Mr. and Mrs. President

"I got her." Jack replied. He slipped out and grabbed his wife carefully. Carrying her inside he took her up to their room. Laying her in the bed he removed her flats and tucked her in. Frowning he walked out unsure of what to do. He was worried now with the news of her being on bed rest now terrified him.

Jackie managed to lay there sleeping as Jack carried her to their bedroom. She quickly woke up not to long after she was in the bed. She looked around, seeing that she was in her and Jack's room, figuring that someone was must have carried her there. Sitting up on the bed, Jackie put a hand on her rounded belly. She carefully got up from the bed, opening the bedroom door. "Jack?" She called out from the bedroom.

Jack took and walked into the bedroom as he stared at her, "What's wrong honey?" Jack questioned worried about her. "Are you ok?" He questioned.

Hearing her husband and seeing him walking to her, Jackie smiled sweetly at him. "I just wanted to know where you were." She spoke as she put a hand on the lower part of her back. "I am not going to scold you, but thank you for taking me to our room." She said as she walked over to him, wrapping her arms around Jack's neck.

Jack took and smiled leaning in and kissing her lips. "You're welcome. But I am going to scold you. Back in the bed you heard what the doctor said." Jack smiled.

Jackie nodded at her husband's words, knowing that she needed to follow the Doctor's Instructions. "I'm going...I'm going." She spoke as she kept a hand on the lower part of her back as she watched to the bedroom. Slipping back into bed, Jackie waited to see if Jack was coming in.

Jack smiled walking over and sitting on the edge of the bed. "Now rest baby. I don't want anything happen to either of you." Jack spoke rubbing her stomach lightly and smiling.

Jackie smiled at Jack as he rubbed her stomach lightly. She just leaned back into the bed, getting comfortable once again. The idea of bedrest was not in the young Mrs. Kennedy's plans, especially with her husband just being elected president. However, she knew that the healthy of herself and their baby was way more important. "I know." She finally spoke as she putting a hand on his hand.

Jack smiled at her and took and kissed her head. "I promise things are going to be fine baby." Jack promised his wife.

Jackie nodded, believing her husband. "Jack, I just want to see things really blossom in many ways." She explained as she rubbed the side of her bump. "You and I have been through so much, and I can't don't mean to worry...but I just do." She admitted as she turned, laying on her side.

"I know, Jackie." Jack frowned staring at her. "I worry too. But right now that's my job baby. You need to try and relax as much as you can baby." Jack told her reassuringly.

Jackie nodded at his words. "You're right...I just need to relax." He spoke with a soft smile. She kissed him softly on the lips, putting a hand on her bump. "I should let you go enjoy time with your family. Celebrate your success with becoming the president." She said as she kept a hand on his chest. "Mr. President." She said softly as she brought her lips closer to his.

Jack smiled at Jackie and lent in kissing her lips. "They'll understand sweetheart. Right now my focus is you angel. I want to spend time with you. Pampering, spoiling, and making sure you're ok." Jack whispered slipping his arms around her waist and holding her close to him.

Jackie smiled, kissing him softly on the lips. "Thank you Jack." She said softly as she laid on the bed with him. She wrapped the covers around her a little tighter as she laid her head down on the pillow. "I am glad we get to have alone time like this together." She spoke as she rubbed the side of her belly. Looking at her belly, Jackie sighed softly.

Jack laid beside of her holding her close. "So am I." Jack smiled kissing the side of her head.

Jackie smiled, laying close to him. She then felt the baby kick, rather hard. "Ouch." She breathed as she put a hand on the side of her stomach. "Just a little while longer." She mumbled as she laid on her side.

((Wanna skip ahead a little? Maybe things could get a little tease...like Jack finds himself getting attracted to one of the White House Admin Interns...and that puts a strain between him and Jackie, especially as she is literally ready to have their child. Obviously this is a little different from history...but it just adds some drama, and I can play the intern.))

Jack held onto her and kissed the side of her head. He kept his wife close to him as he closed his eyes drifting off to sleep for a little cat nap.
