(I'm so sorry I had to go do a couple of things and they took longer than I had expected.)

Gwen gave her a smile seeing that she seemed much nicer than her husband. She was still on her guard not knowing whether to trust it. She gave a nod and murmured, "I was going to tell you your dress was pretty last night, but well, the whole situation was just probably not the right time." She tried to explain surprised when she told her she should come by the house. "I don't want to make anyone upset." She murmured meaning Danny more than anything. She bit down on her lip.

Danny nodded before sighing, "The thing is, I did some of my own investigating. I couldn't find a damn thing." He said knowing he had a lot more pull than Dimitri in some aspects. He then nodded. "That would probably be best. I don't think it's the Serpents this time, though. Something feels...off about the whole fucking thing." He told him knowing he was probably the only person besides Nova he showed his deeper feelings to.

Nova smiled, "Danny won't be home." She said. She knew that the girl was worried about her husband. "Don't worry if he shows up he is more afraid of me than anyone else." She joked. She waited til she got what she needed then went to her car with her getting in. "So what made you wanna hang around with Dimitri?" She asked as she drove towards her house. She was just having her other friend meet her there.

Dimitri thought for a moment, "You don't think that the cops would just being trying to fuck with us to try to get more of us out there would you?" He asked. It wasn't unlikely that they police were doing that. They had tried it before and it never worked.

Gwen blinked but couldn't help but laugh at her words giving her a small smile but nodded. "Alright, then I suppose since you asked." She murmured walking with her towards the car. She got into the passenger side buckling up before laughing. "He was just interesting. I suppose it helped that he was nice. I don't usually meet a lot of nice people." She shrugged. "Though, I'm not sure. Some people I guess we just are drawn to." She laughed. "I'm sorry, I probably sound silly."

Danny shook his head gently. "I'm almost positive it's not them. They wouldn't be as discreet about the whole thing." He rolled his eyes. "Plus, they don't that much finesse." He joked smiling softly before he leaned back in his chair. "I'm not sure. I just know they're cutting into money and fucking with our operations." He met Dimitri's eyes a small smirk coming onto his face. "And what do we do with problems?" He questioned.

Nova smiled, "No I get it. Dimitri is probably one of the nicer guys actually." She said. She parked her car in front of the house, then got out, grabbing her bags. She walked inside, "Just make yourself at home. I will be right back." She said. She walked up the stairs and went to her bedroom, setting the stuff on the bed. She walked downstairs after she texted Peyton. She smiled at Gwen, "Peyton will be here soon." She said. "You want a glass of wine?" She asked as she walked into the kitchen, grabbing a bottle from the wine fridge that was under the sink. She opened it, pouring herself a glass.

Dimitri smirked, "Eliminate them." He said, getting up. "I'll take care of it." He said. He looked at Danny, "I will give you a call once I take care of the issue." He said before leaving. He knew they probably had a rat that was working for the other gang and he was going to have to make sure that he didn't exist anymore. He hated having to do the dirty work, but it had to be done.

Gwen smiled softly nodding in agreement. "That he is." She murmured softly before she got out walking with her inside. She looked around the house again smiling. "Alright." She replied sitting down on the couch. She looked up and said, "I'm going to guess that's one of your friends?" She questioned giving her a smile. She shook her head. "No thank you. If I drink wine I get queasy. But for some reason Tequila and vodka are just fine on my stomach. It's very odd." She told her sitting at the bar since she was there. "Thank you for having me over, by the way. And your house is beautiful." She commented looking around at the architecture with a smile.

Danny laughed nodding. "Damn right." He told him. He sighed nodding. "Sorry you get all the dirty shit." He called before he looked down at the paperwork groaning knowing he just didn't want to deal with it. He had a gang. Why the fuck was paperwork necessary? He looked up seeing one of his guys come in and informed him of another shipment that had just been lost. "Goddammit!" He said waving the guy away.

[Well I figured if you preferred any certain kind of pairings we could figure that out and I can just come up with a plot I'm feeling creative today.]

Nova smiled, "I have tequila." She said, pulling out a bottle. "The real question is what kind of drink do you want?" She said, laughing. She took a sip of her wine, nodding when she talked about the house. "Thank you." She said. She looked over as Peyton walked in, "Hey." She said. "Gwen this is Peyton. Peyton this is Gwen." She said. Peyton smiled at Gwen, "Oh I know who you are. You made Danny have a meltdown last night." She said, laughing.

Dimitri left the warehouse and headed to the port. He sighed as he got out and found a good place to hide. He sat down out of side, scanning the area. When he found the guy he was looking for he came out and threatened him. He knocked him out and decided that Danny should get to speak to the asshole first. He threw the guy in his trunk after he tied him up then drove back to the warehouse. He drug the guy in, smirking at Danny who had just walked out of his office, "I brought you a gift." He said, chuckling.

Gwen laughed smiling back at her. "I was mainly joking. I don't think I should get tipsy today, but I appreciate the offer." She let her know. "You're welcome." She replied giving her a sweet smile. She looked up seeing Peyton before she gave a nod. "Hi." Hearing her, she sighed softly and before replying, "It's not my fault. We don't get to pick our families." She murmured softly more to herself than anything else.

Danny was in the middle of his paper work looking up hearing grunting. He raised an eyebrow before breaking out into a grin seeing Dimitri with someone. He said, "Oh? What's this then?" He asked looking down at the guy who lunged at him. He swiftly brought his elbow down into the guy's nose. "Don't make this worse on yourself. I don't suggest pissing me off." He told him before seeing that they guy didn't quite recognize him. He laughed before saying, "I don't think this kid knows that I'm Danny Jackson." He saw fear immediately come onto the guy's face. "Oh. So you've heard of me?"

Nova smiled, "This is very true." She said. "Come on let's go sit by the pool. I hate sitting inside." She said. She grabbed the bottle of wine then walked out to the pool area and sat at one of the tables near the pool. She looked at Gwen, "So do you live with your father?" She asked her. She was curious to know more about her and how she lived. Mostly she was digging for dirt on her dad, but she also wanted to get to know her. She was glad that they were able to relax by the pool for the day.

Dimitri chuckled as he watched the guy's face. "I figured you would want to deal with him." He said, smirking. He knew that stealing from Danny was the worst thing a person could do. Dimitri watched as the guy tried to scoot away from Danny. "Where are you going? We were just starting to have fun." He said as he pulled him back to their original spot. He laughed as the guys started begging for his life. "Dude we haven't even threatened you yet." He said, chuckling.

Gwen smiled before giving her a nod. She went out looking around and murmured, "It's beautiful." She walked over and sat down at the table. Hearing her question she smiled, "I did. I just moved into an apartment." She replied not wanting to bring Dimitri into the conversation not knowing if he would get in trouble or not. She would rather be caught lying than have Dimitri's name come up in the first place.

Danny nodded clapping him on the shoulder. "Oh yes." He grinned at him before laughing at the guy. He said, "He's heard of my reputation for not keeping people alive very long." The guy tried to scoot back. Danny brought out his switch blade lightly dragging it over his face. "Now. Who the fuck is stealing from me? And why? Maybe if you comply, I'll let you live." He knew he wouldn't but it usually got more information out of people.

Nova nodded, "Well at least you have that going for you." She said, laughing softly. Nova took a sip of her drink then relaxed in the chair. "What do you do for a living?" She asked. She was sure the girl had some kind of job. "I bet you have a job your dad hates." She teased.

Tommy looked at Danny as he felt the blade run over his face. "It's Xander man. Look i dont know anything. He just tells me a time and place." He said, his eyes glancing back an forth between the guys. "Please dont kill me." He begged.

Dimitri chuckled, "It amazes me how much they beg when they get caught." He said, laughing.

Tommy looked at Danny, "He said he's coming after your girl." He said when he noticed Danny was about to kill him. "Nova right?" He whispered.

Dimitri seen the rage grow in Danny's eyes.

Tommy swallowed hard, "I don't know what his plan was but I overheard him saying she would be good leverage." He said.

Gwen laughed and nodded. "Yeah, I love my dad, but he is an asshole." She murmrued sofly. Hearing her question, she gave her a smile. "I dance. Got a full ride scholarship from it to the university." She told her. "My dad would rather I be a doctor or a lawyer like him. He doesn't understand it. He saw more as a hobby more than my passion." She explaiend.

Danny listened to him before his eyes darkened. He gave him more motivation to speak by cutting into his cheek. "Speak." He growled. "New plan. Go back to Xander. You do as I say, I really won't kill you. I need you to tell me his schedule and all of his shit." He looked back at Dimitri. "Get the information. I'm going to go get Nova." He tossed him the knife directly over Tommy's face. He headed to his house worried for his wife. He went into the house, not bothering to close the doors. He called out for Nova before he went upstairs and downstairs not finding her there. He saw her car was there and then went out back seeing her. He sighed sweeping her into his arms and murmured, "It's not safe for you." He frowned before looking over seeing Gwen confusion covering his features before he looked back at Nova.

Nova smiled, "I knew it." She said. She looked over as Danny came towards them. He wasnt suppose to be home yet. She was more surprised when he pulled her into his arms. "Danny what you talking around?" She asked, slowly pulled away from him. She took notice to the blood on his hand and shirt, "Danny, what's going on?" She asked him. She could tell he was freaked out and he never acted this way.

Dimitri smirked at Tommy, "You report back to us as soon as possible. Or I will tell Danny about your precious family." He said. He watched as he got up and ran off. He sighed, thinking about how bad this could all go. He texted Danny, Why dont you bring Nova to my place? She can hang out there til this blows over.

Gwen chuckled giving her a nod. She looked over hearing Danny and was immediately worried about him and Dimitri. She noticed he looked fine before asking her own question. "Is Dimitri okay?" She frowned softly, biting her lip worriedly. She ran a hand throughout her hair. She heard that he was taking her back to Dimitri's apartment after checking his phone and sighed. "I can take her there, if you want." She could see he was freaked out and she knew she should probably get back anyways.

Danny sighed just holding on to her glad that she was okay. He lookoed down at her. "Some guy was stealing from us. The gang. So I had Dimitri go find the rat. Well, he did and he squealed like a pig without me even having to cut him. He mentioned your name and his boss using you as leverage and he didn't want to say anything else so I pressed the blade into his face and he squealed again and said they were going to get you. I can't have that. For two obvious reasons." He murmured looking at her gently. He looked at his text blinking hearing Gwen. "He's fine." He said frowning at her but was more concerned with Nova than his vendetta against Mr. Vanderbilt. He told Nova she was staying with Dimitri for a little bit until he found the motherfucker. Hearing Gwen, he was surprised that she was going to help him even though he had threatened to kill her last night. "Yes. I have to get back." He murmured before leaning down and kissing Nova knowing he had apologized about their lifestyle far more times than he could count for this very reason.

Nova looked at him, shaking her head when he said about going to Dimitri's apartment. She frowned when he walked away from her. She walked after him, "Daniel!" She yelled at him once he got to his car. She grabbed his arm, "Please, I don't want to go to Dimitri's." She said, shaking her head. "I want to be with you. How am I suppose to know where you are?" She said hugging him. She closed her eyes as she gripped his body. "I don't want this." She whispered. She knew he was going to make her go to Dimitri's no matter what. She stepped back, wiping the tears from her face. "Are you at least going to come by later?" She asked him. She hated this so much. She looked up at him, "What if you get hurt?" She asked him.

Gwen didn't know what to do for Nova or how to help. She bit down on her lip wanting to follow but knew it was none of her business and she didn't want to get into this. She texted Dimitri instead. Taking Nova to your place..I'll explain why I'm even here later..Just be careful. Please. She sighed going into the kitchen glancing over at Peyton before getting a water from the fridge taking a sip of it knowing she needed to just get over her own fear and help Nova, though she didn't know why she was helping them. Probably because Nova had been kind to her.

Danny was at his car when he heard her yelling his name nad turned around frowning hating to see her so upset. "I know." He murmured huding her back and said, "If you want to know something text me. If you can't reach me get ahold if Dimitri. If you can't get him call Zach. I'm taking care of this tonight." He promised her frowning and nodded. "I know, but you can't be here. All of the city knows where I live." He told her kissing her forehead. He wiped a stray tear away. "I'll do what I can, but you know my first priority is keeping you safe." He told her leaning down to her height and shook his head. "I'll be fine." He told her. "Just go with Gwendolyn." He sighed. "I'll be back as soon as I can." He promised kissing her one last time before getting in the car and heading back. He arrived and saw Tommy again his face darkening. "Okay. You're working for me, yeah?" He said.

Nova looked at him, "Okay." She whispered. She frowned as he left then stood there for a moment. She walked back inside, ignoring the two girls before she went up to her bedroom. She glanced around the room before she gathered some of her things. She packed her clothes then opened her nightstand, staring down at her pistol. She grabbed it, putting it in the back of her jeans. She turned, seeing Gwen watching her. "Come on." She said, pulling her bag over her shoulder. She was over her crying phase and she knew playing the victim would get her killed. She walked downstairs, waving at Peyton as she left. She locked the house then got into Gwen's car. When they got to the apartment she walked in and sighed, "God this place sucks." She said as she watched Gwen lock up the door. She set her gun on the counter then sat on the couch, setting her back on the floor.

Tommy nodded, "Yea." He said. Dimitri looked at his phone, seeing Gwen texted him. Don't leave the apartment and don't open the door for anyone but me or Danny. He looked at Danny, "You got a plan?" He asked.

Gwen watched her gently as she went upstairs. She looked at her phone before sending back. Alright. We'll be fine. She sent before looking up and nodded. She got into the vehicle before heading back to Dimitri's apartment. She unlocked the door letting Nova in before locking it again and sitting down. "I like it." She told her. "I'm sorry this happened, though." She told her. Biting down on her lip she looked around sitting down as well.

Danny said, "Yeah, get this motherfucker to tel me where Xander is going to be and kill him." He looked back. "Is it the best plan? No. Will it work? Yep. You in?" He asked before getting his own gun, and getting one more knife shoving it into his shoe before looking back at Tommy. "Time to work." He handed him a burner phone before saying, "Call me when you know where he is." He instructed him. "You fuck up, and I will kill you. It's bad enough stealing from me. You fuck with my girl? You will die." He growled.

Nova looked at him, "It's fine. I just don't like not know what is going on with Danny." She said. She looked at her phone, knowing she wouldn't be getting a phone call any time soon.

Dimitri watching as Tommy left then looked at Danny. "I told Gwen to make sure she doesnt open the door." He said. He left like time when slowly until they got a phone call from Tommy. "Alright lets kill this asshole." He said.

Gwen nodded and said, "I can understand that. But, I don't think worrying is going to doa anything. Do you want to find something to do?" She asked her. "To get your mind off of it, or would you rather worry?" She didn't want to assume anything.

Danny nodded. "Good." He replied. He heard the phone call from Tommy looking back at Dimitri and nodded. He texted Nova finally saying he was going to go kill him and then pick her up. He set his phone in his pocket before heading out. "Let's finish this shit." He told him getting into the car and driving to the place. He looked around wondering if Tommy had fucking punked them.

Nova looked at her, "I mean I guess we could do something. What do you want to do?" She asked her. Nova looked at her phone one last time and sighed.

Dimitri sighed as he looked around. "I don't like this." He said. He had a weird feeling. He looked around and he noticed Xander. "Guess he wasnt lying." He said.
