minutes later, Gabby had breakfast on the plates and placed them on the table. She made coffee, pulled out the Orange Juice, and grabbed a few other things to put on the table.

As she waited for Christian to come back down, Gabby went through her phone, reading some old texts between her and her dad. Tears filled her eyes once more. How she really missed him.

Christian showered then got changed into clean clothes. He headed down to the kitchen again, noticing her tears. "Oh Gabby, I'm sorry," he said. He moved over to her and hugged her lightly.

"Breakfast looks really nice, and later we can go for a walk or something, take your mind off things," he said.

Gabby fell into his arms as he hugged her. "A walk would be nice." She whispered as she looked to the breakfast. "Lets eat." She whispered. She sat down and looked to him. "Sorry that I cried."

Christian smiled and held her tight, it had been awhile since he'd had proper physical contact. He relaxed, and stepped back, "don't worry about it, you lost your father, it's only natural," he said. He moved to the other side sitting down.

A endearing smile appeared on her face. "Thanks Christian." She said as she sat down at the table. She started to eat her breakfast, looking over to Christian from time to time.

Christian sat quietly eating, he occasionally looked up at her. "So Gabby, I have a meeting with a Lawyer about something later today, would you mind if we stopped by on our walk?" he asked her. He really did need to find out what the lawyer wanted to tell him.

"No, of course not." Gabby nodded before finishing up with eating. Once she was done, Gabby got up, placing her dishes in the sink. She then looked to Christian. "Let me go get dressed." she said softly.
