Ezra ran a hand through his hair as he threw the half empty red cup, he needed to control himself. Evie wasn’t like that anymore at least he would hope not maybe this feeling of insecurity was payback for what he did to Ella. He was horrible to her and she was just the nicest girl, everyone loved her, maybe that’s why everyone stared or glared at Ezra.

He turned around hearing Evie and nodded, “yeah, I just can’t help but have this eerie feeling people keep staring st me it’s weird.” Ezra sighed “you want to party with your friends so party with them don’t let my weird behavior ruin your night.”

Evie bit her lip gently as she looked up at him. "I mean.. yeah people tend to stare when you toss a cup full of drink across the room Ezra, what's wrong with you?" She asked him, her face a mix of concern and annoyance. She knew tonight might have been a little awkward, but throwing tantrums like a toddler definitely wasn't the answer to it.

"I'm just going to go talk to Melissa and then we'll go back to our place, okay?" She said to him with a soft sigh before turning on her heel and looking for her friend.

Ezra frowned he decided to have an argument here, it was and was bad enough that people around him were staring. He almost wanted to tell them off but that would mean making a scene and he already had done that. Ezra decided just to walk out, he needed some air anyway.

He didn’t argue with her though, Ezra let Evie do as she pleases, as he walked outside he pulled out a cigarette and lit it. Taking a puff, he sighed, his paranoia was getting the better of him.

Evie found her friend and congratulated her, taking. A few photos and then headed away. She walked out the door of the pub and frowned seeing Ezra smoking. "I'll be in the car" she told him flately as she walked past, wrapping her arms around herself gently.

She sat in to the passengers side, running her hands through her hair as she took a second to compose herself. That had gone awfully.

Ezra looked up when Evie finally after what seemed an eternity came out, he was on his third cigarette. He looked st her when she told him where she’d be and he honestly didn’t care. He was too annoyed st this point. Ezra Put out his cigarette before walking to the car and getting in the driver’s side.

He turned on the car and turned on the radio he really didn’t want to hear what she had to say.

Evie stayed quiet the entire ride back to his. She wondered if she should've just asked him to drop her at her own apartment. She sighed as they pulled up outside and walked up to the apartment, quickly heading for his room and shutting the door behind her. She got changed out of her dress and took off her makeup, all the while trying to keep the tears that were threatening to spill down her cheeks at Bay.

After a couple of minutes she came out of the room and headed toward the living room to find him smoking another cigarette. "I thought you said you quit" she commented, leaning against the doorframe.

Ezra wasn’t much of s boyfriend he knew this much, it was obvious by how he treated his last girlfriend, why would it be different this time? Because she was hotter and better in bed? Yeah, but now he had this idea that she might be sleeping around, that was his insecurity getting the better of him. He got out of the car and watched Evie walk in slamming doors, Ezra shrugged it off.

He lit another cigarette in her absence, he looked up when she came to the living room. “Well, I started up again, stress does that to you..now you gonna tell me what’s eating you?”

Evie leaned her head against the doorframe, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. "what's eating me? Ezra I'm not the one throwing cups around an engagement party and chain-smoking.. what's going on?" She asked seriously, crossing her arms across her chest. "What are you stressed about?" She asked, trying to calm herself down and relieve the lump she felt at the back of her throat.

Ezra dusted his cigarette on the ashtray before taking another puff looking up at Evie. “You’re stressing me out that’s what... Evie tell me how do you see this working out between us? Do you really think we should be together?” He was getting worked up again. Ezra standing up, “knowing what kind of girl you are, how do I know you won’t do to me what I did to your so called best friend? How is she by the way have you talked to her ? Or maybe you’re busy with that guy from the party?” He blew some rings in Evie’s face.

Evie looked down at her feet as she bit back tears hearing what he had to say. "Of course I think we should be together Ezra, why else would I be here?" She asked softly, shrinking down into herself a little as he stood up in front of her. "Ez, you have this all wrong... I worked with her for a while.. I'd hardly Cal her my best friend" she pleased, hating how angry he looked. "Why... Have you talked to her? Are you having second thoughts?" She demanded, tell tears coming spilling down her cheeks as she stared at him

Her face grew confused. "guy from the party! What guy? Jamie? Jesus Christ Ezra he's my best friend from college, I haven't seen him in 3 years not to mention he has a boyfriend she said, slight anger raising in her voice ce as she swatted away the rings. "Don't do that, I don't like it" she snapped.

Ezra stood there dumbfounded feeling all sorts of confused and guilt for even assuming that about her. He was the slut, not her, he broke whatever friendship they had going not her. He approached her so why was he so defensive? He swallowed hard putting out his cigarette and placing it on the ash tray, he looked at her. “No of course not Evie, I like you so much, I don’t know why I’m being such a shitty boyfriend.”

Ezra grew more angry with himself for being such s dumbass he looked at Evie feeling horrible. “I’m sorry, I don’t know why I’m so consumed with jealousy and insecurity...”

Evie fidgeted with her hands nervously between wipping away the tears. "I really like you too Ezra... I um.. I'm sorry if I gave you the impression I was losing interest" she said softly, gently stepping towards him.

"It's probably my fault... I've never really done this.. I don't know what the unwritten rules are" she commented gently before wrapping his arms around him.

Ezra pulled Evie closer to him, “it’s my fault baby, I shouldn’t have acted like that, I was a real jackass and I’m sorry.” He touched her face wiping away some tears. “I’m sorry I made you cry,” he really didn’t mean to make her cry.

Ezra held Evie close to him kissing the side of her head and her cheeks and lastly her lips. “You’re just so beautiful I don’t want to lose you.”

Evie held both of his cheeks in her hands, pulling in to his kiss, her cheeks still damp from tears. "I really like you Ezra.. and I don't usually feel that way" she whispered against his lips as she pressed herself close to him. "I'm sorry for getting mad in front of everybody" she added.

Ezra kisses her lips as his hands fell on her hips and he pulled her close, “I was the keel you had every right to be mad.” He pressed his forehead against Evie’s, “how about we go take s nice cool shower” he suggested as he kissed her lips, kissing down to her neck.

Evie. Huckled softly, her head nodding. "Yeah that sounds good babe" she said, her voice low and throaty as he kissed her neck. She gently bit on his lip before pulling away, her brown eyes looking deeply into his.

She followed him in to the bathroom slowly, already beginning to pull off his shirt.

Ezra smirked and walked into the bathroom as he started unbuttoning his pants. Ezra pulled Evie into another hungry kiss, “Hmm..” he watched as she removed his shirt. He tugged next her dress, slowly unzipping it.

“You’re so beautiful” he commented as Ezra watched Evie undress, “the most gorgeous woman I’ve laid my eyes on.”

Evie smiled, she could feel Ezra's eyes on her, and for that reason she put on a little show. She slipped the yellow dress slowly down over her body, sashaying her hips as it slipped over her ass to reveal her little lace thong.

"A gorgeous woman for a gorgeous man" she commented slowly, pressing her body against his as she eased his pants off his hips,letting her tongue move inside his mouth.

Evie giggled softly, feeling him growing hard against her. SHe slowly slipped her fingers under the waistband on his boxers and let them drop to the floor. Her hand slowly ran in to his hair as she kissed him hungrily, slowly ambling towards the running water of the shower.

Just as they were about to enter the water, Evie pulled out of the kiss, an intrusive thought coming in to her head. "Ezra..." She whispered softly. "You really do like me, right? It not just because I'm pretty or good in bed that were together?" She asked him softly. Since they had gotten together Evie had been a little conscious of that- their relationship obviously hadn't started as a romantic one... And she had heard and seen enough about Ella to know that she was a much nicer person that Evie had ever been.
