Once Hayden's paw touched the dirt he shook his fur and took off towards the woods. He ran with Weston. He came to the top of a mountain and howled loudly, hearing Weston howl with him. He loved being able to finally take over and run. He knew he would have to get use to Riley because she was his mate and she would have to be with him a lot. He just couldn't bring himself to be with her. He hated the idea of it. She seemed to hate him as much as he disliked her.
Blair laid awake, staring at the ceiling for a moment. She couldn't fall asleep. She looked over at the window when she heard howls in the distance. She wanted to run so badly. She laid on her said, facing the wall. She closed her eyes starting to fall asleep.

Riley stepped from the shower wrapping a towel around her body. She'd actually felt relaxed in this place, though small things reminded her of home making her miss it all the more. But it was nice not having to rush through a shower, being able to enjoy the water. Back home they had to preserver water and her mother would always knock on the door telling her time was up. It was the one thing she still expected and when it didn't happen she felt her eyes tear up. But after composing herself she knew leaving them was better for them in the long run. Drying her body off she started to pull on a pair of flannel shorts, she knew her mother had sew them out of a her fathers old clothes. Pulling on a tank she started to dry her hair as she moved to the bedroom. Letting her eyes wondered around. Sad to say she was hoping Hayden would come home soon. She was afraid to sleep with out him around, but she knew it was his way of keeping her scared. And she hated it.
Weston felt free as the wind brushed through his fur. Pushing himself hard he could help but feel so at ease. He knew thinking about his problems now wasn't going to happen. He was so care free. As the rested on the mountain he couldn't help but let his body lower to the ground laying their. Panting as he tried to catch his breath, it had been to long since he last ran like this. His parents put to many restrictions on them keeping them close to camp. Tonight was the first time he could remember feeling so relaxed, like he was untouchable and could be stupid and just enjoy being a wolf.

Hayden ran with Weston for what seemed like hours and when he was done he turned back and got dressed. He walked towards his house then looked at Weston, "Night." He said before he walked in. He walked upstairs and took a quick shower before he climbed into bed. He was a little surprised by Riley because he wasnt use to another person. He got comfortable and closed his eyes. His wolf had other ideas when he realized Riley was laying there though. He sighed as he laid on his back and opened his eyes. He tired to calm himself as he thought about something other than Riley.
Blair laid in bed and fell asleep, but woke up when she felt the weight on the bed. She stared at the wall as Weston laid beside of her. The warmth of his body warmed up the whole bed. "How was it?" She whispered. She really wished she could have went along. She wanted to go run so badly, but she knew he wasn't going to let that happen. She let her fingers play with her necklace out of a nervous habit. She bit her bottom lip lightly as she thought about her mom and everything that happened.

Riley crawled into bed, laying there just staring off into the darkness. Ever sound was something new and had her wide awake. It wasn't till she heard his feet on the stairs that she calmed down. His steps were lighter and something felt different. Though she didn't ponder over it letting her eyes fall close as he moved through the room to the bathroom. She could hear the shower start. Happy he wasn't coming to bed smelling of sweat and musky. She felt herself start to nod off. It wasn't till the air in the room thickened, her eyes fluttered open. Facing the wall she was thankful he couldn't tell she was awake, but she didn't know what was going on just it was almost choking her.
Weston smiled when he enter the house and everything was silent. He liked the feeling of home welcoming him. It made him felt like the last twenty four hours hadn't happened. But once he reached his room he knew that wasn't true. He like not having to argue with people and just being able to be. Heading to the shower he wanted to prolong his time away from her. Knowing the sooner he went to sleep the sooner he was to wake and deal with her. Not on the top of his list. Wrapping a towel around his waist as he stepped from the shower he headed into his room, rummaging around in his drawers he found a pair of sweats pulling them on before crawling into bed. Settling down he let his eyes close. "It was fine." He said, not really wanting to talk to her right now.

Hayden closed his eyes and fell asleep. He woke up the next morning and felt her body pressed against his. He pulled away slowly and looked up at the ceiling. He stretched then got out of the bed. He looked at her and then got dressed. He walked downstairs and started breakfast. He decided to make eggs and bacon for them.

    --

Blair bit her bottom lip lightly and knew he didnt want to talk. "Goodnight." She whispered. She closed her eyes and fell asleep. She woke up the next morning, snuggled against Weston. She pulled away when she realized she was against Weston. She felt his arm around her though and stopped when his grip tightened.

Riley's eyes fluttered open, catching the retreating figure of Hayden. Rolling over she wondered why him getting up woke her. Yawning she closed her eyes trying her best to go back to sleep. Yesterday had been to much for her to handle. All the worry for nothing, but it's what he'd wanted. She knew this was all a game for him. Drifting in and out of sleep, her eyes popped open when the smell of bacon wafted into the room. Sitting up she looked at the door warily, wondering if he was just teasing her. Making himself some and forgetting her. She knew she was trying to find the worst in him even though she should be looking for the best. Dragging herself from the bed, she knew they'd have to really talk today. Not just go at each other's throat. Stumbling into the kitchen she was surprised to see him standing shirtless cooking.
"Night." He murmured thankful she wasn't going to push him now. He was rather relaxed and enjoying himself. He just wanted to sleep and not worry about anything else right now. He's mind had been to full lately and he just needed piece. Letting out a yawn before relaxing into the bed, slowly drifting off. A soft groan left his lips as he felt movement, he didn't know why he was being woken from his dreams. It wasn't till he tried to pull the cover closer that he realized he wasn't actually touching the blanket. His eyes shot open, the weight on his chest undeniable. Clearing his throat he let go of her quickly, stretching out as he rolled away from her. He wondered what had happened to make them cuddle together. Quickly pulling himself from bed he headed into the bathroom.

Hayden smirked as he offered her a plate of food, "Hungry?" He asked. He got himself a plate and sat down. He began to stuff his face then buttered his toast. He was starving and he knew he had a long day ahead of him. He could eat a lot of food and he wasnt ashamed of that. Hayden took a sip of his drink before he went back to eating.

    --

Blair got up and did her make up and brushed her hair. She got dressed in a pair of jeans and a tank top. She walked downstairs and made biscuits and gravy. She decided to at least make him food. She felt like it was more her wolf that was influencing her niceness. She sat down at the table and began to eat as he came down the stairs. She didnt want to bring up the snuggling from the night before. She didnt want want to admit that she liked it.

Riley froze when he offered her a plate. She was shocked he was being polite. Moving to the table she took a seat before nibbling on her food. "Is there anything I should be doing today?" She asked, knowing that in the morning when they have breakfast her father would tell them the plain of the day. She knew that it might still be early since she became a member of this pack but that didn't mean she wouldn't help out where needed.
Weston left the bathroom thankful she wasn't around, moving to his dresser he pulled out some clothes for the day. After changing he headed down stairs. Moving to the kitchen he froze as he noticed she'd cooked for him. Moving to the fridge he pulled out one of his shakes. He wasn't big on breakfast, but he'd been told he needed to eat more. Looking over what she made he quickly made himself a plate before settling down at the table. "Looks good." He told her before trying it, he may not have liked her but that didn't stop him from being polite like his mother taught him.

Hayden shrugged, "I mean not that I can think of. i have to do a walkthrough of the village." He said. "You can come with me if you want to." He offered. He didn't know if she would want to tag along with him though. Hayden finished his food and cleaned off his plate.

    --

Blair nodded, "Yea it's pretty good." She said as she began to eat. When she finished she washed her plate. She cleaned up the kitchen then sat down at the table. "So what do you have to do today?" She asked him. She didnt know how they did things in his pack.

Riley looked at him, surprised he'd even offered. "Wow, you sure you want me to tag along?" She questioned him, blinking at him slightly confused. Before taking the last bite of her eggs. "Want this?" She asked motioning to her bacon. She wasn't one for wasting food, but he'd made rather a lot for her. "So is this something you do daily?" She questioned him, knowing a walk through wasn't usually a big deal for her group.
Weston finished up his food as she set down next to him. Shrugging at her question he shook his head. "Not a lot, usually my mother comes by and tells me what my dad wants me to do." He shrugged, knowing he didn't have a lot of things he normally did. Though the older he got the more thing he had to do. Not that he minded, it was like a right of passage. As the guys got older they started to take the mature males places in protection and running the pack. But it wasn't until the Alpha knew they were ready for that. It was why he was being asked to mate now, so he could get that milestone out of the way.

Hayden nodded, "Yea it is what I normally do. As we get older we get more responsiblities." He said. He knew he had a lot he would have to take on in the next few years. He took the bacon she had left over and began to eat. He felt like he was never full. "So you want to come?" He asked as he pulled his jacket on.

    ---

Blair nodded, "So you don't do much then?" SHe asked. She could tell he was still having trouble with concersation. She understood that though because they had been told their whole lives that they were suppose to be enemies.

Riley looked at him, watching as he put on his jacket. "I think I'll pass this go round." She told him standing up. She still needed to get ready for the day and she didn't want to keep him from doing his chores. Taking her plate to the sink she quickly washed it off, "I don't want to keep you from your responsibility." She said then headed up stairs to get changed out of her night clothes.
"I do plenty." He told her feeling very defensive of his role in the pack. He didn't like being told he was lazy. He figured that he mother hadn't come over because she wanted grand babies and expected them to be mating all the time. Shaking the thoughts from his head he got up taking his plate to the skin placing it down before heading back up stairs.

Hayden nodded, "Okay. Another time then." He said before he walked out. He walked through the village and checked on people and made conversation. Though most people were pissed about the new arrangement. He sighed as he found his dad talking to someone. He kind of hated the idea of going home because she distanced herself from him so much.

    --

Blair noticed how defensive he got and it was kind of amusing. She looked over as his mom walked in. She got up and left the two to talk. Blair looked at Weston as he came into the bedroom. She ran her fingers through her hair, "I take it you'll be leaving now?" She asked. She stood up, thinking about what she was going to do while he was gone. She wanted to go run really bad.

Riley heard the door down stare close, letting out a sigh she dropped the clothing she'd picked for the day down on the bed. Setting down beside it she frowned, she actually felt bad for not going. She could see the hurt look on his face even though he tried to hide it, he'd been trying and she'd shut the door in his face. Knowing this was something she chose to do she needed pull her head together and focus on what he needed as well. After sitting there for so long she realized what time it was before she quickly started to change. Grabbing her brush she ran it through her hair before throwing it up. Moving down to the kitchen she started to riffle through the cabinets and refrigerator. Finding more food than she could imagine. Shaking her head she decided to make him lunch, after all he was trying. She knew she'd have to learn a few more recipes since back at home things were limited. Quickly throwing together a salad, she drained the meat. She wondered if he would even be willing to try it. Placing herself a plate down on the table she put his in the oven, doing her best to keep it warm.
"Oh she'd didn't have to leave." His mother gushed, "I guess I should have knocked, oh well." She smiled turning to her son. "Good morning." She said to him, waiting till her responded before she continued with why she was here. "Your father is determined to make you work, so today you will be working for me." She smirked before pulling out a piece of paper. "I need you to complete this list before four today, then I expect you and Blair to join your father and I for dinner." She beamed before turning and walking out. Weston sighed as he looked down at the paper. Shaking his head he knew his mother was controlling but this was a new low. The list was a shopping list, but at the very bottom it the last item was the word mate. Shaking his head he ripped the paper managing to keep the part he needed still intact. Standing he started to make his way up stair. If he didn't have a job to do today beside grocery shopping for his mother. Then he'd make plans to do something. Maybe he could go out for another run. "Not at the moment," he answered her. Grabbing a change of clothes he headed into the bathroom to change.

Hayden sighed as he walked onto the porch of his house. He walked in and smelled the food that was cooking. He was honestly surprised that she had made him food. He sat down, "What all did you do today?" He asked as he took his jacket off. He knew he really wanted to go for a run but he couldn't do it twice in a row. His dad would be mad if he ditched her for two nights.

    --

Blair watched as he went in the bathroom then got up and walked out of the bedroom. She walked out of the house then went into the forest, moving away from the village. She changed into her wolf form, revealing a beautiful white wolf. They were rare anymore and she was one of the last ones. Blair took off into the woods, finally feeling at ease. She couldnt stand being trapped in a house for so long.

Riley was surprised when he enter the kitchen, she'd been so lost in her own thoughts she'd missed the sound of the door. Turning to look at him she smiled softly. "Nothing really." She didn't want to tell him that she'd spent most of the day moping around. Moving to the oven she pulled his plate out before placing it down at the table. "Sit." She told him before moving to the fridge, she pulled out some dressing for the salad and then a picture of tea she'd made. Poor them both a glass before returning it to the fridge.
Weston was in the middle of changing when he heard the door close. Dropping his shirt to the floor he quickly exited the room, walking through the house. He stopped when he got to the door realizing she wasn't in the house. "Damn it." He growled before taking off after her. Her scent was still fresh to him, so he followed it into the forest. Groaning he quickly phased before taking off after her. The one thing his father had told him, not to let her leave the camp alone, and he'd done it. Did she want him to lock her up, because if she couldn't talk to him about her wants then he'd have to do something to keep her from taking off.

Hayden sat down and looked at the salad that was put in front of him. "Looks good." He said. He put some dressing on the salad and began to eat. He poured himself some tea then took a sip of it. He was glad she didnt seem to be hating him to badly. Hayden took a bite od his food, "Thanks for making this." He said.

    --

Blair ran and stopped when she smelled Weston. She growled slightly then took off running again. She knew he was going to try to make her go back. She moved to a rock behind him as he walked through the forest. When he looked back at her her wold growled at him. His wolf was huge but she assumed he would be.

Riley offered him a small smile, "your welcome." She knew it was only a matter of time before the claws came back out. They were bound to annoy each other, but she was ready for it after all she'd volunteered so she knew this wasn't going to be a walk in the park. Tucking into her salad she sighed she wondered if he was going to let her go out and do things or if she was to stay trapped inside the rest of her time here. She knew that he wolf would eventually want to run away, but she wasn't matured all the way so her wolf was still a bit docile.
Weston finally caught up to her a soft sigh left his body as he sat down before her. Her wolf was beautiful, but he was to peeved to really care right now. Tilting his head he watched her as she growled at him. He knew he should show her dominance, it would be rather easy for him. She was after all going to be his mate, he would would submit to him. Though he didn't want that he had no intention of forcing her to be his mate. He didn't want her as his mate, this was a choice he father made. Though his wolf on the other had didn't care about love, he wanted to control the rouge wolf and put her in her place. But he just sat there wondering if she was done yet. If so then he would accompany her on her run, and before he made them go back. He still had things to do for his mother but right now it would have to wait.

Hayden sighed, "My parents are coming over later." He said. Usually they stopped in for a visit and he liked it. Sometimes he got lonely, but he didnt think he would feel that way anymore now that she was here. Hayden finish his food then poured himself more to drink. "I guess i will have to get us some more food." He said. He really only had enough for himself.

    --

Blair watched as he sat down then slowly eased up. She watched him for a moment before she turned and ran off. She knew he would follow her. She was just glad he wasnt going to force her to go back. Blair hated sitting inside and she knew that was what they wanted right now.

Riley nodded hearing his words about his parents. She'd met them last night and they didn't seem to bad. Though before she could ask he started talking about getting more food. "Have you seen what you have?" She questioned him, if he thought he didn't have enough someone else must have stock his house then. Changing the subject back to his parents coming over, "do you want me to cook something for them?" She asked wondering if they were coming over for dinner or just a late night visit.
Weston sighed as she took off, he followed close behind her. He was rather thankful that she wasn't pushing back against him being here. After all she'd have to get used to him tagging along till they were mated. He didn't know what it was about mates but every time they were apart it was like they weren't happy until they could see their mate. His father was very good at keeping his head focused on what they were doing but he could see it in his face he missed his mother more than he let on. Weston wanted it, or he had. But she wasn't what her parents approved of and it hurt to know that he was having to choose between his pack and his heart. Though he knew he couldn't betray his pack, he wasn't equipped to be a lone wolf.
