Ryker chuckled, "I'm just looking out for you. Some of those guys you hang out with are assholes." He said. He took a sip of his drink, "Nothing really. I just hung out with my dad and worked on his car." He explained. Ryker smiled, "It was a lot of fun." He told her. He loved spending time with his dad because he could talk about anything without feeling like he was going to be judged.

Lennox shoved him playfully, "Oh shut up. I was not staring." She said. She relaxed, "And you aren't suppose to be free climbing anymore remember? Or do you want another broken arm?" She teased him. She ran her fingers through her hair as she looked at the view. She didn't like to think about bad stuff happening to Cameron. She felt like he was the only one she really had left.

Nova smiled as he finally let it go and talked about his dad. She always thought his parents where so typical of what a parent should be. She never really got that with her parents. Maybe a little when her dad was teaching her to drive but even that ended up in an argument. Nova smiled and nodded. "Sounds like it." she said and leaned against the counter. "Do you know what you want to do when you grow up?" she asked curious. What was it Ryker was passionate about now a days.

Cameron chuckled and playfully rubbed her head. "I know but it wasn't my fault the rock crumbled when I grabbed onto it. Besides I caught myself and managed to get to safety with a broken arm. It's pretty impressive." he winked at her. "How ever will I get better at it if I don't practice?" he asked and pulled her closer to him. "But since when has it mattered to you if I am reckless? I think I still remember the first time we kissed was because I landed a particularly difficult jump." he smirked. They had been at a party in the cliffs and he had flipped off a bolder onto another bolder across the gorge. It had been maybe 8 feet but backwards it as a long jump. He had bargained for a kiss if he made it and had won that bet.

Ryker smirked, "Honestly i am thinking about working on cars. It really just relaxes me." He said to her. He took a sip of his drink, "What about you?" He asked. Ryker couldnt believe that soon they would have to decide what they would do for the rest of their lives.

Lennox rolled her eyes playfully, "I dont think you need to get good at that." She said. She rested her head on his shoulder. "Well that was before you started hurting yourself." She said. She looked at him, "Plus you are kind of all i have so maybe stay in one piece." She said.

Nova chuckled. "Like a mechanic?" She smiled. "You have always had a knack for cars." she said sometimes thinking he understood them almost better than he did people and he was good at people, take her for example. Nova sighed as he asked what she would do. She ran her hand through her hair. "You're always asking difficult questions. Hell Ryker I don't know I am just trying to get through high school. I wake up every morning wondering what I am doing here and go to bed every night hoping to not have to do it all again tomorrow." she shrugged. "I guess if I where to really think about it I would want to create something. Something people would really take notice in, that would sir them up inside but I don't even know where to start." she said and bit her lip looking off out of the shop. She had experimented with some spray paint and thought that was fun but what was she trying to say to the world? Nova sighed getting a text from her mom. "Shit." she sighed as she read it. "Come one mom want to know where I am let's send her a picture." she leaned into him and smiled happily taking the picture and sending it off.

Cameron smiled. "Yeah but it would be hella cool." he said and smiled shrugging. "It was like the first time I got hurt climbing. The other time was with a bike and I would have been fine if the bike hadn't trapped my ankle!" he chuckled and looked up at her frowning. "Lex... You have more than just me." he said and sat up cupping the back of her neck. He looked into her eyes and stroked her neck with his thumb. "You have your gran and Ryker and well you know we're here for you. Don't worry Lex." he said and pressed his forehead to hers. It broke his heart that she felt that alone without him. What was he suppose to do about that?

Ryker smiled when she wanted to take a picture. He let her send it to her mom. "She is really worried about you." He teased her. Ryker took a sip of his drink, "So when you figure out your amazing job in life you let me know." He teased her.

Lennox looked at him, "Yea but you are the only one I really tell stuff to." She said as she kissed him. Lennox pulled away slowly, "Sorry, I shouldnt be telling you all of this." She said.

Nova nodded. "I know she is but she can't help me figure myself out. She laughed as Ryker teased her. "I don't think it will be amazing. Honestly I will be amazed if I make any money doing what completes me at all." she said and chuckled. Nova sighed and pulled her hair over her shoulder looking at him. I'll probably be a starving artist or beach bum." she chuckled and knew honestly that it could be a real thing for her. It would be just her luck to actually find fulfillment in something there was no money in. "This summer we should on a road trip." She said and thought about it realizing if she was ever going to do that she would never want to go with anyone other than Ryker.

Cameron kissed her back and sighed as she pulled away. "And why exactly shouldn't you tell me? Afraid I might run away? Who else are you going to tell all the things to?" he looked into her eyes and cupped her cheek. "You worry to much Lex. You can't scare me away that easy. You're kind of stuck with me." he said and then stood. "You feeling hungry yet or you want to try repelling before we eat?" he asked and finished his water looking down at her.

Ryker smiled, "I think beach bum suits you better." He said. He took a sip of his drink, "Yea we should go on a road trip that would be a lot of fun." He said. Ryker had wanted to do a road trip for awhile. He knew that Nova wohld make it fun.

Lennox shrugged, "I dont want to make my issues your issuses." She said. Lennox smiled, "Lets repel then eat." She said. She got up then walked with him. When they were ready she repelled with him. She smiled as they got on the ground. She helped him gather his stuff then walked to his truck. "You ready to eat?" She asked as she handed him one of the bags.

Nova laughed and shook her head. "Gee thanks!" she smacked his arm. She was glad he agreed to the road trip. "I think it really could be. Which way do you want to go do you know?" she asked him and wondered if their parents would let them. She knew her parents loved Ryker and thought that he was the best influence on her. Honestly she was surprised that his parents didn't see her as the worst influence on their son.

Cameron sighed. "I wouldn't worry about that Lex." he said. Cameron smiled as they repelled watching her take the dive her life in his hands as he held her rope helping her to repel. Once they where both on the ground he nodded as she mentioned food. "Hell yes let's eat!" he said and put his trunk down and laid out a blanket in the back brining out the food in the cooler back there and handing her more water then food. Cameron sat in the back of his truck and looked at her as he ate. He was really glad she came to so this with him. "Thanks for coming a long. I know it's more of my thin but I really enjoy sharing it with you." he said and sipped his water.

Ryker thought about it, "I dont know maybe we could like go south and then when we come back we can come through the north." He suggested. "We would have to map it out of course." He said. He took a sip of his drink as they talked about it.

Lennox sat with him and began to eat, "Yea well someone has to do this with you. We know Ryker wont." She said, laughing softly. Lennox finished her food then laid on the back of his truck while she waited for him to finish eating. She smiled as she ran her finger tips over his back and smiled as he shivered a little.

Nova smiled and nodded. "That would be fun." she said and nodded. "I will let you map it out and I will just find the fun stops along the way." she said and pushed her empty glass away. "Now we just have to convince my folks." she said and chuckled. "What have you always wanted to do?" she asked him curiously.

Cameron laughed. "I bet I could convince him to do it once." he said and smiled. "If I got Nova to do it." he laughed and finished eating not to much longer after her. He looked back at her as she ran her fingers down his bare skin. "What got something on your mind?" he asked and rolled over so he was pinning her down to his truck looking into her eyes. Cameron smiled softly. He loved to tease her.

Ryker smiled, "I don't think that your parents would mind if you went on a road trip with me. They love me." He said laughing a little. He looked at his drink, "I mean I would like to go to Hawaii, but that will be later on in life." He said. "I don't really know if I want to do anything else." He said, chuckling.

Nova nodded. They did love him but still they would want to know where and for how long and they where still young. He mentioned Hawaii and she smiled. "That does sound nice." she said and smiled at him thinking about him in Hawaii. Nova wished that was something she could help him experience.

Ryker smiled, "I will talk to your parents and we will be on our way to an awesome road trip in no time." He said, smiling. Ryker finished his drink and paid for them. "You ready?" He asked.

Nova grinned. She walked out with him and thanked him for the drink. She hadn't expected him to pay but it was nice for once that someone was looking out for her. Nova slipped into his car and looked over at him. It was odd, he wasn't the same little kid he use to be anymore. Nova was seeing a different man now and didn't know what to think about it. Nova smiled and buckled up leaning back as they drove off. "Ryker when did you grow up?" she asked and chuckled.
