Esther frowned a bit as Blaise deflected, but followed him outside nonetheless, since it wasn't worth trying to argue. She was glad it seemed like they were getting ready to leave, wanting to get on with their chores so they could go back to the house. She blinked a little in surprise as they walked into the mostly empty greenhouse, frowning in confusion at the sight of the candles and the flowers and plants, which also happened to be her favorites.

"Blaise, I don't understand, what's-" she started to ask as she turned around, her eyes going wide as she saw him on one knee, staring at the engagement ring as tears began to leak down her cheeks. "Blaise..? What... I don't... I-I don't understand..." She couldn't believe it. None of this made sense, especially not after how things had been the past few months. "I... I-I thought you were going to break up with me.." She admitted softly as she wiped at her eyes, sniffling as she looked at him.

"Why would I ever want to break up with the most, beautiful, intelligent and loving woman in the world?" Blaise asked her gently, his head tilting slightly to the side. He had not known that those thoughts were going through her mind. Perhaps the sneaking around had gotten Esther suspicious but he had felt rather confident about everything he had been doing the last few months to help her, to help both of them. Though now that was wavering... An issue for later though, Blaise supposed.

Although the man felt a little thrown off, Blaise cleared his throat and started to speak. "Esther, I love you. I want to build a future with you, in this house that I bought and got ready for us. I want to grow old with you, have a family with you. And you are truly the one thing in this world that I can't live without. And I feel so grateful everyday to have you in my life. Will you marry me?"

"I... I-I don't know..." Esther mumbled, wiping at her tears from her eyes as she looked down at him. "I just... I-I thought.." she sniffled, a slow smile spreading across her lips as he spoke. About wanting to marry her. Wanting to live in the house he'd bought them. Raise a family with her and grow old. Everything that she wanted.

She dropped to her knees to wrap her arms around his neck tightly, practically falling into his arms as she buried her face in his neck. "Of course.. Of course I'll marry you.. I love you too, Blaise. I'm sorry.. I'm sorry I ever doubted you.."

Blaise wrapped his arms around Esther quickly as she dropped down onto her knees and fell into him. A huge smile was across his face and he held her as close as possible. His arms around her were firm...maybe a bit too tight but Blaise was just so happy that Esther said yes, that she wanted to live her whole life with him. His face laid against the top of her head as Esther buried her face into his neck. "Thank the gods." Blaise murmured softly.

After a few moments, Blaise pulled back slowly and took her hand into his. He looked Esther into the eyes lovingly before gently pushing the ring onto her ring finger. It fit perfectly, both because he measured her ring finger in the middle of the night but also because he used a little magic to ensure that it would. "I love you, Esther." Blaise whispered to her. "With all of my heart."

Esther didn't mind how tight his arms were around her, especially since she was sure that her arms around him were also just as tight around him. Her fingers tangled in his hair as she clung to him, looking up at him as he pulled back, only letting go of him so he could take her hand and slide the ring onto her finger, letting out a happy little sob as she really looked at it for the first time.

"It's beautiful, Blaise... Thank you." She murmured, smiling up at him through her tears before throwing her arms around his neck as she hugged him tightly, pressing a loving kiss to his lips. "I love too, Blaise.. With all of my heart, forever."

As her lips pressed against his, Blaise kissed her back just as loving. Though, he slowly pulled away after a moment. Blaise's eyes roamed over her face as he helped her onto her feet, getting onto his as well. There was really no reason for them to stay on the group. But even as they were up, Blaise's arm wrap around her waist quick, wanting to keep her close to him as possible.

There was a slight hesitation in him still, and Blaise could feel some sense of worry sitting in his chest. She had said yes to him, which was definitely the more important thing but... "So...Do you like the house?" Blaise asked her sheepishly.

Esther clung to his shirt even as they stood, not ready to let go of him anytime soon. She smiled when he asked about the house, cupping his cheeks in her hands as she pressed another loving kiss to his lips, still smiling even after she pulled back.

"Yes.. I love the house, Blaise. It's... It's perfect. I wish you'd told me about it sooner, but I understand why you didn't... It's really ours?" She asked softly, almost in disbelief as she looked back through the greenhouse doors to the house Blaise had gotten for them.

"You were going through a lot and I didn't want finding a house and moving to be another stressor for you." Blaise told her gently as he lightly brushed his hand through her hair. "So, I thought it would be better if I did the work and surprised you... To be fair, I did originally plan on you touring the place with me before I bought it but by the time I got to that point, I really wanted to ask you to marry me in our new home. I really wanted to surprise you and not have you worry about a thing."

Leaning in, Blaise pressed a gentle kiss to the side of her head. "And it is really ours. The house has been bought and the decor inside is all ours too. Though, of course, if there is anything you want to change we will do it... Perhaps I did get a little carried away with getting the house ready for you but this is our home. We can do anything we want here."

Esther smoothed her fingers over his cheeks as he spoke, occasionally letting out a soft sob of happiness, wiping at her tears as she smiled up at him. "I love it, Blaise.. I love you, so much. I... I feel so guilty for ever doubting you, or what you were doing all this time... I don't know how I'll ever thank you for this." She murmured, standing up on her toes to press loving kisses to his face.

She leaned into his arms as he kissed her head, wrapping her arms around his neck as she looked back toward the house, her fingers gently brushing against the hair at the nape of his neck. "I love it all.. Maybe as we live in it we'll realize we need to get new things or change things out.. But I love it all right now. It's perfect. Do you know when we're allowed to move in?"

Blaise's hand lifted up and pressed against the side of her cheek. His thumb lightly moved over her cheek and wiped about the tears that were falling. Though he wasn't worried, knowing that his love was crying tears of job. This situation was probably just overwhelming to her, having just gotten proposed to and finding out that they had a house now. "It is okay, Esther." Blaise said softly. "I suppose my leaving the house so often was a little suspicious."

He chuckled lightly, mostly to get himself to relax. In truth, Blaise was a little worried about the fact that she seemed to doubt him so much but...well, he didn't doubt at all that Esther wanted to be with him despite her worries. Blaise started to lead her towards the house. "We can move in right away. Tonight, if you want."

Esther leaned her head into his hand as he wiped away her tears, clinging to him gently as she shook her head. "It wasn't you I doubted, Blaise.. I-I guess I just thought that maybe you'd found someone that really made you happy, especially since lately all I've been able to do is be a burden for you.. A-And I couldn't blame you, if you'd gone out and found someone else, and I just.. I just wanted you to be happy, even if it wasn't with me, so I just sort of accepted it.." She murmured softly, tucking her face into the crook of his neck as she wrapped her arms around his neck tightly, clinging to him.

She nodded a little when he said that they could move in right away, happy to be able to move into her new home with him as soon as possible. "Tonight... Will you carry me inside?" She murmured softly as she pulled back enough to look up at him through her eyelashes.

"You are the person that makes me really happy, Esther." Blaise told her, some urgency in his voice as he said it. "And you aren't being fair to yourself. It is true that you haven't been your normal self but you are healing right now. And, although this has been difficult for both of us, I can see that you are getting better every day. I love you Esther, through anything and everything."

A gentle, warm smile came over Blaise's face as Esther asked to be carried inside. "Of course," He murmured gentle as he leaned down and swept her off of her feet. Blaise held her close to him as he lifted her up so she was pressed against his chest. The man then turned and started to carry her towards the house. And as they got to the door, Blaise had Esther open it before carefully maneuvering so they got in. "Where do you want to go?"

Esther felt like she might start crying again as Blaise reassured her that she was the one for him, and that he loved her despite everything that they'd been through. She couldn't believe she'd gotten so lucky, that she'd found someone so kind and caring to spend the rest of her life with.

She giggled a little as he leaned down and swept her up off her feet, her arms wrapping around his neck securely as she rested her head against his shoulder. Once in the house she let out a little hum in thought at his question, shaking her head a little as she looked around the house. "I don't know... I-I still can't believe that you bought us a house.."

Blaise let out a low laugh before he reached down and pressed a kiss against her forehead. "It just felt like it was time for us to get our own place." He murmured against her skin before looking back up. Blaise then started to carry Esther through the house, trying to make a decision on where to go. Though he ended up just bringing her to the first comfortable room that he saw, which was the living room.

Falling back into the couch, Blaise kept her on top of him. Once they were both settled, he looked down at her hand with the ring on it. He took it and pressed a gentle kiss against her palm. "I am so glad that you said yes." He murmured before letting out a peaceful sigh. "We are going to have to tell everyone at some point, you know."

Esther smiled as he kissed her forehead, curling into his arms as he sat them both down on the couch, remaining in his lap. She let her fingers run through his hair absentmindedly as she tucked her head into the crook of his neck, smiling as he took her hand and pressed a kiss to her palm.

"I'd never say no... And we can tell them tomorrow. I want today to be just us, if that's alright with you. I feel like we haven't had a day to ourselves in ages, and I've missed you.." she admitted softly, looking up at him through her lashes. "I love you, Blaise."

"Of course we can wait until tomorrow. We'll go and tell everyone that you are engaged and collect some of our things while we are at all. I think we have a couple of houses that we will want to hit, you know." Blaise murmured in thought, knowing that there were some people that they would want to tell immediately. Their families being the main focus, but there were also some friends that were so close it seemed only right to tell them the same day as well. "We should see your mother first, tomorrow." Blaise said softly.

He cleared his throat a bit as he looked down at her. His eyes immediately softened as Blaise looked over the features of her face. Then, a little satisfied hum left Blaise as he leaned into her. He didn't know how close they were able to be but Blaise wanted to be as close as physically possible to her. "I love you too." Blaise whispered as he leaned down and pressed another kiss against her. This time, it was a bit needy, a little more oopmf behind it.

"I bet she'll be happy to hear about it.. Do your parents know that you've been planning all this?" Esther asked curiously as she looked up at him, although her question was forgotten as his gaze softened and he leaned into her, her grip on his shirt tightening a bit. She hummed contently against his lips as she returned his kiss, pouring all the love she could into it for him.

She was blushing brightly when they finally broke the kiss, a bit out of breath as she looked up at him sheepishly. "I.. I know that we haven't done anything in a while... A-And I'm sorry, that I've made you wait, and told you no, but... But maybe now, if you wanted..?" The few times they'd tried for anything intimate in the past few months had ended with her in tears and panicking, but now felt different, and she knew she at least wanted to try. Especially with the promise of a future together.

"They knew a little bit of what was happening but not the full extent. So, we'll still have to let them know," Blaise told her, a little chuckle leaving his lips as he did so. Though soon his mind was getting lost in her lips. His arms stayed around her body, holding her close to him. But Blaise did not try to move his hands away from her side. He just kept her close to him but didn't try to push further than that, knowing what could happen if he did and Blaise just wanted them to have the perfect day.

As the kiss broke, Blaise looked down at Esther and listened to her. He was a little surprised to hear what she had to say, but a smile came over his lips and he gave her a little nod. "You know that I want you." Blaise whispered to her before he leaned down and pressed another kiss against her lips. "But only if you're sure that you want this." He whispered to her. Blaise waited a moment before he leaned down and started to kiss along Esther's neck. He kissed and nipped at her skin gently. His fingers then slowly started to slide down her side until he was grabbing onto her hips.

Esther hummed against his lips, her arms tightening a bit around his neck as she looked up at him sheepishly. She was glad that he was so kind and understanding, and after giving a little nod in confirmation kissed him again. "I love you, Blaise. I'm sure." She whispered against his lips before kissing him again, her fingers tangling in his hair.

She let out a little happy sigh as he kissed along her neck, pressing closer as she savored the feeling of the little teasing nips and his hands at her hips. "Maybe.. Maybe we could go up to your... Our room..?" She suggested softly, letting out a soft moan as he kissed and nipped at a particularly sensitive spot on her neck, her hands slowly moving to the buttons of his shirt. She knew he could be impatient, and after so long he had a right to be, but she wanted this to be special, and making love for the first time as fiances in their own room in their new home seemed like the right thing.

Blaise couldn't help but let out a small, impatient whimper as Esther mentioned moving to their room. She was right, of course, but it had been so long... It was hard to want to wait longer. Even so, Blaise picked Esther up so her legs were wrapped around her waist. One hand moved to hold onto her ass, squeezing it slightly as he did so while the other wrapped around her waist. Blaise then started to make his way upstairs towards their bedroom.

Once they reached the top of the stairs, Blaise leaned down and gently nipped at her neck, trying to hit that sensitive spot that caused her to moan just moments ago. Though his lips left her skin again to watch where he was going as he moved through the hallway. His hand giving another squeeze as he did so. But soon enough, Blaise was in heir bedroom and he pushed her down against the bed.
