Mr. and Mrs. President

Jackie shook her head, "I'm okay." She whispered softly, putting a hand on his arm. "I just felt a strong kick." She spoke as she pressed a hand against her rounded belly. She breathed slowly in then out, mentally debating whether or not to go to the hospital or not. She looked to her husband, waiting to see what he was going to say.

"Are you sure, Jackie?" Jack questioned worried. "I think you should go. Be checked to make sure everything is ok and that you're ok." Jack said worried.

Jackie breathed slowly in then out before deciding that going to get checked out wasn’t a bad idea. She looked to Bobby, “Can you keep an eye on Caroline till we get back?” She asked him. Bobby was already nodded before Jackie could finish the question. “Jackie we’lll take care of Caroline, you got her checked out and make sure that everything checks out with the little baby.” He said to his sister-in-law, kissing her cheek.

With the help of her husband, Jackie got up from the kitchen chair. She looked to Jack and smiled as one of the housemaids brought Jackie her purse. She thanked the young housemaid then looked back to Jack again. “Let’s go.” She breathed as she grabbed her husband’s hand, walking towards the front door.

Jack walked out with her seeing the waiting car waiting on them. Helping her inside he took and slid in as he took and held onto her. Rubbing her back softly he stared at her. "You feeling ok now or hurting? Please don't lie to me either." Jack looked at her worried.

Jackie slid into the backseat pf the car with Jack, slowly relaxing as she sat there. She breathed slowly in then out to stay calm. When Jack asked if she was okay, and wanted her to be honest, Jackie knew she couldn’t lie. “It’s not too bad. But it’s minimal pain.” She breathed as she kept leaning forward so that Jack could rub her back more.

"Baby. You might be in labor." Jack told her honestly as he kissed her head. "We're going to get you check and find out baby." Jack promised.

Jackie looked at little worried when Jack said she might be in labor. She remained calm as she sat there, still letting jack rub her back and sides. “I don’t want to think about being in labor.” She admitted as she sat back against the car seat.

"I promise baby. It's all going to be just fine." Jack assured his wife holding her close as he rubbed her stomach lightly.

When they arrived to the hospital, Jackie slowly stepped out Do the car with Jack right beside her. “It’s all going to be okay.” She said softly as she held Jack’s hand as she waddled inside the hospital. Going to the front desk, she smiled shyly as the Nurse recognized her right away. She made small talk with the nurse as another nurse grabbed a wheelchair for her. Not once did Jackie let go of Jack’s hand.

Jack kept her hand in his and rubbed her back lightly. When the nurse got the wheel chair. Jack helped his wife to sit down in it and kept a hold of her hand walking alongside her by the wheelchair. He took a deep breath to calm his nerves, scared and worried about his wife.

When Jackie sat down in the wheelchair, she kept a hold of Jack's hand, not wanting to let go. She stay as calm as possible as she let the nurse wheel her back to one of the hospital rooms. Hearing Jack take a deep breath, she knew that he was trying to calm his nerves. Looking to him, Jackie rubbed her thumb across his hand, trying reassure him that she was okay. Feeling another small pain, Jackie gasped a little. "I just want to go home." She whispered.

Jack looked at her and heard her gasp. “Did you feel another pain honey?” Jack questioned his wife worried about what was going on and if she was truly in labor.

"Jack, honey, I'm okay." She reassured him as the nurse brought her to a room, helping Jackie onto the bed. Laying back on the bed, she breathed slowly in then out, resting a hand on her rounded bump. When the doctor came in, Jackie watched as the doctor examined her. She was worried, but was trying to be as positive as possible. Checking over her, the doctor looked at her and told her that everything looked okay. Telling her that he wanted her to go home, and just. However, she was being put on bedrest, because there was a possibility that she could go into early labor. But she would only be a couple of weeks early.

Jack sighed in relief, but was still concerned and worried about her. He knew that something was going on but he was worried about his wife and his her health and the baby's health.

The idea of being on bedrest was not Jackie's favorite thing, but she knew that she had to think about her health and the baby's health. As the doctor checked her out and wrote down some instructions for Jackie, he looked to Jack. "Mr. Kennedy, your wife needs to just rest." He spoke, handing him a paper. He then instructed the nurse to help Jackie get ready to go home. Jackie sat there, sighing softly, wanting to cry.

Jack nodded his head and looked at his wife and smiled. He waited outside for her and talked to the doctor about everything he could do to ensure his wife's safety.

After the nurse helped Jackie get ready to go home, Jackie was wheeled out of the room with the nurse pushing her to Jack. When she got to her husband, Jackie looked to Jack and smiled sweetly. "Lets go home." She said, kind of exhausted. She kept a hand on her belly as she stayed sitting in the wheelchair.

Jack nodded his head allowing the nurse to wheel her back downstairs. Seeing the car waiting, he helped her up and into the car as he made sure she was comfortable. Sitting beside of her it wasn't long till they were heading home.

Jackie stayed quiet as she got into the car. Once in and settled, she sat there, continuing to be strong. She couldn't cry nor did she feel like crying would be a good thing for her. Holding Jack's hand, Jackie leaned up against him and ended up falling asleep in the car. When they arrived at the house, Jackie still laid there sleeping. She was so exhausted that she didn't even realize that they were back at the house. As the driver opened the door, he saw that Jackie was sleeping. "Mr. Kennedy, should we carry in Mrs. Kennedy, or do you want to?"
