Drew shook his head, "Look i don't feel like arguing with you. Did I want to have sex? Who doesn't? Did i want to actually hang out with you? Yes. I am not going to feel bad for wanting to give you attention. Why is me wanting to hang out with you so bad?" He asked.

Nova looked at him, "They are rude because they are small minded individuals." She said. She thought for a moment, "I like your idea better though." She said. She smiled when he looked confused, "The day drinking thing. Lets do that." She said as she cleaned their plates. "I'm sure it will be more interesting than who Amber is fucking for this week." She said. She grabbed her purse, "Let's go." She said, turning the lights off.

He looked surprised for a second and laughed. “I was kidding, you should go hang out with your friends,” He said, raising an eyebrow. “Day drinking isn’t a good habit for you to pick up. I was just saying that,” He added, chuckling a little.

She shook her head. “You wanting to hang out with me is fine, if you want to go out, okay let’s do it.” She said to him, nodding seriously. “But you can’t call me heartless, especially when you knew you weren’t the only one. That’s all,” She told him. “But if you want to hang out, knowing that then okay.”

Nova looked at him, "Nah you said it so we are doing it." She said. "Or are you afraid?" She challenged him. "Are you scared I can out drink you?" She teased him. She crossed her arms, looking at him. "Unless you have better things to do. Though you don't seem like a very busy person." She said.

Drew sighed, "Clearly I know you were with other guys." He said. He nodded when she mentioned hanging out, "Okay well we will hang out then." He said.

Layla looked at him for a moment before her face broke into a smile. “I must have made quite the impression on you for you to like me so much in such a short time,” She teased him, now once again interested. She didn’t spare the freshman another look, she figured he’d be waiting next time she got back around to him. “Well, you wanted my attention, you’ve got it,” She shrugged as she looked at him. “Where do you want to go?”

He snorted. “You’re on,” He said, his eyebrow raised skeptically. “You look like a lightweight so I’ll have to carry you home later anyway,” He said to her, grabbing his wallet and shaking his head. “Lets go, there’s a place I know.” He said to her as he lead her out the door. The last place he expected to be was once again with her, but she was interesting to him and he didn’t mind going with it. He lead her down the street to a bar that was open during the day tjay he frequented both alone and with friends. “You’re up,” He said, raising his eyebrows as he went over to the counter.

Drew smiled, "Come on." He said, leading her out. He took her to a diner down the street and sat in the booth with her. He slid a menu to her, "We will eat before we do the fun stuff." He said, chuckling.

Nova smiled when she got her way then walled with him. She walked into the bar with him. She looked at him once they got to the counter. She ordered them both a shot of whiskey and beers. She looked at him and smiled. She did like whiskey more than most people.

“Ooh more fun stuff, I’m excited,” She sat down and looked at the menu, her stomach suddenly growling in anticipation. “I haven’t had chicken and waffles in so long I want some,” She told him. “Also you ruined a perfectly good outfit, I wanted to be seen in it more,” She said jokingly. Truthfully she didn’t care, but she had worn it specifically for the attention it gave her. “So I must really be your type, huh?” She asked him, only looking away from him because the waitress came to take their orders.

He looked at her in mild amusement, not wanting to assume she could handle her whiskey and be wrong. “Guess we’ll see,” He chuckled, going to sit down at a table and taking the shot, his eyes on hers. “So who is Amber fucking this week?” He asked in mock interest, leaning forward on the table. “Your friends really spend time talking about that kind of stuff?”

Drew smiled, "Oh we will show it off." He said. He looked over at the waitress then ordered his food after her. He leaned back against the chair. "Why do you always feel like you need to impress people?" He asked.

Nova sat with him and took a shot. "Amber does. I could care less." She said, shrugging. Nova looked at him, "They are really boring actually." She said. "That's why I have chose you to hang out with." She said, smiling.

She wasn’t surprised by the question, it was one she got often. “Why do you play football. Some of it’s probably because you’re good at it, it’s fun, all of that stuff is for you. But the attention, the fact that people know who you are, it’s all part of it too.” She explained to him. “I’m not aiming to impress anyone, but if I can have fun and get attention at the same time, why not?”

“Why are you friends with them if they’re boring?” He asked her, raising an eyebrow. “Why even keep talking to them if all they talk about is whoever Ambers fucking now? Seems pointless.”

Drew smiled at her, "I guess it is nice to get the attention." He said. "I understand that though." He said. Drew took a sip of his drink and watched her. He looked at her, "So tell me something about yourself." He said.

Nova shrugged, "They have been my friends forever." She said. She took a sip of her beer, then looked at him. "Why do you hang out with your friends?" She asked. Nova smiled, "You have to pick the next shot." She said.

She shrugged. “What do you want to know?” She asked curiously, holding her glass in both hands and drawing circles into the condensation. “Most people don’t bother to ask so I don’t usually tell,” She laughed and sat back in the booth. “I love 70s and 80s rock. That’s something most people don’t know I guess. I really like Pat Benatar. My favorite color is that shade between purple and blue.” She told him before looking at the table. It felt weird to her telling him about her like this. She shook it off and looked back at him, her eyes scrunched up in a tight smile. “Boring stuff though, what about you?” She asked, pushing her glass away and leaning forward again. “What can you tell me about you?”

He smiled and ordered two jager bombs. “These aren’t my favorite but I once spent an entire day drinking just these. Really changes your outlook on life when you can’t walk. You ever done anything like that?” He explained, downing the shot and taking another sip from his beer. “I hang out with them because they’re entertaining when they’re not being stupid.”

Drew shrugged, "I don't usually do anything to interesting. I spend most of my time playing football and do homework so i can keep playing football." He said, laughing. Drew sighed, "I like going to rock concerts though." He said.

Nova smiled as she looked at the jagerbombs. "I actually really like these, but they are very dangerous." She said. Nova took the shot with him and listened to him. "You think your friends are stupid?" She asked. Nova took a sip of her beer and looked at him. "Okay my turn." She said as she got up and went to the bar. She got them two shots of tequila and returned. She set it in front of him and sat down.

“You must be a model student,” She teased him. “Ever skipped class? Stayed out all night? When’s the last time you did something you weren’t supposed to?” She asked him. She did her homework occasionally, only enough to pass and she’d failed plenty of classes from skipping. “What kind of music do you like?”

He raised his eyebrows as she brought back tequila. “You’re something,” He said, chuckling and taking the shot. “You met them, aren’t they? Good friends, but they can be stupid and sometimes they’re actually stupid.”

Drew chuckled, "I have done a few things." He said. "I can get kicked off the team pretty easily." He said. Drew was glad when his food came. He began to eat, "I like metal. A little of everything depending on my mood." He said.

Nova smiled, "What you don't like Tequila?" She asked. She took her shot then shrugged, "They seemed alright." She said. Nova took a sip of her beer, "Your turn." She said.

She smiled. “I think you could benefit from good old fashion rule breaking,” She told him, smiling even wider when her food arrived. She took a bite and looked at him. “One thing I do sometimes, is go to old places and take pictures. Involves trespassing occasionally,” She shrugged. “You might like it.”

He smiled and finished his beer. “I don’t mind it, but I’m thinking maybe you want to slow down?” He asked an eyebrow raised as he ordered them another one. “They’re fine when they want to be. You might get along with them,” He laughed a little.

Drew smiled, "I think we can do that." He said. He took a bite of his food. He looked at her then took a sip of his water. "actually I will let you pick what we do next." He said

Nova looked at him, "Fine we can take a break from shots if you want." She said. She ordered them two more beers though. She looked over as his friends walked in. She was not surprised they showed up. Nova took a sip of his beer, "You are so popular." She teased him. After a few hours a drinking Nova was drunk but not in a annoying or sick way. She was having a lot of fun with all the guys. She smiled as she ordered shots for the guys, smiling as she watched Ryker throw his back.

I was sort of along for the ride,” She smiled sheepishly. “Everything I could think of for fun involves you doing something that might get you kicked off the team, sure you’re up for it?” She teased him and looked at her phone. “How well do you drive?” She asked, pulling out her card for the food. “I’m gonna make sure you’re not sleeping tonight,” She told him, texting a number quickly and looking down when it went off.

Ryker laughed as one of his friends told a joke that made no sense but he was having too good a time to care. He was surprised at Nova, she seemed to fit in well, and the guys liked having her there.
Nick raised his eyebrows. “So you slept over?” He asked, teasing Ryker.

“Her dad woke us up, thought he was gonna try to kill me,” He told him laughing. “It was weird but whatever.”

Tovan shrugged. “She’s fun though, I like her. You’re cool, Nova,” He said simply, throwing another shot back after cheering to her.

Drew smiled as she pulled her card out. He slid it back to her then paid. He smirked as he got up, "I said we can do whatever you want." He said. He pulled his jacket on and walked out with her, his hand moving to the small of her back. "Where to?" He asked once they were the car.

Nova smiled at Taven, "Well duh, Im the best." She said, smiling. She sat next to Ryker as they all continued to drink. She leaned against him as they partied for the night. She was surprised when she seen what time it was. "Holy shit is it really that late?" She asked, laughing. She looked at Ryker, "Your a bad influence." She said, her face inches from his.

She shrugged and put her card back into her wallet, she wouldn’t fight him on it but she offered every so often. She went out to his car and climbed in, pulling out her phone. “Drive our to the east side of town, by the bridge and I’ll tell you where to go from there,” She told him, watching as he did and then directing him the rest of the way. They ended up under the overpass and as they turned a corner they were suddenly surrounded by other cars and a group of people. “Street racing, super fun and also super illegal,” She smiled a little, pointing to a space over on the side. “Park over there, and we can watch.” She told him, climbing out of the car and standing in front of the hood.

He smirked and shrugged. “Can’t tell me you’re surprised now, can you?” He asked, taking another shot and smiling. “Why, you’ve got to leave?” He asked her, finishing his beer and waving over for another. “You wanted to know what I did for fun, stay out.”

Drew parked the car and smirked as he got out. "Alright, this I like." He said. He leaned against the hood and watched. He was kind of excited about doing something like this. "Do you do this all the time?" He asked as he put his arm around her.

Nova smiled, "No, i am not leaving." She said before she ordered another beer. Nova smiled, "But, I can not go home like this." She said, laughing.

Taven smirked, "You can stay at my house. Well both of you." He said, knowing that Ryker wouldn't want to take her to his house.

Nova smiled, "Okay." She said, before she did a shot with them. She grabbed her phone and texted her dad telling him she was staying at Ambers. She then texted her friend to tell her to cover for her. "There all done." She said laughing softly. "We need more Jagerbombs." She told them, smiling as Taven ordered more.
