Derrick smiled an sat with her holding her hand gently. "I don't want you to worry about anything, I know this is a weird situation for you, having to marry a man you don't know," he said softly, 'so we can take this as slow as you need, I don't expect you to fall in love with me immediately," he added. He brushed a strand of her hair off her face "but please at least give it a chance to happen."

Alyssa smiled at him as she kept her hand in his. Her eyes met his once more as he brushed a piece of hair of her face. “I promise I’ll give it a chance” she said sweetly to him. The more she spent time with him the more she felt comfortable. Another question popped in her head, she wondered if he knew she was a virgin. “Do you know that I’m a Virgin?” She asked lightly as a light blush went acrossed her cheeks once more. That probably could have waited she thought to herself but it was too late. The words came of her mouth before she could stop them.

Derrick blushed lightly himself at the question. He nodded gently, "yes I am aware of that," he stated. He smiled softly at her, "and again you can stay that way as long as you want, basically I want you to feel free to do what ever you want, and take your time with everything," he mentioned. He looked up again when the car came to a stop. "Ah we've finally made it," he stated.

Alyssa felt relieved when he said that she could wait until she was ready for that. “Ok thank you” she said softly. She was also relieved that he didn’t seemed upset that she brought up sex. It was taboo where she was from for girls to talk about it. When the car stopped, she turned around a little to look out the window, causing her skirt to slid up a bit to her thighs. “That looks beautiful” she said. Her hand didn’t leave his as her eyes looked around outside, not realizing that her dress slid up.

Derricks eyes admittedly drifted to her legs as her dress slid up. "Thank you, I'm glad you like it," he replied. He let go of her hand and climbed out of the car. He offered her his hand again to aid her in climbing out of the vehicle. "Let me show you around Princess." He had decided to not mention her dress sliding up figuring it would embarrass her, if she knew he noticed. Smiling lightly as his assistant walked up, his assistant was a woman in her thirties she was happily married to another man, but was extremely well trusted by Derrick. "Ah Jenny, can you organise the bags to be taken to Alyssa's room, and maybe order in some food," he asked softly, she nodded and headed back inside.

[sorry though it posted my reply yesterday. I just got home. ]
Alyssa took his hand and got out, looking around at the grounds. It was a gorgeous manor. She followed him as he lead her to the house. Her attention went to Jen who she smiled politely at. Things didn’t seem so bad here. It could be a lot worse. She hoped that things would continue to go well and that he didn’t have hidden intentions. The truth was that even tho he seemed sweet and very handsome, it could be an act. Her friends made her paranoid in a way so that’s what she kept thinking about even tho the other part of her wanted to push that out.

Derrick walked with her inside as slow as she wanted, leaving her to look around at the view as much as she wanted. Once inside he stopped "welcome to my home, Princess," he announced, "what should I call you by the way? do you prefer Princess or Alyssa?" he asked. He stepped forward again, leading her towards the bedroom she'd be staying in, he had put her in a room a reasonable distance from his own, and hoped she'd like what he'd done with it.

Alyssa followed him inside as her blue continued to wander around the room. She then looked at him when he spoke. “Whichever you prefer” she said softly. She would answer to either one of them. A smile appeared on her face when he lead her to her bedroom. “It’s beautiful I like it” she said softly before walking in more. There was something she was hiding from Derrick tho, she didn’t want to tell him because she didn’t want him to think she was childish. She never slept alone due to the fact she had nightmares that plagued her mind when she slept. Nothing helped other than having someone sleep with. She bit her lip as she looked over at the bed, unsure what to do.

Derrick nodded softly, "I'm glad you like it Alyssa, if you need anything that's not here just ask Jenny, or myself, and we'll sort it out," he said lightly. He had been told she was peculiar about sleep, but hadn't been given the details, he hoped that she'd let him know if anything was wrong. He stepped into the room, "there are plenty of books to read, and the laptop is all connected to the internet for you," he explained. He showed her that a bathroom was attached to the room. He smiled softly at her, "anything you need?" he asked

Alyssa turned around and looked at him when he spoke. She listened to him, nodding to show that she understood. There was a lot for her to do in this room and it was so nice. “Thank you so much for everything” she said sweetly to him. She then thought about telling him about her nightmares, figuring that she should atleast warn him so he doesn’t freak out when it does happen. “I have a hard time sleeping alone. I get really bad nightmares when I sleep. I know it’s childish” she said softly before looking down.

Derrick smiled lightly, "oh I see, we'll figure something out" he said thinking of solutions. He paced the room, he had already promised he wouldn't for her to share his bed until she was ready, besides it wasn't really appropriate until they were married. He looked at her lightly, "Does it have to be another person?" he asked softly. He had never really had a pet before, what with all the travel he did it never seemed practical. He looked up as the driver brought in her bags, and set them down, "Would you prepare the other car please, then take a few days off, we might take a drive," he asked lightly before turning back to Alyssa.

Alyssa watched him as he paced, hoping that she didn’t upset him. “I don’t think so. I haven’t tried anything else but I am willing to” she said. She didn’t want him to think that she was a child. She bit her lip before she looked back down at the ground again, wondering what he was thinking about. There was part of her that didn’t want to disappoint him.

Derrick smiled when she said she was willing to try something else. He stopped pacing stepping over to her and lifting her head, he looked her in the eyes, "How are you with dogs?" he asked her. He had been thinking of getting her a pet of some sort at some stage anyway, and if this would help her not have nightmares and be more comfortable sleeping away from home, it was a win/win.

Alyssa kept looking down at the ground. She was a little surprised when he lifted her head. “I like dogs. I think they are cute” she said with a smile on her face. Her blue eyes met with his brown eyes. “Do you think a dog might help?” She then softly. She felt relieved that she didn’t seem to be upset with her. “

Derrick smiled softly, "Worth a try don't you think?" he noted softly. He stepped back, 'We can go pick one out for you," he suggested. He made his way to the door, "I'll leave you to explore your room, change or whatever and come get you in thirty minutes?" he asked her. He would give her longer if she asked for it. He also wanted to change himself now that he didn't have to dress formally. He wanted to change out of his suit and into jeans and a shirt.

Alyssa smiled and nodded. “Okay sounds good” she said to him. Thirty minutes would give her enough time to change into more comfortable clothes. Once he left the room, she went through the clothes and picked out an outfit. It was a pair of high waisted jeans and a crop top. Once she was dressed, she looked into the mirror to make sure her make up still look alright before putting her her hair up in a bun. She then sat on the bed and waited for Derrick to come back.

Derrick left her to it and headed to his own bedroom to change into more comfortable clothes himself. He quietly thought to himself that he made a decent first impression on her. He also noted to himself what a lucky man he was to be marrying such a beautiful young girl, the impression he'd had of her honestly did not do her justice. He decided to look up options for where they could get a dog from, he debated whether he should go to a pet store, or a rescue, he decided that a rescue would be the way to go, but he'd ask Alyssa's opinion. After the time had passed he made his way back to her room. He gently knocked on the door.

Alyssa relaxed on the bed as she waited, playing on her new phone. She then got up when she heard a knock and opened the door. “Hey” she said smiling softly as she slipped on her converse. “I’m ready when you are” she then added. He looks handsome even regular clothes, she caught herself thinking.

Derrick caught himself smiling brightly again. He approved her outfit choice, she looked good and it wasn't too revealing. "Okay awesome, so I thought I'd leave it up to you, do you want to head to a pet store or a shelter first?" he asked her softly. He walked with her back towards the front door. His driver would of brought his personal car around for him, because he felt like driving himself. He offered her his arm if she wanted to hold onto it.

Alyssa smiled as she walked out of her room. “Shelter first” she said as she began to walk with him downstairs and to the entrance. Once he offered her his arm, she took it and walked outside with him. She was slowly feeling the doubt about Derrick leave her mind.
