A scowl appeared on Louis' lips as they hit a dead-end. That was the last thing he wanted to do, not to mention that little reminder from Marina wasn't really needed either. "Fuck," Louis muttered as he quickly turned them around and started to lead Marina back towards the last turn they made.
Then, just as they were about to turn, Louis pulled Marina back and pressed her back against the wall. He leaned in close to her with his body, towering over her as a shield as two soldiers past them by. Louis ducked his head like he was about to kiss Marina, but stopped short as he didn't want to get distracted by her delicious lips. His dark gaze was focused on the two men as they passed, ignoring the supposed young couple that was in love.
"We need to hurry, it looks like they have some pretty tight patrolling patterns," Louis said as he glanced towards the young beauty. "Are you alright?" He asked, wanting to make sure that Marina wasn't hurt or tired before they continued on their little excursion towards the ship. Then, once he got the okay from her, He's lean away from her and gently grab her hand as he started to once again lead her towards the ship. This time, sticking a little bit closer towards the walls of the buildings.
As they got closer and closer towards the ship, the more relaxed Louis started to feel. They were making good time, and no one seemed to have recognized them. Luck must be on their side since they weren't caught yet. At least, that's what Louis was thinking until.
Just turning a corner, the blook in Louis's veins seemed to run cold. Standing in the distance, with his back towards them. Was Charlotte's father. His broad shoulders, dark hair and the uniform were burned into the ex-military man's mind. He was reading something, not noticing the convict or his missing daughter behind himself. At least, not yet.
Slowly, Louis glanced towards Marina. Curious as to what she'd do now that they were facing her father. Would she run towards him and rat him out? Or, would she come with him, and continue to love the Pirate life she barely dipped her hands into?
