The Vengeful Ones

Danny chuckled before placing a kiss to her neck, then lifting back to look at her. "I was suppose to practice to day, it seems like your a bad influences on my band." He teased her, knowing that he'd never been really into being in a band. But he'd only done it to impress her. Now it seemed silly but he'd actually really enjoyed playing, the music was something he could get behind.

Jaelynn shifted in her seat, before peering over at him. "Yeah I'm getting that way." She told him, before thinking over what sounded good to eat. "My rents left some money for pizza." She told him, before pulling a face. "Though I really don't want pizza." She told him, wondering what she could eat that wasn't going to kill her stomach later.

Nova laughed a little, "I mean i'm not making you not go. I think you should." She said as she felt his kiss on her neck. "Do you like it?" She asked as she kissed him softly. She hoped that he liked it because she knew that he was good at it.

Ryker thought about it, "Well, what do you want? We can get whatever you want." He said. He really wasn't a picky eater. "There is a chinese place close to here or I can go to the deli up the street and get us some sandwiches." He explained to her.

Danny let out a soft chuckle, "you think I'll be able to leave this bed while your here." He slowly dragged his hand along her side, letting her know that her naked form was keeping him here. He smiled as she questioned him about the band, rolling off her he grabbed his covers draping it over them, before he propped himself up to look at her. "I do." He told her, "I guess I owe you a thank you." He informed her. "If you hadn't suggested I try I wouldn't have found out it was my kind of thing."

Jaelynn perked up at the mention of sandwiches. "A sub sound amazing right now." She told him. "Why don't we go together." She offered, knowing that she'd feel really uncomfortable being alone in his house. They weren't that good of friends for her to feel relaxed with out him around. Though she could still feel a knot in her stomach while around him.

Nova smiled as she pulled the blanket close to her, the smell of his cologne surrounding them. "Well you're welcome." She teased him. She kissed him softly then looked at him, "It kind of sucks i wont be right next door to you anymore." She said.

Ryker nodded, "Alright lets do that." He said as he got up. He pulled on his jacket and put his shoes on. "You ready?" He asked as she walked towards him. He grabbed his keys and smiled. Ryker walked out of the house and headed up the street with her.

Ryker smiled at her before placing a kiss to her bare shoulder. "I know, but you can come over any time you want." He informed her, he wouldn't turn her away. It was the last thing he wanted. And if he could he'd offer her to live with him, but his mother would flip if she came home and a girl was living in her house. He knew it sucked but they only had the rest of the year before they graduated and then they could figure things out from there.

Jaelynn nodded before wrapping her cardigan tighter around her. "Yeah." She told him, before falling into step beside him. She knew that she told him she'd try to be his friend, but every time she got close to him she clammed up. She wanted to talk and enjoy their time together, but she was to afraid she say something wrong or make a fool of herself.

Nova nodded, "Okay good." She said as she snuggled against him. She knew he had to leave soon, but she didn't want him to leave her right away. "I guess I am not helping you get ready am I?" She teased him, laughing a little. She pulled away and sat up in his bed.

Ryker walked with her then opened the door so she could go in before him. He smirked as he walked in after her. He looked at the subs trying to decide what he wanted. He ordered a meatball sub once she ordered hers. He stepped back and waited with her. "Do you want drinks?" He asked her.

Danny smiled as she sat up, his eyes trailing her body. He wasn't in any hurry. After all his phone would have been blowing up if they were waiting on him. Shift he sat up, reaching over he ran his hand teasingly up her back. "We don't have to rush." He whispered out, before placing a kiss to her shoulder. "You hungry?" He asked, hoping to spend more time with her.

Jaelynn smiled at hin as he opened the door for her. "Thank you." She said moving to order her food. She got her usual sub, sweriyaki chicken. She had them add pepperoni before having them toast it. As they made her sub she turned to Ryker. "Sure." She answered his question on getting something to drink. "Did you want to eat here?" She asked as they got there stuff.

Nova nodded, "Yea i am hungry." She said as she sat kissed his cheek. She held him close and thought about what she wanted to eat. "What did you have in mind?" She asked.

Ryker got them drinks then took their subs. "We can eat here." He said as he sat with her. He began to eat his meatball sub, enjoying the taste of it.

Danny smiled as he held her close. "I don't care, I can make us something or we can go and grab a bite to eat." He offered, not really caring what they did as long as she was with him. Though it the back of his mind he was terrified he'd never see her again if she left him. He knew it was just him being silly, and that she wasn't going to ditch him agian.

Sitting opposite from him she watched as he started to devour his sub. "Easy there killer." She teased him, before taking a bite of her own. She wondered if he'd eaten today at all or if this was his normal way of eating. But then she thought back to school and their lunch time together and she'd never seen him eat before. They'd always manage to mess it up one way or another. But he way cute when he blushed, she knew that for sure.

Nova smiled at him and thought about what she wanted. "Lets go somewhere to eat." She said. She kissed him before she pulled away and got out of bed. She started to get dressed, seeing him watching her. "You know they wont let you in naked." She teased him.

Ryker felt his cheeks heat up when she mentioned him eating too fast. "Sorry its a habit." He said before he took a sip of his soda. He normally didnt eat with other people too often unless it was his friends and they ate the same way.

Danny chuckled before shaking his head. "They would it they though I was hot." He teased her, before standing up. He had been enjoying the view. But he knew that it wasn't getting her fed. Moving to his closet he pulled out some boxers pulling them on. "Would you like to borrow a shirt?" He asked wondering if she'd like a clean shirt. His pants wouldn't fit her unless she was aiming to wear his sweats.

Smiling at her food she shook her head before taking another bite. "I don't mind, just worried you might choke." She teased, knowing that she was making an effort. Nibbling at the bread she lifted her eyes to meet his, knowing they were doing there best to be nice to one another.

Nova looked at him when he asked if she wanted to borrow a shirt. She nodded then took the shirt that he offered her. She pulled it on and tied it so it wasn't so baggy on her. She waited for him then walked out of his house with him. She smiled as they headed towards the diner. She looked at him after they sat down and looked at the menu. "What are you going to get?" She asked. She already knew what she wanted.

Ryker chuckled, "I think I should be okay." He said as he began to eat again. When he finished he sat back and relaxed. He took a sip of his drink as he waited for her to finish. He wasn't going to rush her though because he wasnt in any kind of hurry.

Danny pulled his clothing on before heading out the door with her. He knew that spending this time with her was rare, since they'd never managed to actually ever make it to here. Smiling over at her he wrapped his arm over her shoulder as they headed down the road toward the dinner. It was one of his favorites. Only because it was so close to home. Once inside he was reluctant to let go of her but he slid in the seat opposite of her. He didn't need to even pick up the menu to know what he was getting. He smiled when she gave him her attention. "Well since its almost lunch time I'm getting there lunch special." He pointed to there board where they wrote the specials of the day. And today's lunch just so happened to be any kind of hamburger with a side of onion rings and potato bites.

Jaelynn frowned slightly as he finished eating, she'd always been a slow eater. It bothered her too, it was only because people tended to stare at her after they were done. Though Ryker was a bit different so far he'd managed to ignore her the entire time they were out. If it wasn't pertaining to getting food or her starting the conversation, they were quite. It didn't seem like he was to keen on getting to know her. Taking a drink of soda she sighed, maybe this wasn't the best idea.

[So our car was broken into last night and someone stole my husbands wallet and they broke into a neighbor down the streets car. ]

Nova looked at him, "That actually sounds like a good idea." She said as she shut her menu. She ordered a coke then ordered a bacon cheeseburger. She smiled as she let him order his food. She was so glad that they were able to spend time together. She took his hand and smiled.

Ryker looked at her, "What's wrong?" He asked. He knew that things were still kind of awkward since the whole fight thing. Ryker took a sip of his drink and looked at her. "I really hope we can get to know each other better." He said to her. He did really like her.

[Oh no, people like that piss me off. I hope nothing of great value was taken, and I'm just glad no one got hurt, hopefully they catch the f*^#ing thief]

Danny smiled at the waitress as they ordered their food, it wasn't anything flirtatious he was just happy to be ordering food. His stomach would thank him once he got something on it. Turning to look at Nova his smiled turned loving, it was almost like he relaxed. "I'm glad you're okay." He told her again, he knew that the waitress had been staring at her bruises he could tell she thought he'd done it. But he hadn't put to much thought behind it once Nova had taken his hand. "Any thoughts to what you want to do after this?" He asked her, knowing he didn't want to push her to much today. Since she was still on the mend.

Jaelynn bit her lip as she thought what to tell him, but before she could get the right words, he'd already spoken her thoughts exactly. "I was thinking the same thing." She informed him, "though I feel it's a bit awkward." She told him, knowing she'd been doing her best to try and start small talk.

[they got all our credit cards but we cancelled them but they did try to make a transaction that was declined so i have an exact time and place so the cops are going to get the video footage. ]

Nova looked at him, "I dont care. We could go to a movie or something if you want." She said as she held his hand. She smiled at him and thought about how great it was to finally hang out together. She kissed his knuckles and smiled.

Ryker nodded, "I know. Hopefully we can get over the awkwardness." He said. He smiled a little, "Maybe we can just kind of forget the whole thing." he said.

[Good, though I don't know much about your police force. But I hope they do their job and get the asshole]

Danny smiled at her tenderness, glad that they were finally able to go out. Though this wasn't the date he had in mind, it was still better than nothing. He'd have to make actually plans to take her out on a decent date. Closing his eyes basking in his enjoyment, he smiled at her. "Any idea on what you'd like to see?" He didn't even know if they were open or not. But none the less he'd take her to do anything she wanted to.

Nodding she knew that he was right, "I know what you mean." She told him, before returning to her lunch. Even though he wasn't eating, she hoped they could now enjoy lunch together and actually have a conversation.

[yea im not sure we just moved here in may but they took finger prints and stuff so they seemed serious. haha]

Nova smiled, "Let's see a scary movie." She said. She held his hand, "Does that sound good?" She asked. She wanted to make sure that he would enjoy himself as well.

Ryker nodded, "We can hang out more if you would like." He suggested. "The band has a gig this friday if you want to come." He told her. He knew it would be weird but he wanted to spend time with her. "Then we can go to the after party if you would like." He said.

Danny blinked at her, before remembering that she had enjoyed scary moves. It was like he was trying to get to know someone who he hadn't known. But this was Nova someone he'd known just about everything about, but then again she didn't always talk about her life or past. So he knew her well enough but he still needed to get know her too. "Okay something scary." He smiled at her before thanking the waitress as she brought them their food. "Thanks." He told her, before turning back to Nova. "Any idea what's playing?" He asked, he didn't have any idea.

Nodding her head Jaelynn thought about if she really wanted to go to the gig. Their music really wasn't her thing. "I'll see if I can go." She informed him, knowing that it wasn't just up to her. Really it was, but she knew if she wanted to back out later then she could. It was just an excuse so that she wasn't getting his hopes up.

Nova watched as their food was set in front of them then ate one of her fries. "What about The Nun?" She asked. She began to eat her burger as she listened to him. She was just glad to be sending some time with him. She hoped that Jaelynn's parents wouldnt be too strict.

Ryker nodded, "Alright sounds good. If you want you can skip the show and come to the party." He said. He finished his drink and relaxed in his chair. He was hoping to make everything better between them.
