Casey took a deep breath as she thought for a minute. "Washington I think.. just outside the city. It where they though patient zero was" she said softly, trying her best to recall the information. She hadn't thought much of it when they had first told her, Steve went away on work trips all the time.

Jonathan nodded softly, thinking for a bit. He moved over to her, and put his arm on her shoulder, "we'll be safe here," he said softly. He looked at the radio, "with some supplies from my place, I might be able to boost the signal from that radio," he said softly.

Casey glanced up at him, nodding softly. "I mean yeah that could be good... I don't feel too optimistic about going back in to town though" she told him, biting on her lower lip gently.

Jonathan smiled up at her, "come on it'll be fine," he said softly. He shifted on the seat, "we can leave it a couple days, until we both feel better," he suggested. He wanted her to feel comfortable, plus with a couple extra days, he could teach her to shoot some more.

Casey nodded spftly, rubbing at her exposed ankle nervously as her pant leg raised from the position she sat in. "I just.. always get really freaked out in town . Even about people following is or anything" she admitted honestly.

Jonathan smiled lightly, "yeah I know, we will have to be careful, but I promise everything will be fine," he said gently. He watched her for a moment before moving over to her. "Casey, I'll keep you safe," he said putting his arm around her.

Casey nodded, leaning into him as he wrapped his arms around around her. "I know you will Jon" she whispered softly looking in to his eyes "it's you I'm worried for... I'm scared I can't keep you safe" she said to him, running a hand through her hair.

Jonathan smiled gently, and kissed her forehead. "You've made me start to care again, I was until I met you the other day, going to just let everyone get killed in their own time," he said softly. "You've done more than keep me safe, you've me the will to fight again," he said

Casey wrapped her Arms around his waist loosely, letting her head lean against him. "I'm glad I could be of some use to you" she whispered before standing up. "C'mon, we need to eat to something. What would you like?" She asked him.

Jonathan relaxed slightly. He looked up at her, "what ever you feel like," he said softly. He smiled sweetly, "I'll quickly go check the perimeter," he said softly.

Casey nodded, watching him as he left, beginning to sift through what they had in the storage. A smile spread across her face as she thought quickly. She began gathering a few little things, spreading candles around the cabin, and placing cutlery out on the table.

She began throwing some food together wanting to have it ready when he got back, like a little date.

Jonathan had picked up his rifle, and headed out of the cabin, to check the fence line. He walked around it slowly, scanning the forest out past them for threats.

He slowly made his way back to the cabin, "oh what's this?" he asked surprised.

Casey smiled at him, her cheeks blushing softly in case he thought it was dumb. "It's our first date" she said with a laugh, motioning for him to sit down.

Jonathan smiled softly, "it's nice, thank you," he said sweetly. He moved over to her and hugged her lightly, "It's my first ever date, too," he whispered. He moved over to the seat and sat down.

Casey smiled softly "Your first ever?" She asked, fetching the bowls of soup she had heated up and placing it before him as she sat down. She smiled across the table at him happily, forgetting about all the bad for a little while. "well, I mean at least you can say you got me in to bed without even having to be dinner first" she teased softly.

Jonathan nodded sheepishly, "the weird kid, remember," he said softly. He smiled and looked across at her, "Yes that was another amazing first, that I've shared with you," he said lightly. He reached across the table and grabbed her hand, "So Casey, is there anything you've never done before, that you want me to help you with?" he asked.

Casey nodded softly "but I mean... Didn't you like ho away to camp or anything? Where you were normal?" She asked , hoping that didn't come out hurtful. She smiled softly as he took her hand, stopping to think for a second before she answered him. "I can't think of anything new Jon, but you've helped me with plenty of firsts. The first time I've ever shot a gun, the first time I've ever killed a half dead creature" she said with a weak laugh running a hand through her hair. "Imean.. your probably the first person I've felt like I really have a connection with" she added gently.

Jonathan smiled softly, "I was the weird kid, at weird kid camp," he said lightly. He smiled softly, "well I'm glad to be of service, you really surprised me, how quickly you picked up shooting," he said. He blushed a deep red, "You are the first person, I've been really attracted too," he admitted. He paused, "I really enjoying looking at you," he added, hoping he wasn't coming off as weird

Casey's smile faltered slightly, but she tried her best to make sure he didn't see. "I enjoy looking at you too" she said gently, beginning to focus on her soup as she ate. She thought maybe Jonathan was different, that he had enjoyed spending time with her, getting to know her perdonalify. She had idiotically though that he actually liked her for her and not for what everybody saw. She knew it was a silly thing to be upset by, but it stung just a little. "So, I'm, what's our plan?" She asked.

Jonathan looked down at his food, "I also found that you're way nicer than I expected too, it's been fun getting to know you" he said softly. He shrugged for a moment, "Well, my thoughts were that we could fortify this place, make it safer, head into town for some of my gear, then try to get a hold of someone," he said lightly. He thought for a moment, "and we can try and see if any of your friends have made it, if you wanted."

He ate his soup slowly, "what about you, what do you think we should do?" he asked
