Caroline realised she had years streaming down her cheeks, she hated how sensitive she was. "I thought I could help.." she murmured, pulling her knees bVk into her chest. She didn't know what else to do, Dominic clearly knew everything.

Danny looked at her, "I asked you not to." He said. "How could you lie to me like this?" He asked. He couldn't believe he went behind his back and put herself in danger.

Caroline frowned softly "Let's not talk about lies behind people's backs? Dannyup until yesterday I thought you were working ina garage" she said, wiping at her eyes.

Danny frowned, "That is not the point Caroline. I don't think you realize that you could go to jail for what he is asking of you." He said.

Caroline looked up sharply "I work in the system Danny, of course I understand. I could get 20 years, and have my license revoked... But Danny.. He knows everything, I just know it. I could get 50 years for aiding and abetting if he chose to turn you in over Marcus" she said, her face pale as a sheet.

Danny looked at her and shook her head, "I would have just went to jail and dealt with it. You should have stayed out of this." He said. He just assumed he would end up spending life in prison or end up dead so he wasnt scared.

Caroline had shifted from sad to slightly angry now, her eyes narrowing at Danny. "and where do I fit in to those plans Danny? Visiting you once a week, not even getting to hold hands? At least I tried to do something about it, instead of sitting back and waiting for the day you'd get arrested" she said, crossing her arms over her chest. "It might not have turned out how I wanted, but at least I tried to fucking dosomething about it Danny, I was involved anyway"

Danny looked at her, "Your part in the plan was for you to get away from me. Like you should have awhile ago." He said looking at her. "I have ruined your life do you realize that?" He asked.

Caribe recoiled, looking down at her feet. "I tried to leave,... But something brought me back" Cali whispered. "do you want me to go?" she asked, a little louder this time, her eyes trained firmly on the ground.

Danny shook his head, "No, I don't want you to go. I just wish I could have kept you from fucking up your life." He said as he looked over at her.

Caroline glanced up at him, reaching out for his hand. "My life was kinda fucked up anyway.. Now its just a little more so" she said softly, not wanting him to blame himself "Most of this is my fault anyway"

Danny frowned, "How is this your fault?" He asked. he didn't like that she felt that way.

Cali cleared her throat looking up at him. "Well Danny... Its not like I didn't know your background, or the type of person you were.. And well, I fell for you knowing that. Then I went and acted on those feelings, which I mean was quite literally illegal. I came back, even though I saw you murder somebody.. I covered for that murder. I made all these choices Dan.. I made the choice to go there Roddy. Its all my fault" she told him softly, gripping his wrist as she tried to make him see it from her view.

Danny looked at her and kissed her. "I shouldn't have even tried to be with you. you are too good for me." He said as he kissed her again. He was worried about what his gang was going to make her do.

Caroline kissed him back softly and sat down on the sofa once again. "please don't say that, you are all I need" she told him softly, curling up with her head in his lap. Her body felt drained from being so worked up all day. "cN you stay here tonight.. I don't want to be on my own" she asked, her voice quiet.

Danny ran his fingers through her hair, "Yea I can stay." He said as he relaxed against the couch. He knew that things were going to get very hard for them.

Caroline smiled, circling his knee with her finger. "I'm scared Danny" she admitted, turning on to her back so a could look up at him. She sighed softly and closed her eyes, trying to transport herself to anywhere but her. "You sure we couldn't just run?" she asked.

Danny shook his head, "If you run they will just hunt you down and kill you. I have seen it done." He said. "I'm sorry Caroline but there is no way out." He said as he ran his fingers through her hair.

Caroline sighed, wishing she had just listened to Danny in the first place. "tomorrow's my first day back, I need to check if they've upped the security" she said gently, reaching her arm up to gently caress the side of his ear.

Danny smiled at her, "You will be fine." He said as he kissed her softly. He relaxed against the couch, "I am sure you will have eyes on you to make sure you dont get messed with." He said.
