My Demons. [closed]

Mitch was silent, still in shock, and unsure of what was going to happen to him.

@ Gunslinger;

Abby smiled, "You are going to be okay." She said. She drove to the hospital then got out with him. Abby walked to the front desk and checked Mitch in, filling out the papers. She didn't want him to have to sit out in the waiting room with everyone. She knew he was not doing well with the public.

Mitch stuck beside her, silent and scanning the room. He was uncomfortable and it showed.

@ Gunslinger;

Abby finished then looked at Mitch, "Let's go." She said, smiling at him. She walked him back to the room he would be in, then looked at him. "You need to fill this out." She said, handing him the clip board.

Mitch took the board and looked at it. He began filling it out not sure why she was so relaxed. "How are you so comfortable here?" he asked

Abby shrugged, "I spent a lot of my time here for work." she said as she sat next to him.

Mitch sighed watching her, "Will I get better?" he asked lightly. He pulled her towards him, needing her close.

@ Gunslinger;

Abby nodded, "Yes you will. You just have to do what I say." She said. She looked at him, "I am going to look into getting you some meds. Nothing too serious, just something to calm you down." She said. She took the clip board from him when he was done. "I will be right back." She said. She got up and walked out of the room, going to turn in his paper work and put in the orders for him.

Mitch curled up on the bed, worried once she left the room. He was concerned she'd leave him here all alone.

Abby came back to Mitch and sat on the bed near him. She looked at him, "Here." She said, handing him the medicine and a cup of water.

Mitch nodded lightly and took the medicine. He sat back, "lay with me?" he asked her.

Abby smiled, "Sure." She said. She laid down with him and relaxed. She knew the medicine would help him get some rest.

Mitch relaxed with her and slowly faded into a light sleep.

Abby laid next to him, thinking about what she was gonna do. She knew he would want her to treat him, but she knew she couldnt because they were together.

Mitch struggled to sleep soundly, his dreams extremely stressful. He remained still and breathing softly though, the drugs having zonked him out fairly successfully.

Abby got out of the bed after awhile then walked out of the room to go talk to one of the other doctors about what they needed to do for Mitch. She wrote him up some meds for during the day and of course the one she gave him at night. She was worried about him.

Mitch remained out for the rest of the night. He groaned awake at around 8 the next morning looking for Abby.

Abby had eaten her breakfast and was talking to one of the nurses when Mitch woke up. She looked up, seeing him coming out of the room. She walked to him, "What's wrong?" She asked him.

Mitch looked at her, "I was looking for you," he admitted softly.

@ Gunslinger;

Abby smiled, "Okay well why don't we go in and sit." She suggested. She walked in with him, "I have been up all night thinking about a way to help you." She said. "I am starting you on a new set of meds today. So you will take one in the morning and one at night like what you had last night. On friday I set you up an appointment to see doctor Kerns. Is that okay?" She asked him.
