Glitter and Gold

Ariana gently placed her hand on his elbow as he guided her to his car. She couldn't help the sharp intake of breath she took as the flashy car pulled up in front of them. It was different from the one she had seen him in before, and put her own even more to shame than before.

She allowed him to help her in to the car, almost nervous to touch anything for fear she may leave greasy finger stains behind. "Thank you for giving me a ride, it's a lovely car" she told him softly.

Stanley smiled softly, "Thank you, I like to keep my options open," he said lightly. He moved around to the driver's side and climbed inside. He looked over at her, "Please relax, get comfortable," he said softly.

He carefully pulled out onto the road. It was barely noticeable that the car was moving, unless you looked out the window. He looked over at her, "I honestly just want you to be comfortable and enjoy yourself, I enjoy having you around," he said softly. He continued to focus on the road, and drove towards the movie theater.

Ariana smiled as she played around with a couple of the buttons in the centre console, laughing softly as she figured out what they all do. "thank you... That's nice to hear" she told him gently, seeing the movie theatre up ahead. "What were you hoping to go see?"

Stanley relaxed slightly as he drove up to the theatre. He found a park and pulled into it. "I was thinking the new film by that French director, It hear it's quite an interesting watch, but if you had another movie in mind," he said lightly. He looked over at her again, savoring the view of her in his car, she was certainly a sight to remember.

He climbed out of the car and made his way around to her door, opening it for her.

Ariana smiled sweetly and nodded "yeah that sounds pretty cool, is it a foreign film, like with subtitles?" She asked him, delicately getting out of the car, making sure to keep herself covered in the short skirt. Ari let her hand wrap around his upper arm again as he lead her in to the cinema. She tried her hardest to hold her head high, looking as confident as she possibly could.

"I'll just get a soda and some Skittles" she told the lady behind the counter kindly.

Stanley nodded gently, "Yeah some parts are in French, but there will be subtitles," he said softly. He led her into the theater and over to the counter to buy them some tickets and snacks. He simply ordered a water, and some popcorn.

He smiled at her, and walked with her into screening room. "So have you been enjoying tonight?" he asked her softly. He wanted to know whether she would prefer spending time together in a different way, than dinner; like sightseeing or shopping.

Ariana nodded at him, turning her head to face him as the entered the screen room. She offered him a smile as they made their way to the seats. She settled in, glancing at him every couple of minutes as they waited for the movie to start. "Tonight had been Great Stanley, thank you" she said kindly,growing quieter as the movie started up.

She rested her head on her hand, checking her watch every now and again. She hoped Sophia was okay but she didn't want to seem rude checking her phone.

Stanley smiled softly, and nodded. He sat quietly, as the movie played. He had been smart and picked a movie that had a short running time, and the lights came back up at just before 11. He looked over at her again, "well that was an interesting film, what did you think?" he asked her.

He stood up and offered her his hand.

Ariana took his hand to help her up, smiling at him awkwardly "oh yeah it was great, didn't see that ending coming" she said with a laugh. In honestly she had been too distracted to pay attention to the subtitles and didn't have a clue what was going on for most of it. She let him lead her out to his car, smiling as she saw there was no messages from the babysitter, which meant everything was fine.

"So, what are you up to now that you're finished with that other company" she asked.

Stanley smiled softly, noticing that she seemed distracted. He opened the door for her. "Well I have a lot more free time, but I'll be checking in on my other businesses for awhile," he said lightly. He closed the door behind her, and climbed into the drivers seat, heading back to the restaurant.

"I might head to Paris for a couple days next month," he commented. He looked at her gently, "you're welcome to join me for that if you want," he said.

Ariana's eyes brightened for a second at the thought of seeing some of Europe before she lightly shook her head. "that k youStan, I would love to but I have a little too much going on right now" she told him sweetly, touching his knee lightly as he drove.

"Do you go to Europe on business often?" She asked him, her eyes flickering between him and the road as she watched to make sure he was heading for the restaurant. She had trained herself too well to be on the lookout for anything strange on a date.

Stanley smiled softly, "That's perfectly fine, I'll you up something nice, while I'm there," he said softly. He pulled up outside the restaurant. "I go pretty much when it suits me, or if something goes wrong," he said lightly. He smiled gently, at her, "thank you for you company," he said lightly. He climbed out and got her door for her again.

Ari chuckled as he opened her door for her, shaking her head gently "I don't think I've ever gotten such a Royal treatment in my life" she teased him, pulling her bag of her shoulder as she stood facing him.

"Thank you for tonight, it was lovely" she told him kindly, placing a gentle kiss on his cheek. "Same time next week?" She asked softly.

Stanley smiled softly, "well you deserve it Ari," he said lightly. He blushed when she kissed him, "If you want, I'll see you Friday at work, we can discuss it," he said softly.

Ari looked at him, a little stumped for a second. She hadn't realised he was still gonna come see her at the club. "Ah yeah sure..I've stripped back my hours though, I'll be finishing at 6" she told him with a smile. She was excited about it,for the first time in almost 6 months she was going to get to bring Sophia to a mommy and baby dance class.

She waved him goodbye and headed towards her car.

Stanley nodded softly glad she had warned him about the change in her hours. He smiled gently, "I'll see you sometime before 6 then," he said softly. He offered her a light wave, as she headed off to his car. He climbed back into his own vehicle and headed back to his place.

He felt that tonight had gone fairly well, and hoped that Ari had enjoyed herself.

Ari got in to her car, putting on her glasses to drive in the dark. She waved as she passed him in the parking lot before pulling out and heading home as fast as she could. She was happy to get home to her little girl, and was happy to have a little more time to spend with her this week.

Once Friday rolled around, she got ready for her shift, thrilled at the thought of being finished at 6, but she knew she needed to go straight from here to pick up Sophia, so her makeup and hair was a lot more understated than usual as she headed out o the floor.

Stanley headed home, and relaxed down to a drink. He drifted off to sleep on his couch. Over the next couple days, he spent a lot of his time on the phone, checking in with all of his businesses. He was looking forward to seeing her on Friday.

At around 3 that afternoon, he made his way inside the club. He made his way to the bar, and ordered himself a drink, before finding a booth, to sit in quietly. He spotted Ariana from across the room and offer a small wave.

Ariana saw somebody waving at her from across the room, and it took her a minute to realise it was Stanley. She gave a small wave back, nibbling on her lip softly. She had just been about to take this man for a private dance, she knew it would be unprofessional to reject him for another client, but something in the very back of her mind made her feel guilty doing that right I front of Stanley.

She thought quickly before speaking "You know what sir, I'm going to be heading on my break soon.. how about I get you one of the girls who can give you more of her attention" she told him, auickly motioning for one of the other to come to the table before heading towards Stanley. "Hello, how are you" she said, her voice low as her slinky dress hugged her hips while she walked.

Stanley smiled seeing her from across the room. He straightened his outfit, as she approached. "Evening Ariana," he said softly. He smiled at her gently, "I'm good, been busy with phonecalls most of the day," he told her.

He offered her the seat next to him, as his eyes focused on her face. "How about you?" he asked
