Longmire

Cady frowned staring between the two men. "I knew it." Cady whispered sighing hugging herself. "Ok I am going to work." Cady said storming out of the building. It didn't take her long to get to the office as she walked inside her own and began working on a case she had to review and do in a few days.

Walt sighed narrowing his eyes at Branch before walking out. Seeing Vic, Walt smiled. "So anything interesting we need to look over?" Walt asked.

Branch was still thinking about the news that Cady just shared with him. He sat at his desk, trying to register this and also trying to avoid Walt. He wasn't really sure what his boss and girlfriend's father would say, and at the moment he wasn't really sure if he wanted to find out just yet.

Vic looked over at Walt, smiling when he was smiling. "We just have some case files to follow up on." She said as she leaned against his desk. "And I figured we could work on those together." She winked. "What do you say? Let Ferg and Branch take on any emergency call-ins today while we stay here at the office...alone."

"On one of those calls, I hope Branch gets ran over." Walt sighed holding Vic tightly. "That sounds really good to me, baby." Walt smiled leaning in and kissing her lips softly. "I am glad we're together and I don't care who likes it or don't. I want everyone to know." He smiled.

Vic frowned a little, "Walt, I know you don't mean that." She said before kissing him. She then smiled as they pulled away, loving the fact that Walt didn't care people thought, that he was glad that they were together. "What are you going to go shout it from the rooftops." She teased him.

"Don't tempt me." Walt laughed. "Bring the files into my office and we'll begin working on them." Walt smiled kissing her one more time. "Make it right with my daughter, Branch." Walt warned disappearing into his office.

Branch couldn't help but feel awful when Walt spoke to him. He wasn't sure how to feel, considering he was surprised about everything. He just nodded to Walt's words, then pulled out his phone. He quickly text Cady. Honey, we need to talk...please. He then put his phone down, wanting for her to reply...hoping that she would reply.

When Walt returned to his office, Vic just smiled. "You look amazing." She said with a wink. "I enjoy waiting you walk through the door and just getting a chance to admire you." She laughed.

Walt grinned at Vic, "You do, do you?" He smiled walking over and leaning in kissing her lips. "I love to see you standing at my desk waiting. So I can admire you." Walt smiled kissing her lips softly.

Hearing her phone go off, Cady looked at the message from Branch. Sighing softly she took and shook her head. She knew he was surprised by the information she was as well. But it was something she'd always wanted. What? She replied laying her phone down working on the case she had. She knew she had to go back to the station to talk to her dad about a warrant for this child's home.

Vic laughed lightly with a small smile. "Well sounds like we are made for each other." She giggled and kissed him softly on the lips. "Shall we get started on those files?" She asked softly. Quickly kissing him on the lips, she pulled back.

Branch frowned, looking at the text. I think we should talk. He replied, then put his phone down only to pick it up again. I think it's important that we talk. He then replied. He set his phone down once more, then looked to Ferg. "Where did Vic go?" He then asked.

Walt grinned at her, "That we are." Walt told her and smiled kissing her lips. He sat down opening the files up and began working along side Vic with them. Doing what he needed he hoped for the best for his daughter.

Cady sighed walking into the station as she saw Branch frowning. She walked over to him crossing her arms. "We can talk as soon as I get dad to sign off doing a warrant for me." Cady told Branch. Making her way to his office she gave him the information seeing him going to get the warrant and everything. Walking back out she looked at Branch, "Let's talk." Cady said sitting down.

Vic started working with Walt on the files when she heard Cady knock on the door then walk in. She gave the young red haired a small hello, then turned her attention back to her paperwork, letting Walt have a moment to help his daughter out with whatever it was work wise. As Walt did his thing, Vic started to drive a little deeper into the paperwork. Once he had things squared away from Cady, Vic looked to Walt and smiled once more. "Sheriff Longmire, I need you to sign a couple of things." She said, batting her long eyelashes.

Branch remained sitting at his desk when he heard Cady walked in. He just nodded at her words, letting her take care of whatever it was she needed with a warrant from her father. He waited patiently for her to return, hoping that they would be able to talk. When Cady walked over to say lets talk, Branch looked to Ferg. "Ferg, I'll be back in a bit." He said before getting up from his desk to walk with Cady out of the Sheriff's Office. "Cady, I'm sorry." He started off.

Walt took and smiled at Vic. "What do I get if I sign them?" Walt teased her and smiled at her kissing her lips. He took and signed the things she needed and smiled at her.

Cady looked at him, "I forgive you." Cady whispered walking with Branch.

"Oh I am sure we can figure something out." She winked as she slide the papers closer to him. She smiled brighter when his lips captivated hers into a kiss. She slowly pulled back, looking down at the papers. "Can you sign this now?" She asked softly.

Branch looked at her. "I am really excited about this baby....I was just shocked." He said. He looked at her, grabbing her hands. "Cady, I want to spend the rest of my life with you...and this baby is going to be amazing." He said as he looked at her.

Walt chuckled a little bit before nodding his head to Vic. He grabbed his pen signing the paper she’d asked. “There you go.” Walt told her looking at her. “How many more files do we got?” Walt questioned hearing the phone ring knowing a call must have come through.

Cady looked at Branch holding his hands. A smile formed into her lips staring at him. “I am just as shocked as you. I am scared, nervous.” Cady whispered. “What if I am not a good mom?” She looked at him feeling her nerves getting her. “I know you’re going to be one protective dad.” She smiled leaning in kissing his lips softly. “I love you Branch.” She whispered to him.

Vic smiled at Walt, looking at the small pile of folders. She quickly counted them then looked back at the older sheriff, "There's about 10 files left." She said as she heard the phone ringing. She didn't move, figuring that Ferg would answer it. She went back to review the case files, then handed a couple of more folders to Walt for him to look over then sign. "So...." She said, wondering what could possible be on the Old Sheriff's mind.

Branch looked at her, wrapping his arms around her even more. "Cady, you are going to be a wonderful mom." He reassured her as he brought his lips to hers, gently capturing her lips in a soft kiss. When they pulled back, Branch couldn't help but smile at Cady's words about him being a protective dad. "That's damn right." He said with a light laugh. "Especially if it's a girl." He chuckled as he kept his arms around her waist. "I love you too, Cady Longmire." He whispered.

Looking over at Vic he rose an eyebrow in her direction. “Yes?” Walt questioned her. He lent over kissing her lips lightly wondering what was going through her mind. He couldn’t help but to adore her.

Cady smiled at him cupping his cheek. She lent in kissing his lips lightly. Hearing Ferg running at them. “Branch we got a call. Walt said we had to take them.” Ferg said.

“I better let you go. You better be safe.” She warned him kissing him one more time before letting him go do his job.

Vic couldn't help but giggle a little when Walt kissed her once more. "Just curious as to what was on your mind." She whispered as she brushed some hair of hers out of her face. She didn't dare stop looking at Walt though.

Branch kissed Cady once more then winked at her. "I'll see you later, Mama." He chuckled as then walked off with Ferg to go handle the call that Walt assigned for them to take care of.

Walt smiled, “Cady told me she’s having a baby.” Walt admitted. “Branch wasn’t as thrilled as I would want him to be. But he is making things right. I just worry about my little girl.” Walt told her kissing her head. “But it’s ok now.” He told Vic.

Cady giggled watching them leave. She started back across the street. She made her way to her office and walked inside. Getting back to work on her case a smile crept onto her lips.

Vic was a little taken back by Walt's announcement about Cady, yet at the same time she wasn't. Looking to Walt, Vic took in the information in as she listened to Walt's reasoning behind his feeling on this. "And you have every right to be." She reassured him with a sweet smile. She then stared at him for a moment, laughing lightly. "You know...this means you're going to be a Grandpa...isn't that exciting?" She laughed with a sweet smile.

Branch smiled as he thought about the news that Cady gave to him. The more he thought about it, the more he was getting excited about becoming a father. Man, he was ready to shout it to the whole world, but knew that was not the best thing to do. He reached for his phone while Ferg drove, texting Cady. "I love you Cady Longmire." He text grinning.

Walt stared at her a second and shook his head. "I know." Walt told her. "I never thought that my daughter would be having a child this early. But...I am kind of excited." Walt smiled at Vic. Walt held her close and kissed her lips lightly smiling.

Cady saw the text and smiled. "I love you too Branch. So much!" She replied back smiling. She took and went back to working on her case files and placing them in the right files that she needed them to be in.

Ferg took and saw Branch so happy and wondered what was going on. "Branch what's going on?" Ferg asked him smiling at his friend.
