Riley heard the door down stare close, letting out a sigh she dropped the clothing she'd picked for the day down on the bed. Setting down beside it she frowned, she actually felt bad for not going. She could see the hurt look on his face even though he tried to hide it, he'd been trying and she'd shut the door in his face. Knowing this was something she chose to do she needed pull her head together and focus on what he needed as well. After sitting there for so long she realized what time it was before she quickly started to change. Grabbing her brush she ran it through her hair before throwing it up. Moving down to the kitchen she started to riffle through the cabinets and refrigerator. Finding more food than she could imagine. Shaking her head she decided to make him lunch, after all he was trying. She knew she'd have to learn a few more recipes since back at home things were limited. Quickly throwing together a salad, she drained the meat. She wondered if he would even be willing to try it. Placing herself a
plate down on the table she put his in the oven, doing her best to keep it warm.
"Oh she'd didn't have to leave." His mother gushed, "I guess I should have knocked, oh well." She smiled turning to her son. "Good morning." She said to him, waiting till her responded before she continued with why she was here. "Your father is determined to make you work, so today you will be working for me." She smirked before pulling out a piece of paper. "I need you to complete this list before four today, then I expect you and Blair to join your father and I for dinner." She beamed before turning and walking out. Weston sighed as he looked down at the paper. Shaking his head he knew his mother was controlling but this was a new low. The list was a shopping list, but at the very bottom it the last item was the word mate. Shaking his head he ripped the paper managing to keep the part he needed still intact. Standing he started to make his way up stair. If he didn't have a job to do today beside grocery shopping for his mother. Then he'd make plans to do something. Maybe he could go out for another run. "Not at the moment," he answered her. Grabbing a change of clothes he headed into the bathroom to change.
