Mallory sighed as the sleek black car she sat in pulled up outside the large, old style building she was to call home for the forseable future. The house looked cold and ancient, certainly not somewhere she could picture herself enjoying being. She bit her lip nervously pulling her purple Swede jacket tighter around her as she picked up her bags and walked towards the door nervously.

As she was climbing the front steps, she stumbled, her boot catching on an overgrown briar. "Shit" she mumbled under her breath, dropping her bag on the ground as she struggled to untangle herself. She groaned loudly beginning to scoop her things back in to her bag.

"Let me help you!" Silas called out, rushing toward this blonde girl he saw struggling to carry her things inside. He thought it a little strange, he passed this house almost every day on his way to school and he had never taken much notice of it, he hadn't seen that it was up for sale, it seemed weird to him that somebody would be moving in. He began to help the girl with her things, looking up as he noticed the door of the house opening.

Mal gasped slightly as she suddenly realised there was a guy beside her placing her things back in her bag. Her hand grazed off his and she shuddered back as her mind was filled with images of moons and forestry. She shook her slightly trying to plaster a smile on her face. "Do you stay here to-.." she began to ask when she followed the bogs gaze, looking up and realising there were people watching from the doorway.

Blair played with her hair as she walked through the small street fair that was downtown. She was glad to finally have some free time away from the house. She noticed some guy annoying a girl and used her powers to knock something over causing him to fall. She giggled as she kept walking. She stopped when she realized something strong near by. She glanced over, seeing a dark haired guy, watching her. Had he seen her do magic. She decided that it would be fun to go talk to him. As she got closer she realized what he was. A wolf. She appeared beside of him as he looked at something at one of the stands. "I didn't think it was safe for your kind of be out and about." She said, smiling as she looked up at him. She twirled a piece of her hair as he looked her over. She knew she was very alluring and she just liked to have a good time with everyone. "I'm Blair by the way." She said, offering him her hand. She smiled as he went to talk, "Silas right?" She asked him. She was good a reading people. She smiled, "Sorry I guess I should let you talk." She said, laughing a little.
Ezra walked down the hallway as he was told that the new witch had arrived. He was suppose to show her the ropes and teach her what the coven wanted. He knew that she was not aloud to know what she was really there for though. He smirked as he came down the stairs to greet her. "Welcome." He said, smiling. "I'm Ezra, you must be Mallory." He said as he offered his hand to her. "Let me show you to your room. Then, I can show you all around." He said. He took her bags and led her upstairs. "I assume that they told you a little about the house right?" He asked as he walked down the long hallway.

Mallory smiled softly as this guy, Ezra helped her with her things. "Yes Mallory, that would be me.. you can call me Mal if you prefer" she told him softly, wincing slightly as she prepared to shake his hand, but she was a little surprised when she saw nothing. She stared confused for a second but shook it from her thoughts before following him down the long corridor. She gave an uncomfortable laugh "If by they you mean my parents you would be wrong... They didn't know anything about this... I got it from my grandma, apparently it can skip a generation- anyway, she passed away a couple of years ago so I learned everything I could from her old journals. She mentioned this place a lot and we'll, here I am" she said softly scratching at the back of her head.

She looked him up and down quickly as he turned his back to her. He was handsome, but she found herself immediately wary of him. "So... The all balck thing, is tthat a rule?" She asked, trying to humour him gently.

    ****

Silas absentmindedly strolled around looking through the stalls as he waited for his younger brother to be ready to leave. He faltered slightly as he heard a voice behind him mentioning his kind. He tightened up for a minute, sniffing the air. Fucking witches he thought to himself, turning to face the girl, caught a little off-guard by her beauty.

"And I thought they didn't allow your kind out of that asylum up on the hill, I guess we can all surprise one another" he said raising an eyebrow and turning his back to her. He grinned slightly as he realised she wasn't going to leave him alone. "Well Blair, what's a little witch like you doing wandering around a street fair, I thought you were all too good to mingle with the regular folk?" He asked her. He had to admire her ballsiness approaching him head on.

Ezra chuckled, "It is not a rule, but I prefer all black." He said, glancing at her. "I guess it just kind of happens like that. A few of us wear whatever we want." He said. He opened the door to her bedroom, "They have a few lessons each day, but one of the girls will brief you on that. I am here if you have any questions." He explained. "Come on, I will show you the rest of the house. You can move around the house and do whatever you want, but you are not aloud in the office downstairs unless you are called on." He said. He showed her around upstairs, "So do you know how to use any of your magic or are you just learning now?" He asked. He knew that is could be kind of scary when a person notices they have abilities. He opened the door to the kitchen, "Usually everyone eats together, but if you get hungry you can help yourself to the kitchen." He told her.
Blair smiled when he spoke, "Yea well, regular people extremely dull, but you are not regular now are you?" She teased him. She walked with him, looping her arm with his. She clearly didn't care about boundaries. "I know all about your little moonlit strolls." She said, looking at them. "I decided to come down here to see if there was anything interesting and so far you are about as interesting as it gets." She said. Blair let her fingers move over his arm, realizing the scars on his arm, getting flashes of what happened to him. "Someone likes to fight." She teased him. She looked around them, "What made you decide to come here?" She asked him. "I heard there were hunters in town. That could be very dangerous for you." She told him.

Mal nodded quickly as she listened to him, following him back out into the Hall as he talked her through the house. "Okaycool, that all sounds good.. why canrlt I go in the office again?" She asked him, running her hand along the wooden pannelling that covered every wall. She had to admit it was a lot nicer inside than it looked from outside. She shook her head softly, a soft pink flushing her cheeks. "I have never used them on purpose... By accident a couple times" she explained softly. "I get this thing... It where when I touch somebody, it's like I see a little part of them.. uts usually a part they try to hide" she admitted softly, brushing her hair behind her ear.

"I spoke to a friend of my grandmother's.. she was one of you, uh us too. Her mind was beginning to go a little but she said it was strange. She said it was usual for us to be able to glimpse in to a person's life, but only parts which they want to be seen or something.." she said with a shrug "that's when I decided I really needed to come here" she said, realising she was talking an awful lot, but she wasn't used to have one people around who understood what was going on.

    ****

Silas slowly wrapped his hand around hers, untangling her from him. He would rather not be seen getting close to a witch. He ignored her comments, shaking his head slightly. "You know witchy, there is a lot of people in this town who would not appreciate you putting who they are on the street like that, you would want to look after yourself" he said, a slight threat in his voice as he stopped walking to look at her. The teenage boy in him screamed to just let her flirt and have some fun, but the alpha in him stopped him from doing that.

"I can promise you Blair, my pack goes back to long before you witches ever came to town. I wouldn't try making any enemies.. a hunter of my kind will hunt you all the same" he warned her, shaking his head softly. He often wondered what they did up there in hill house, and did they even bother teaching these new witchlings anything about the covenant.

Ezra chuckled, "It is where the head witches meet a lot of the time." He explained to her. "Just hope that you are never called in there because you are most likely in trouble if you do get called on." He said. He stopped when she said she got visions, "Yes that is unusual. Be sure to tell your teacher that. If you can master it then it would be very useful." He said as he walked again. He showed her some of the rooms where they were taught stuff then led her out back to the gardens. "This is also a place you can go." He said. He looked at her and stopped, "What else do you want to ask me?" He asked her. He wanted to make sure that she felt comfortable. "You can ask me anything. I will tell you the truth." He said. He knew he couldn't tell her everything because the dark ones didn't want her to know certain things just yet. Ezra had turned to black magic years ago and it was so thrilling to be able to control things.
Blair pouted slightly as he removed her hand from him. She rolled her eyes at his comment, "What are you afraid you can't protect yourself?" She asked him. She stopped when he did and let him talk. She walked around him now that they were more alone. "You know what I think?" She asked him as she moved behind him as her fingertips traced his back. She moved in front of him, "I think you think that I am defenseless and can't take care of myself and you would be wrong." She said, watching him. "I also know that you are just any...person." She said, deciding to avoid the word wolf. "You are the leader and I seen what you and your little group do." She said. "Not. Very. Nice." She said, stepping so she was so close to him she could feel the heat of his body. His pack had been terrorizing another one. "Just a bunch of bad puppies." She teased him, seeing that he was getting angry. She grabbed his hand when he raised it to hit her. "Now now be nice." She said, pouting. She shot a vision of her breaking his hand, giving him the sensation of it. She pulled the vision away, revealing that she hadn't hurt him at all. "We can be friends or enemies Silas. Your choice." She said, letting go of his hand. She knew she shouldn't be talking to him, but he was cute and he was a bad boy and she loved it. "Besides I am a lot of fun." She said, moving to his side and taking his arm again as she walked with him. "We could have a lot of fun together." She said, looking up at him, "If you know what I mean." She said, her eyes raking over his body.

Mal smiled as she looked around the gardens, she liked this part a lot. She glanced him over as he asked her if she had any questions, she had millions running through her mind and she tried to decide what to priortise. "Do I get to leave here?" She asked him, slowly taking a couple of steps towards a tree and sitting herself down at the base of the trunk looking up at him. She couldn't help but wonder, if he was a witch to.. she hadn't even relaise a witch could be a man.

    ***
Silas flinched back as he emerged from her vision, frowning deeply at her. "You aren't allowed to do that" he said with a grunt, slowly using her own hand on his to push her back. He took a deep breath to calm himself down, looking in to her eyes. "I respect what you're trying to do here Blair, your a very beautiful woman, and I have no doubt we could have...fun" he said, looking her up and down. "However, I think you need to go read up on your covenant laws before you get yourself in trouble" he criticised, turning to walk away before quickly pulling her in close to him, their chests touching as he squeezed her arms just a little too tight. He smirked realising he had caught her off guard. "Your powers can't always save you, no matter how strong" he chided, before placing a gentle, taunting kiss on her forhead. "Watch yourself"

Ezra smirked, "What do you mean? When you have better control you may go out and walk around. It will be up to you at the end of your teachings if you join the coven or leave." He told her. He knee most of the time people couldnt leave, but she didnt need to know that right now. Ezra was very good at making everything appealing. He sat beside of her, "Everyone here is very nice and will help you." He said.

    --

Blair gasped as he grabbed her, but she couldnt help but giggle when he held her so tight. "Maybe I need someone to protect me." She said innocently as he looked down at her. "Perhaps a big strong." She paused as she slipped her hands under his shirt as far as they could reach. She leaned into him, "Wolf." She whispered so only he could hear. She could feel how warm he was and she loved it. "Hold me tighter I love it." she said, the words slipping off her tongue dripping with sin.

Mal nodded softly "I mean, I'm just unsure about all of this... I liked my normal life, I guess I'd like to think I could go back to that eventually" she told him with a soft shrug, hoping she didn't sound dumb. She sat thinking for a minute, running her hand over and back the grass absentmindedly, breaking out of her daydream as she heard Ezra chuckling at her. "What?" She asked, before looking down at her hands, where large parts of the grass she had been touching had now turned blue. "Shit" she mumbled standing up, clenching her hands at her sides. "see . I really don't know very much" she admitted to him.

    ***
Silas shook his head, shoving her away from him, a faint laugh escaping his lips. "You really never stop trying, do you Blair?" He asked yet again beginning to walk away from her. He turned to face her as he walked backwards, spotting his younger brother in the distance. "I'm afraid whatever you had in mind just isn't going to happen today" he called out teasingly. "Leave my pack alone Blair, and if I hear of you using your magic on any of us again I will report it" he added with a wink.

Ezra smiled, "It's okay. You just have to learn is all." He said. He moved his hand and turned the grass back. "Come on, I have more to show you." He said. he walked inside then as they walked in Blair walked through the front door pouting. "What's wrong Blair?" He asked. He was shocked when she mentioned the werewolf. Though it became more appealing when she said who he was. He would be very useful. Ezra chuckled, "You know werewolves can be cruel Blair." He said. Ezra chuckled when she said she would keep trying. While the girls spoke he used some magic to make one of the wolves of Silas,s pack sick so Silas would have to come for help. He smirked as the girls looked at him.

    --

Blair frowned as Silas walked away. She sighed as she got back to the house and slammed the door. She turned to see Ezra and a new girl. "I ran into a wolf and he did not want to play!" She whined. She crossed her arms, "He was an alpha too." She said, pouting. She sighed at Ezra's words, "I will make him play with me." she said. She looked over at the new girl her attitude changing, "Oh hi!" She said happily. "I'm Blair." She said as she hugged the girl.

Mallory watched him closely as he fixed the grass, trying to memorise his hand gestures. She stood slowly following him back in to the house, recoiling against the wall as a pretty blonde girl came storming in the front door throwing a tantrum like a toddler. Mal examined the girl as she ranted on about the wolf not playing with her. It took her a minute to realise what she was talkingabout. Wait wait wait... Werewolves are a thing??" She asked, her eyes wide as the girl hugged her, her arms hanging wierdly by her sides.

She pulled away looking the girl over "I'm Mallory" she said quickly turning her attention back to the both of them "so back to that werewolf thing... Can somebody please explain?" She asked again, her eyes narrowing at Ezta as she realised he was muttering something under his breath.

(Do you want Blair to be in on the dark magic?)

Blair nodded, "Oh yea werewolves are a thing. People don't know about them because they stay hidden for the most part. Also fairies are a thing and most other things." She said. She looked at Ezra as he watched them. "Though werewolves can be very very grumpy so avoid them if you can. At least until your powers are stronger." She explained to the girl. "What all can you do with with your powers?" She asked.

    --

Ezra looked at her when she asked about the wolves, but let Blair butt in. "Yes be very careful around the wolves they do not particularly like us. Though we have made a treaty with them so things are settled now. You can not do harm to them and they can not harm you." He said. He knew it wouldn't be long til Blair's new play thing came to them for help.

[I was thinking she has the ability to do black magic but she isnt aware of what the coven has planned. So she isnt as far into it yet.]

Mal listened to her, her eyes growing wiser with every creature that she mentioned. She was still only coming to terms with what she was, nevermind the existence of all these other things. She shrugged softly as the girl questioned her. "I mean... I have a meeting with the headmistress later this evening to try and work on my particular skills . But um, apparently I can have visions?" She said softly, glancing at Ezra. "Well noted.. I'll avoid the wolves then.." she said slowly, backing up towards the stairs "I'm gonna go unpac- she began to say as a loud pounding came from the front door. She watched from the staircase as Blair moved to answer it.

    ***

Silas pounded on the front door of hill house yet again, moving inside quickly as it it opened. He instantly saw the girl from earlier and sighed "I don't have time for your games right now" he said gruffly placing his friend down at their feet. "He needs help.. I don't know what happened but this black stuff started coming out of his eyes, his nose just.. everywhere please try and help" he said quickly his arms crossed across him. "Help him goddamit" he snapped as he watched them standing around.

Blair heard a pounding on the door and opened it, surprised to see Silas and a very sick man. She stepped back, frowning as he yelled at them, "Bring him back here." She said. She walked with him to one of the rooms and motioned to the table, lay him down." She said. She didnt want to tell him that it appeared to be black magic. She could sense he didnt come alone though. That was smart of him to bring some of his pack along. Blair looked at him as one of his friends walked in. "what can't trust me alone?" She asked as she set a bowl on the table. "Hand." She said, holding her hand out to him. She rolled her eyes as he glared at her. "He is one of yours so in order to fix him i need your blood." She said. "Hand." She said again. She took his hand in hers and drug a dagger across it. She turned his hand, watching as the blood drained into the bowl with the other ingredients. She pulled her hand away from his then started the spell. Her words mixing into another language. Everything around her faded as the darkness took over.

    ---

Ezra watched as Blair opened the door, "That isnt how you get help here." He said, glaring at Silas. He had never liked that guy ever since he took over the pack. Ezra looked at Mallory, "Lets go watch. I dont want to leave Blair alone with a bunch mutts." He said, leading her there. He stood by the door, watching everyone carefully. Ezra watched Blair because he knew how dangerous this spell could be but he knew she could do it. "Blair. Are you alright?" He asked calmly. He felt the room atmosphere shift as she spoke. "We are fine." She said, her voice not her open but dark and sinister. He could tell the wolved were scared. he smirked, "Its fine." He assured them. He watched as she marked the mans body with the concoction and finished the spell. He seemed to be getting better.

Mallory nodded following Ezra in to the room in the back, frowning as she saw how clinical it was. She frowned as she watched Blair carry out what seemed like a ritual on the man as he clearly writhed in pain. "What's wrong with him?" She asked Silas gently, her fists once again clenched at her sides. When she looked back up from the ground she felt eyes on her, feeling insanely intimidated.

"Who's the newbie?" Sials demanded, as he let Blair draw out some of his blood to help his pack member.

Mal could feel a vivid shift in the room as she heard Blair's voice but her mouth never moved. "Ezra.. I don't feel great" she said gripping his arm as she watched what was going on, ignoring the stares of the wolves. She almost felt like she wasn't in her own body.

    ****

Silas watched closely as Blair painted his friend with different symbols murmering something under her breath. He hated all of the ritualistic bullshit but desperate times called for desperate measures. He eased slightly as he could see his pack brother clearly getting better. "Thank you" he said gruffly, raising his eyes to let them rest on Blair. "I'm grateful that you've helped him" he repeated, his demeanor softening a little.

Ezra chuckled, "Her name is Mallory." He told the man. He watched as the man got better then looked at Mallory, "Are you okay?" He asked. He took her out of the room. "The air is heavy in there." He said to her. He could tell there was something different about her. He didnt know if it would benefit them or not. Ezra sighed as he glanced around them, "Lets hope our friends leave quickly." He said, letting her sit down and getting her some water.

    --

Blair stumbled slightly feeling dizzy after the spell. "Sorry, head rush." She said, laughing a little. Doing magic like that always took a lot out of her. Blair watched as the guy sat up then handed him something to clean himself up with. She nodded when Silas thanked her, "No problem. Im sure i will need a favor later on." She teased him. Blair walked out with him, then looked up at him. She felt like something was off. She grabbed his hands, seeing a dark cloud around him. She pulled him outside, "Someone is messing with you." She said. From what she could tell it looked like something of a fairy. "You have this darkness around you." She said, letting go of his hands. "Hold on." She said. She left him on the porch then returned with a necklace with a charmed stone on it. She held it out to him, "You have come in contact with faries recently and they werent kind to you." She told him. "Maybe that is what was wrong with your friend." She said.

Mallory took the water from him, shuddering slightly as his hand brushed hers. Her eyebrows knotted together slightly as she looked up at him. "I cant read you" she commented softly, beginning to feel a little lighter now that she had left the room. It had felt off, as if something completely different had taken over her body while she was in the room. She watched as the men moved back out in to the foyer and towards the front door, carrying their friend with them. She shook her head slowly as she watched Blair bound out after them like an enthusiastic cheerleader.

    ***

"Messing with me?" Silas asked raising an eyebrow in disbelief. He chuckled slightly "look Blair, yo uwitches are a strange folk... I'm sure he just ingested wolfsbane or something... I don't think I need a necklace to protect me" he said with a cocky laugh, rolling his eyes at her. He looked back in through the front door at the guy he was familiar with sitting next to a girl he'd never seen. "I personally would be more worried about you guys having new recruits than some fairy hex"

Ezra chuckled, "You can't read me because i used a spell to cloak myself from others." He said. "You will run into people like that around here. It is nothing to be concerned about." He told her as he sat beside of her. "Are you sure you are okay? I know it was a little intense in there." He explained to her.

Blair stared at him, "Fine, I guess i will see you in a few hours where your eyes are bleeding as well." She said. She seen the worry come to his eyes. She held the charm out to him, "Better safe than sorry." She teased him. "I've seen some bad wolfspane poisoning and that was not it." She told him. "Tell you what." She said, putting the charm in his jeand pocket. "Take it with you and if you need it then you have it. But if you dont well then Im just out a charm." She said, stepping back from him. She crossed her arms as he stared at her. She liked how cocky he was. She had known that the wolves had always been like that.

Mal stared at him for a minute thinking about it "It's weird though... It's like" she stopped for a minute thinking. "It's like when Blair hugged me, I felt nothing, not even a shiver... But it's different when we come in contact, it's like my mind is trying to show me something so badly, I get a chill down my spine.. it's just, different" she commented taking another sip of her water. "Do I sound crazy, I feel a little crazy. That guy was bleeding from his damn eyes and he just walked straight out of here... Crazy right?" She rambled, sipping heavily on her water to shut herself up.

Silas crosses his arms, holding the charm between two fingers. "Okay then Blaire, tell how am I to know that this isn't a rouse huh? What if this was all an elaborate plan to get me to accept this locket that somehow curses me" he teased, raising an eyesore. He did believe her that it would protect them but he kind of enjoyed winding Blair up too. He knew that realistically the witches would never intentionally harm them, the Wolves we're all that stood between them and hunters.
