Esther frowned a bit as Blaise deflected, but followed him outside nonetheless, since it wasn't worth trying to argue. She was glad it seemed like they were getting ready to leave, wanting to get on with their chores so they could go back to the house. She blinked a little in surprise as they walked into the mostly empty greenhouse, frowning in confusion at the sight of the candles and the flowers and plants, which also happened to be her favorites.
"Blaise, I don't understand, what's-" she started to ask as she turned around, her eyes going wide as she saw him on one knee, staring at the engagement ring as tears began to leak down her cheeks. "Blaise..? What... I don't... I-I don't understand..." She couldn't believe it. None of this made sense, especially not after how things had been the past few months. "I... I-I thought you were going to break up with me.." She admitted softly as she wiped at her eyes, sniffling as she looked at him.
