Who Are You Today?

Micheal had gathered a stack of four books. He was wondering around another section of the store, looking at pictures and things. He smiled when he saw Kassidy at the end of the aisle.

"Kassidy, I think I'm ready to get out of here," he said lightly. He looked over at the new attendant who had been following him around the store at a distance.

Kassidy smiled lightly at Micheal, glad that he was reasy to go. She nodded to him before heading off to the front counter. After a short talk with the sales clerk, Kassidy walked with Micheal out of the store.

"Let's go home," Kassidy said softly. The bookstore had been more stressful today than she had hoped.

Micheal waited patiently as the books were paid for, he slipped them into a bag, held onto them. He smiled softly at Kassidy, "Thank you," he said lightly. He walked with her out of the store.

"Yeah lets go home, I'm one with crowds for today," he said lightly. He walked with her, and slipped his hand into hers, for the first time ever.

Kassidy looked up at Micheal as his hand slipped into hers. Surprise was written all over her face. But quickly, she smiled brightly at him and wrapped her own fingers around his hand as well. Kassidy never really thought that this was happen, but she was ecstatic that it was.

"I am done with crowds today too." Kassidy agreed as she walked with him back towards the house. It was a short brisk walk, and soon enough Kassidy was opening up the door to the home.

Micheal smiled softly, and walked with her. He slipped into the house, heading for his room, once she'd opened the door. He smiled back at her, "thanks for taking me shopping," he called.

Micheal went back to reading his book, not really having anything else on his mind.

"Your welcome Micheal," Kassidy said softly as he headed off. Once he was out of sight, Kass immediately went to her room. She was so excited about this development and had to write it down in her journal while it was still fresh in her mind.

Micheal spent the rest of the day in silence, staring at his book. He read slowly, enjoying the story. Just as dinner time rolled around, he finally looked up from his book.

He smiled softly, and stood up, searching around the house for Kassidy.

Kassidy had gotten distracted finishing up some housework before going back to her journal. Though as she was writing, she ended up falling asleep on top of it. She was sleeping soundly, her head on the desk and her hand on the journal.

Micheal spotted her in her room. He smiled softly and walked over to her, he spotted her journal. He had an urge to pick it up and read it, but fought it, "Kassidy?" he called softly.

Kassidy continued to sleep soundly on the desk, not having been woken up by the light call. Her body slightly spread out as a small snore came from her lips.

Micheal saw her sleeping, noticing her light snores. He smiled weakly, and grabbed a cushion from the couch, placing it gently under her head.

He headed into the kitchen to make himself something simple for dinner.

A little later, Kassidy shifted on top of the pillow as she started to wake up. As her eyes opened it, it took her a few moments to realize what had happened. A small gasp left her lips as she quickly locked the journal away again. Did he notice? Did he read it? Did he know what it was about?

Dread started to fill up Kassidy as she stood up from the chair. She needed to find out immediately. "Micheal?" Kassidy called out, her voice filled with fear.

Micheal was sitting eating his simple meal, in front of the TV. He turned his head when he heard her call his name. "Kassidy, I'm in here," he called back.

He hadn't read her journal, having decided against it. Instead he had one of his own books open beside him, about halfway through it.

As Kassidy walked into the living room, she cautiously started to look Micheal up and down. Everything seemed normal but she couldn't be sure. Though she just hoped that Micheal hadn't been too curious.

"How is everything going?" She asked him, worry still dripping into her voice.

Micheal smiled as she came in, "Good, I'm having something to eat, there's some left on the bench if you're hungry," he said lightly.

He looked at her, "how was your nap?" he asked.

"My nap was good." Kassidy said softly. Perhaps he actually did not see a thing? Things seemed normal. "Did you get me the pillow?"

She headed over to the bench, picking up the food and then sitting down. Her eyes still on him as she moved.

Micheal nodded gently, "yeah you looked uncomfortable," he said softly. He smiled at her, "what do you keep the journal for?" he asked curious.

A smile started over Kassidy's lips as she was beginning to believe that Micheal had not read the journal at all. She picked up some of the food before heading back out and sitting on the couch. "Thank you Micheal. And it is just a journal that I keep for myself. Sometime I can look back at later."

Micheal nodded lightly to himself, "ah I see, do you write about me sometimes?" he asked curious. He wasn't upset, he was merely curious. Despite the fact that Micheal could get upset quickly when around females, especially if he is touched, he wasn't easily upset by other things.

Kassidy looked over at Micheal for a moment before slowly nodding. "Sometimes" She said softly before looking back down at her food, deciding to tend to that. This was something that Micheal would probably be fine with. Especially since he did not know the extent to which she wrote about him...
