A Royal Love

Harry knew just for his grandmother's reaction that this was definitely the talk of the family. He knew that the older woman would be more than okay with it. However, he couldn't help but wonder what he own father or brother thought about this. Quickly releasing himself from his dazed off moment, a bright, appreciative smile appeared on Harry face once more. He was looking directly at his Grandmother this time. "Thank you, Grandmother." Nodding as he stepped forward to kiss her lightly on the cheek. "I know this is all very sudden, but we do have other news to share..." He went on to explain, giving her the knowing look.

Queen Elizabeth stared at her youngest grandson with a eyebrow rose, "More news? I don't think I should be standing. Come let's go sit." She motioned them as she walked into the library and made her way over to a small love seat. Sitting down on it she stared at the young couple. "So you're getting married, what else do you have to share my dear boy?" She smiled.

Queen Elizabeth stared at her youngest grandson with a eyebrow rose, "More news? I don't think I should be standing. Come let's go sit." She motioned them as she walked into the library and made her way over to a small love seat. Sitting down on it she stared at the young couple. "So you're getting married, what else do you have to share my dear boy?" She smiled.

Harry looked to his Grandmother. How in the world was he going to tell her that on top of being engaged to this lovely woman that they were also expecting a baby already. He blinked a couple of times, looking over to Cheryl for a second then back to his Grandmother. "Well Grandmother..." He started, clearing his throat a little. "Cheryl and I...are...um...expecting..." He said, quickly wondering and slightly fearing what the elderly woman was going to say to him.

Sitting there staring at her grandson. Quiet unsure how to process it. How to accept it. He was her favorite grandson, there was no denying it. But this. This couldn't happen. Not by the roayls. She had no idea what to do, or how to handle this. After a few moments, she let a long sigh escape her lips. "Harry, how could you?" She questioned. "You know the rules, and you know this won't be accepted." She warned him.

Harry knew that his grandmother was right. This was one of the biggest no-no's with the royals. When she sighed, Harry knew that this wasn't good, but he had to be optimistic. Not just for his own sake but for Cheryl's and now their baby's as well. "I know....I know..." He said, not really sure what else to say. There was nothing really that could be said. However, he had to tell his grandmother this, whether she liked it or not.

Frowning Cheryl twisted the ring on her finger knowing this was becoming a nightmare fast. She had excused herself earlier and waited outside the door while Harry talked to his grandmother. Frowning at the way she was talking, Cheryl knew it was best if she fled, and went home. Left Harry alone, and forgot about everything. Asking a servant to help her to the exit, she did just that going to catch the next plan back to California.

Sitting there rubbing her temples, Elizabeth took and sighed to herself staring at her grandson. "I love you, my dear boy." She spoke. "We'll figure this out. I know it isn't accepted. But we'll figure this out. I can see it in your eyes. You love this girl." Elizabeth spoke to him.
