The Vengeful Ones

Hearing the bell ring he headed up into the bleachers, he knew he wasn't about to head to class. He's spent the last one punching the shit out of a bag, and just when he thought his anger had depleted Nova sat beside him. Glaring down at the hoodie, he rolled his eyes at her words. "Just tell me then, why kiss me?" He asked, wanted the truth. But it seemed that he gave her that but she constantly lied to him.

Jaelyn chuckled, "next party I promise you won't be excluded." She teased him. Nibbling on her lip she frowned, "yeah sorry I forgot to ask about it, you never know what my parents have planned." She told him. She hated lying to him. But she still hadn't decided if she wanted to or not.

Nova frowned, "Why do I need a reason? Maybe I just wanted to because we never did." She said. "What do yout want me to say Danny? That i am in love with you?" She asked. "You of all people should know that love is a joke and doesn't really exist." She said, looking at her hands.

Ryker nodded, "No problem." He said, smiling. His friend looked at her, "Don't worry you are Ryker's friend we can bring the show to you." He teased. Ryker laughed, "Yea i am sure the neighbors would love that." He said.

Danny sighed shaking his head, "then why are you still here?" He asked her, getting angrier. He'd never felt his way before, now he understood why most of the girls in school hated him. If they felt half of what he did he wouldn't blame them. Blinking he did his best not to yell at her to leave him alone. But he was reaching his limit.

Jaelyn chuckled, "uh yeah my mom would flip." She shook her head, not wanting to think about the reaction her mom would have. After all she was a bit controlling. And just having talked in the kitchen alone with Ryker started her on the whole no sex before marriage kick again. But she'd sadly missed that ship sailing.

Nova noticed him getting angry, "I just wanted to say I was sorry for being mean earlier." She said. Nova looked around the empty gym. She looked at him, "You are the only friend I really have and I don't want you to hate me." She said. She had friends but none if them knew things like Danny.---
Ryker smiled, "Oh she would love it." He teased her. He knew that her mom seemed pretty strict though. He looked at the teacher as she began class. Ryker waa hoping Jaelyn would decide to come to the show.

Danny sighed as she did it again, she made him feel for her. She was the only person he knew that could make him change in a heart beat. Though he was pissed a split second ago, now he was trying to find ways to comfort her. "I'm going to be your friend regardless, but don't touch me." He told her, he needed his space. After all he's always promised to be a safe haven for her.

Jaelyn laughed out shaking her head, she like that he knew how to use his humor to brighten a shitty situation. She was glad he didn't push her for answers about her mother. Instead he used her for the butt of jokes, and it made things easier to coop. She nibbled on her lip as class began. She didn't know a lot about the school system here, but she figured she'd learn.

Nova frowned, "You don't want me to touch you now or like ever?" She asked. She could tell that everything she did upset him. She looked at her fingers, then looked back at him. She really wanted his hoodie back. it was comfortable.

Ryker took some notes, but before long he was staring out the window, day dreaming. Ryker sighed as he leaned back against his chair, crossing his arms.

Danny sighed, before looking at her. "Not what I meant." He told her, "if you don't mean it don't kiss me again." He told her, before handing her the hoodie. "Keep it." He said then getting up. He walked down the bleachers and back into the boxing area. Before he started hitting the bag. He just needed something to take his mind off of Nova. He was tormenting himself, but he loved her to much to let her suffer alone.

Jaelyn doodled in her book as she waited for class to be over, and the minute the bell rang she couldn't be happier. Gathering her stuff she smiled at Ryker, still not having all the places memorized. "Walk me to my next class?" She asked, not really thinking much about how her word could be taken.

Nova watched as he walked off the bleachers then got up. She held his hoodie as she walked out of the gym. She could tell that she had really hurt him. She got her books for her next class and went to it.

Ryker snapped out of his day dream when the bell went off. He looked at Jaelyn when she asked him something. "Yea I can." He said as he got up. He grabbed his books then walked with her down the halls. He smiled as they got to her class, "Have fun." He teased her before he walked away.

Danny stayed in the gym till lunch time, he knew that after not having breakfast he needed something to eat. But he really didn't want to chance running into Nova. As petty as it sounded, it was just because he didn't want to rehash what they'd been dealing with this morning. And he needed get his mind off of it. Stepping into the cafeteria he noticed his friends standing in line. Walking up to them he socked Derick in the arm. "What's up ass hat?" Clive asked, "missed you in class."

Jaelyn didn't miss the kissy faces Nick and Ryker's other friends made. She rolled her eyes knowing they were teasing. But she couldn't help the smile on her face. As they walked there wasn't much chatter, which she was thankful for. Seeing as his friends had planted a thought in her head and she was too preoccupied to find idle chatter entertaining. "Thanks." She chuckled before heading into class. Already wishing it was lunch time.

Nova sat at the lunch table with some of her friends not eating much. She always dreaded lunch because it made her realize she had to go home soon. She let her eyes move to Danny, watching him. She hoped he wasn't still pissed at her

Ryker stood at Jaelyn's locker when lunch rolled around and waited for her. "I thought maybe you would like to sit with us at lunch " He said to her, smiling a little.

Danny laughed at Clive's question, "you just wished you could skip out and not get caught." He told his friend, as they got their food. He was feeling better, but his mind was focused. If he let it wander to much he'd start thinking about Nova. And rejection wasn't a good feeling, honestly he'd started to feel bad for some of the girls he'd iced. But he was glad he had friends like he did they never let him get to bored.

Jaelyn was surprised to see Ryker at her locker, shocked that he remembered her locker number. Shaking off her surprise, she headed to her locked. "What's up?" She asked him. Smiling at him as he offered her to sit with them. "Sure, why not." The guys from earlier were pretty fun. And making a few friends wouldn't really hurt.

Nova was hoping that lunch would be over soon. She looked at her stuff in front of her then got up and left the lunch room. She didn't like watching Danny. She went to her locker and got her stuff out for next class. She just wanted the day to be over with. Nova walked into the library and found her normal spot to hang out behind a few bookshevles. She sat down and opened the book she was reading.

Ryker smiled when she agreed, "Awesome." He said. He walked with her to lunch and once they got their food he sat with her. "So you like it here so far?" He asked her as he opened his bottle of water.

Danny was thankful that lunch ended, his side hurt from laughing. But he'd enjoyed his time. He dumped his tray before heading to his next class, he nodded to his friends before taking off towards his locker. He grabbed what he needed before heading to class, knowing he'd have some catch up to do with the skipping this morning.

Smiling over at Ryker she nodded. "It's alright." She shrugged, knowing that it was a lie. But she was enjoying herself none the less. Grabbing her drink she opened it before and taking a drink. "I really hate school though." She chuckled, before turning to eat her food.

Nova heard the bell ring, debating on going to class. She sighed as she got up and walked to her next class. She sat down, hearing her friend talk to her. Nova was ready to go home. The weekend was going to be fun.

Ryker chuckled, "No one really likes school." He said. Ryker ate his food as his friends talked about the gig they had over the weekend. He was excited to get to play for people. They had a few gigs and it seemed like they were becoming more popular.

Danny sat in class enjoying the lecture they were getting to day. Mr. Burns had to be his favorite teacher. He didn't try to act like the kids by coping their lingo. But he did a lot to make them laugh. He was the best History teacher he'd had. And it was one of the reasons Danny liked school. He got to enjoy the variety of different personalities.

Jaelyn smiled as the guys discussed their gig. Though she felt more like an outsider that she ever had. These guys had something special and she could tell it bonded them well. But they were happy to talk to her, just as long as it wasn't about the band. Though with the way they acted, she was starting to want to go to the show. But she knew she still needed permission. Hearing the bell ring, she was shocked that lunch was over so fast and she'd barely said anything. Yet she hadn't needed too. Grabbing her tray she stood before smiling at the guy. "See you later." She told them, even though she knew it might be then next day before they all seen each other again.

Nova stood in the club with her friend, smiling as they waited for the guys to go on. She knew Danny was meeting her there as well. Nova looked over as Haven, the lead singer came over to the side of the stage, motioning her over. She had gotten pretty close with all the guys since she started taking pictures for them. She laughed as he talked to her, not noticing Danny and his friend had gotten there. She let Haven walk off then found Danny. "Hey." She said, smiling. She had her camera in her hands. So far the friend thing was working out pretty well for them. Nova stood with him, "Tonight should be a good show." She said, looking at Danny. He was being his normal broody self. Nova took his picture as he stared at the crowd near them. When he looked at her she smirked, "For my personal collection." She teased him.

Ryker stood backstage with the guys, goofing off before they went on. He grabbed his guitar, making sure he was ready. He hoped that Jaelyn showed up. He really wanted her to see him play. When it was time for them to go on he walked out on stage hearing the cheers from everyone. Ryker began to play his guitar, getting lost in the music.

Danny entered the club his friends already agreed to meet him there. His eyes moved along the crowd, landing on Nova. His eyes traveled along her body, before landing on the guy in front of her. His eyes glazed over with anger as he watched them flirt. Then it dawned on him, the reason that she refused him was she liked someone else. Sighing he leaned up against the bar, debating on ordering a drink. But once Nova approached him, he couldn't help but greet her. He knew that being jealous wouldn't get him any where. He listened to her talk not really giving a damn about the music, and really he didn't know why he was still here. He blinked when she took his picture, scoffing as she mentioned personal collection. "Why not burn it." He rolled his eyes, not knowing why she bothered with him.

Nibbling on her lip she watched as they line move, their wasn't may people going to this gig. So she was surprised when she still showed up. She smiled when she finally entered, tugging on the sleeve of her jacket. She didn't know anyone here, but the people that were on the stage. Watching as Ryker while she moved through the crowd. She was surprised at the interest she took in him. Though the music wasn't to much to her liking.

Nova frowned at his attitude, "What's wrong?" She asked him. He seemed upset with her and she wasn't sure why. She looked at the floor, then looked at the stage. Danny always had a way of spreading his gloom to her and she didn't know why. If he wasn't happy it was like it sucked out her happiness. She looked at him, seeing he looked pissed off, "You didn't have to come if you didn't want to you know." She said, finally. She didn't want him to feel forced to hang out with her. She knew that being friends would either work for them or they would end up hating each other.

Ryker looked up at the crowd, seeing Jaelyn looking at him. He smirked as he played. He was glad that she decided to show up for once. When the band took a break from their set he found her in the crowd after navigating through everyone. "Hey." He said. "I'm glad you showed up." He said, smiling. "What do you think?" He asked. He was hoping she was having fun being around them.
