Vic laughed a little, "This early...Walt, Cady is the perfect age to be having kids. She's like my age." She said with a good point as she kissed him softly on the lips. She then looked to him and nodded, "You have every right to be excited." She gigled.

Branch looked up at Ferg when he heard him as him what was going on. Should he tell him? Branch thought about it for a moment, then decided yes. "Well Ferg, I just received some amazing news today." He said with a bright smile. "Cady is pregnant!" He grinned from ear to ear.

“Point taken.” Walt looked at Vic smiling. “I get it.” Walt laughed slightly. “Since we got the files done, want to head back to my place, freshen up and go out?” Walt questioned Vic smiling at her. “Looks like a slow day anyways. Ferg said that call was a joke.” Walt sighed a little.

Ferg heard Branch and chuckled at how excited he was. “Branch, man that is amazing. Congratulations.” Ferg said patting his shoulder as he drove them back to town after their call was a true joke by some punk ass kids.

Vic thought about it for a second, "Mmm....sure." She said with a cheer smile. She got up from Walt's desk, moving a little closer to him. "Where would you like to go out to?" She asked out of pure curiosity as she wrapped her arms around Walt's neck.

Branch smiled, "Thanks Ferg. I'm really looking forward to this." HE said as he walked back to the car with the young deputy. He laughed lightly, nodding to Ferg, agreeing that the phone call they had was a definite joke. When they got back to the office, he walked in, watching Walt and Vic has they spoke closer together in Walt's office. He looked to Ferg, "Your thoughts about them?" He asked.

Walt held her close and smiled, "I am not sure. Maybe to the city and do something together? Then come back to my place and spend a little alone time with one another." Walt smiled.

Ferg shook his head a little bit, “I don’t know. I mean if their happy it’s cool. But then again.” He shrugged his shoulders. “What’s it my business?” Ferg looked at Branch smiling.

“Hey you two.” Walt smiled walking out. “Another slow day so take it off and enjoy the day.” Walt said holding to Vic’s hand as they walked out of the office.

“If he keeps this up, I wouldn’t mind.” Ferg laughed. “I got my radio in case something actually happens.” Ferg told Branch before heading out.

Vic smiled at his ideas, "I love each of every one of those." She spoke as she grabbed her things. She started to head out with Walt, looking to Ferg and Branch. "See you tomorrow guys." She said with a bright smile and a cute little wink. Once they were outside, Vic looked over to Walt and smiled again. "I love this idea of leaving early." She said with a small laugh.

Branch nodded to Walt and Vic as they walked out the door. Looking over to Ferg, the man chuckled. "Hey, leaving early like this...it's perfect and you know it Ferg." He said with a bright smile. He then walked out to his car, getting in. He decided to text Cady and tell him that he was out of work early, then drove to his house. He had some things around his place that he could do since he got off work early.

Walt smiled at Vic as he took and chuckled. "I love it as well." Walt smiled at her.

Cady had gotten home as she saw the text from Branch. Smiling to herself she replied back. I just got home. I'm wore out and thinking of napping. She kicked her heels off and laid on her sofa and before long she was fast asleep.

Vic giggled like a little school girl. She got into Walt's truck, putting her seatbelt on. What was she going to wear? What could they do together this evening in the city? She looked to Walt, "Where were you thinking for dinner?" She then asked, trying to figure out what she was going to wear.

Branch was busy doing yard work, so he didn't see Cady's text right away. However, he did stop and check it when he went inside to get a drink of water. Smiling at his unread text, Branch put his phone down. He figured he would text Cady or call Cady later to see if she wanted dinner or anything. Going back to his yard work, Branch continued to remain busy.

Walt glanced at her from driving, “Maybe that new steak house they opened up. I hear their food is delicious. I have been wanting to try it out.” Walt smiled driving down the dirt road that led to his house.

After a long nap, Cady slowly began working around her house. She took and doing what she needed. Deciding on driving up to Branch’s. She made her way up there. When she arrived, she saw him doing yard work and smiled. Getting out of her car she walked towards him smiling.

Vic smiled brightly, "I love that idea. Sounds like a great plan. This helps me figure out what to wear." She said with a small laugh. She then looked out the window, just admiring the beauty of nature around them.

Branch had kept doing yard work, getting lost in the day and time. As he kept working, he heard a car door open and close. Looking behind him, Branch smiled seeing it was Cady. "Well hello darling." He chuckled as he got off the ground, moving over to her. He kissed her quickly and softly on the lips, before wiping the sweat off his face. "Have a good nap?"

Walt smiled, “Whatever you wear baby.” Walt told her pausing a second as he pulled into the drive. “You will be the most beautiful woman in the whole wide world.” Walt smiled at her.

Cady shrugged, “I did.” Cady smiled at him. “Working hard? You look like you need some good home cooking, and something to drink.” Cady smiled as she stared at Branch.

Vic smiled, blushing a little. "Walt, you're such a charmer." She laughed lightly as she looked to see that they were at this house. When Walt parked, Vic jumped out of the truck, walking to the front door with him. "This is so exciting." She said with a bright smile.

Branch chuckled a little, "I love that idea." He winked as he went back to pulling some weeds out of the flower bed. "Getting your home cooking is definitely heaven." He grinned as he leaned back to stretch for a moment.

Chuckling at how excited Vic was, he smiled. He opened the door for her and went to get clean up. He couldn’t wait for their date out of this town, so they could be alone and together without anyone interrupting.

Cady smiled kissing his lips lightly, “Good.” She smiled walking inside of his house. She got busy on making him some home made lasagna and garlic bread. She took and felt the uneasiness hit her as she took and ran for the bathroom emptying her stomach out. She held to her stomach a moment before cleaning her mouth out and going back to doing her cooking.

Vic was super excited about this, having time like this with Walt was exactly what she felt they needed and wanted. She quickly got cleaned up for their date. When they finished getting ready, Vic stepped out of the room, waiting on Walt. She could feel the excitement running through her veins as she sat on the couch.

When Branch was all finished outside, he walked inside. Smiling at Cady from the kitchen, he took a moment to admire her. "Honey, I'm going to go take a shower real quick." He called to her as he started heading towards his bedroom. He turned on the shower, quickly getting undressed to get in. The water felt nice, and he knew that this was just the start to a perfect night with Cady.

Smiling to himself, Walt took and walked downstairs seeing Vic on the sofa. Smiling to her, he took and admired her a second. "You are gorgeous, Vic." Walt told her before offering his hand to her. "Shall we?" He smiled.

Cady smiled hearing Branch. Once she had everything done she heard him upstairs showering. She took and smiled as she went about fixing their plates before moving to the table and placing them. Getting him a beer, she got her some water. Walking over to the table she sat down waiting on her boyfriend.

Vic smiled at the older man, nodding when he asked if they shall. She was really looking forward to this night and couldn't remember the last time she felt this way, especially when it came to a date. Taking Walt's hand, Victoria followed him to his truck.

Branch quickly showered before making his way into his bedroom, where he quickly put on a pair of jeans and no shirt. He figured right now, he could just enjoy some delicious food and quality time with his girlfriend. Walking down the hall and into the kitchen, Branch took a second to look at Cady, admiring her beauty. Even though it had only been a few hours or so since she shared the news, Branch felt like Cady was already glowing. "So, what do we have here?" He smirked.

Walt helped her up into the truck and smiled at her. He took and held kissed her before getting in on his side. Starting the truck up he pulled out heading for the city so they could spend the night together.

Cady looked up at Branch and admired her boyfriend without a shirt and just in his jeans. Smiling, "Baked beans, fried chicken, and mashed potatoes." Cady smiled as she finished the little bit of food she had left. She took and sat it on the island and smiled at Branch, "There you go baby." She smiled handing him a plate she'd already made for him.

Vic was a little taken by the kiss from Walt, but wasn't complaining about it one bit. She was definitely going to make this one of the best nights ever. When they got to the city, Vic looked to Walt and just smiled. "So where are we going for dinner?" She asked.

Branch grinned brightly at his girlfriend. "You my dear, know how to spoil this man." He chuckled, leaning over to kiss her. "thank you so much for this." he added as he put a hand on her cheek. He took a sip of his drink then took his first bite. "Oh baby, this is SO good." He moaned with a bright smile.

Walt smiled at her, "One of the best of the steak houses around here." Walt grinned at her. He took and got out once he parked. He helped her out and smiled at her as he took and walked inside with her.

Cady smiled at Branch, "I am glad it's good." Cady smiled at her boyfriend as she took and began eating her own food and sipping on her tea.

"yes, I agree." Vic said with a schoolgirl smile on her face. She felt like she was back in high school, finally getting to date her high school crush. Watching Walt once they sat down at the table, Vic just blushed.

Branch watched Cady in awe for a moment, then kissed her softly before eating his own food. "This is delicious." He said with much enjoyment.
