Abby looked at him, "I'm going to take a shower. I will be back." She said, smiling a little at him. She walked back to the bedroom and got her clothes she wanted to wear to bed then went to the bathroom.
Mitch nodded watching her closely as she left. He continued cleaning his gun and reassembled it before putting it away again. He headed into the bedroom afterwards waiting for her to get out of the shower.
Abby shrugged, "I was just wondering." She said as she looked at him. She was glad that they were going to get to go surfing tomorrow. "I guess we will have to by your place to get some of your stuff for tomorrow." She said.
Abby looked at him, "Don't you need to get your surf board?" She asked as she laced her fingers with his. She knew he was avoiding going back to his house because it reminded him too much of his wife.
Mitch sighed softly and pulled back, "I suppose we should make a trip, pick up somethings," he admitted softly. He was finding it strange ever since they'd gotten back.
Abby nodded and got changed into a pair of black leggings and a shirt. She put her flip flops on then grabbed her keys. "Okay." She said as she took his hand. She walked with him to her car, then drove to his house. She got out with him, walking with him to the front door. She walked in with him, watching as he flipped on the lights. She waited for him in the living room, looking around at the pictures. She smiled at the ones of Mitch with his wife. He looked like a completely different person.
Mitch made his way around his place and packed up a few more things. He headed out into the garage and found his surfboard, propped up behind a stack of old boxes. He gathered everything then headed back out to the living room, "how are you feeling?" he asked her
Abby turned to looked at him, "I'm fine." She said, smiling. "Do you have everything?" She asked as she sat on his couch. She could tell by the way he stood there that he didn't want to stay long.
Mitch smiled softly "yeah I have everything," he admitted to her. He just wanted to leave this place, it hurt him too much seeing his wife around this place. "Can we go please?" he asked her
Abby nodded, "Sure." She said, getting up. She walked out with him, waiting for him to lock the door, then walked to the car, climbing inside while he got his stufd put in. Abby bit her bottom lip lightly as she waited for him.
Mitch placed his surfboard on top of her car and put the rest of his things in the back seat. He climbed in next to her, "Thank you for coming with me," he said softly.
Abby looked over at him, "No problem." She said. She stopped before starting the car. "Um..Mitch." She said, looking at him. "If you can't stand to be in there for a few minutes then what are you going to do with the house?" She asked him. She was hoping he wouldn't get upset for her asking.
Mitch looked at her lightly, "I'll keep it for now, maybe figure it out in time," he said softly. He took her hand in his lightly, "now could we make our way back to yours please," he asked
Abby nodded, "Yea we can." She said. She drove to her house then got out of the car. She walked into the house and looked at him. "I am going to go get ready." She said, smiling. She kissed him then went to gk get changed.
