Persephone let out an excited giggle once they reached the gates to Zeus' home. Demeter was going on and on about all of the rules they had agreed on, but her mind was already long gone as they were walking in the door. It was rather rare that her mother would let her come to the parties that Zeus threw - or anyone threw really. Actually, it was rare for Demeter to really let her leave the 'designated areas' in general.

As they walked in, Demeter was quick to take Persephone's hand before she ran off. "Do you remember the most important rule?" The young goddess looked up at her mother and gave her a nod. "Of course." She said softly. "I know who I am allowed to talk to." With a small pat on her head, Demeter let Persephone move around the party, though keeping a very close eye on her.

Once out of her mother's grasp, Persephone's smile widen as she headed over to Artemis. Thankfully, the goddess was already here. Though the moment Persephone was in Artemis' sight, the woman moved quickly to Persephone and hugged her tightly, lifting her off the ground while doing so. "Persephone!" She squealed out happily.

After a moment or so, Artemis set Persephone back on the ground. "I didn't think you would be able to make it."

Persephone smiled and leaned in it a bit. "I didn't think so either. Though, of course, I had to make some promises." Reaching up, Persephone fixed the flowers that adorned her hair, ensuring that they were still bright and attached. Though, she then took a moment to grow a new, bright pink flower in her hand. Once fully formed and in full bloom, Persephone slid it into Artemis' hair. "Lets get a drink."

Bright lights, soft music, sweet wines, all of those were things that Hades honestly didn't really care about. All of this happy go lucky feeling that people were sprouting about here and there at the party really seemed to disgust the ruler of the underworld. He would rather do anything then be here, and yet, he was.

Stupid of him to have accepted his brothers' invitation without even reading or hearing what this party was about. Now, he was stuck here. Listening to all of the gods and goddesses gossiping about and enjoying each others company while he stood in the corner and just listened to them all and watched, like some little human child that was too scared to go out and interact with all of the other kids.

A small sneer appeared on the ruler of hells lips as he watched some gods make their way towards him. Of course, though, they quickly changed directions at his sneer. Leaving him alone once more.

Raising his glass of wine to his lips, Hades took a few disinterested sips as he surveyed the room. Only to stop as his eyes landed on a goddess he had yet to see before. She looked beautiful, so innocent, so untainted by the human realm. The girls' delicate scent waffered past him as she walked with some other goddess that he didn't care to remember the name off.

"Brother! So glad you were able to come!" A booming voice echoed in Hade's ears, causing the dark lord to scowl and turn his gaze from the beauty towards the god that was hosting this party. "Indeed." Hades mused, taking another swig of his drink. "Are you enjoying the party?" Zeus pushed, wanting to get his brother to speak more than a one-word reply to him. The smell of booze was heavy on his breath, letting Hades know that the old man had been drinking for quite a bit already.

"No." A quick and simple reply was all that Hades gave, his gaze going back towards that enchanting beauty that he couldn't quite keep his eyes off of. "Ah, I see you've seen Persephone." The god of lightning said as he looked at where his brother's eyes were going. "She's a beauty, isn't she?" Zeus seemed proud as he spoke of her. Sounding prideful as he spoke of her. "She really is? Is she spoken for?" Hades blurted out, having this weird feeling his chest start up each time he heard that beautiful creature open her mouth and speak.

Zeus let out a warm hearty laugh at Hades' question. He gave Hades a pat on the back before wrapping his arm around him and pulling the God of the Underworld closer to him. "Persephone is not spoken for. Though I am unsure if she ever will be." Reaching up, he ran a hand through his beard, lost in thought for a moment before continuing. "I do not know Persephone's own wishes but her mother is very protective of her. Overprotective is what I would say but." The man gave a shrug before continuing. "Anyways, Demeter has quickly shot down every suitor that has approached her for permission. Even the smallest request has been denied."

The God of lightening looked over at Hades, a bit of a smirk coming over his face. "Of course, none of those suitors were a King of a realm as well as one of the most powerful Gods." Zeus tilted his head a bit to get a better look at Hades. He wanted to see if he had been correct about Hades' desires. The man was rather sure he was correct in them, since he considered himself an expert in such matters.

"You should be wiling to take a chance if you have finally found someone you are interested in" Zeus chuckled a bit as he looked back at Persephone. The idea was mulling over in his head, having Persephone become Queen of the Underworld. The thought was compelling.

    -

After having a cup of the smooth, delicious drink that Zeus provided, Persephone and Artemis moved to the side and started to talk. Artemis had a lot to catching Persephone up on, since it had been a while since they were able to talk. Though as they discussing, Apollo came up with a large shining smile. "Hi Persephone!" He said as he reached up and messed the goddess' hair up.

Persephone let out a warm laugh as his hand dropped. "Hello Apollo. Artemis was telling me about what you two were up to."

Emotionless as ever, Hades stood still and watched that beautiful creature that he'd laid his eyes on as Zeus talked. Not much of it was going into his mind, except when he was being complimented of course. Compliments always came right to the king of the underworlds ears. They boosted his ego's after all.

A small scowl started to appear on his lips though as Demeter was brought up. "That damn wench is her mother?" Hades asked as he glanced towards his brother. His eyes narrowed as if daring him to make a comment about joking or trying to pull his leg. SOMETHING, to indicate that he was just joking with the ruler of the underworld and wouldn't dare to actually tell him that the one who actually caught his attention was related to someone who hated him.

"Just stop talking." Hades said as he turned his back to the party's host and started to walk off. His eyes glanced around as he took everything in, looking for that one person that he did not want to speak to for another couple million years.

"Demeter." Hades said, as he approached the woman who was getting something to drink. "We need to talk." He waited for the ill witted woman to turn her full attention towards him, then cut her off before she could send a word of disrespect towards him and not let him talk in the least bit. "I want Persephone's hand in marriage." He kept his tone and eyes level as he waited for the woman's reply towards his request. He was pretty sure she'd say no, but here, in a public place. She wouldn't dare making a big deal about it, meaning he could use it to his advantage and turn things around.

The moment Demeter's eyes dropped to Hades, her eyes narrowed. She was surprised that Hades was even in front of her at this moment. He was the worst of the worst, and he knew better to seek her out. It was well known that the two did not care for each other. Though, before she could even get a word in, Hades was already speaking.

A laugh came from the Goddess of the harvest at the absurdity Hades' words. It had been be some kind of bad joke coming from the God. There was no way that he would seriously ask her that question. "Oh, you must be joking. I think being near all that death has rotted your brain Hades."

Once Hades' intentions were clear and his words true, a scowl came over Demeter's face. Her eyes narrowed once again in angry. There was very little she could do in front of everyone, and especially in front of Persephone. The last thing she wanted was for her dear daughter to find out what had been asked. She hissed in response, "Well, let me give you my answer."

Taking her cup, Demeter threw her drink at the God's face before dropping the cup to the floor. "Stay away from me and Persephone lest you wish to face my wrath. And if I hear one word of this again, I will get Zeus involved." She angrily whispered at him, not wanting the others to overhear.

With that, Demeter turned and went straight to Persephone's side, wrapping an arm around hers. "It is time to go home, dear."

Persephone looked up at Demeter, a deep frown on her lips. "But we just got here."

The Goddess tightened her grip on the younger woman, now forcing her out of the room. After a few moments, Persephone followed suit but she looked back at the party longingly.

An intense sense of fear surged through Hades as he felt the drink that Demeter splashed at him hit his face. The liquid staining his clothing and dripping down his face and clothing more and more. Slowly, a scowl appeared on his face as his face heated up to dry up the water that had been splashed onto him.

This conversation had gone just as poorly as he had imagined, but. Just as he had planned, she wasn't able to go as psychotic as Hades knew of her to go. He still had his ability to speak and wasn't hurt, so he was taking that as a plus for the moment. On another note though, as he watched his new obsession being dragged away. He knew that things weren't going to be as easy the next time around. He needed Persephone, and that look on her face as she was forced to leave the party with her mother caused his heart to do something that it hadn't done in many years. It ached.

Raising his hand, Hades smoothed out his hair and turned from the table he was by. Then, moved over towards the doors of the palace that was the thunder gods domain. The King of the underworlds proceeded to head home where he was sure to let every one of his subjects know that he was not in the least bit happy. Slamming doors, pushing his subjects out of the way, the usual things he'd do when he'd have a temper tantrum.

Then, once the King got to his throne room, he sat in his skull covered throne and sumped. His dark eyes narrowed as he glanced towards a crystal ball that he had near him, picking it up. Hades willed it to show him an image of the girl he was now constantly thinking about. He may not know a thing about this Persephone goddess, but he was damn sure he wanted her. No, he needed her to come to him. He needed her in his grasp. If not for his own selfish needs, then to make sure that her mother was reminded that she was not above a King and telling him no was a bad idea.

After being dragged out of the party, Demeter was quick to get them back home. The young goddess tried her best to find out what was going on, why they had left, asking her mother if it was something she had done. She eve tried to ask if they could go back, but that only caused Demeter to dig her nails into her soft skin. It was no use. Something had set Demeter off and there was nothing she could do about it...

Despair crawled its way back into her chest as they walked up the steps to their home. Demeter then let go of Persephone, heading up the steps. The woman slowly made her way up, her head hanging low. It had taken so much effort to convince mother to let her come to the party and it seemed she was barely there at all. She wanted to join in on the fun, she missed her friends. Though Demeter always said she was too important to allow any foolish fancies over shine that.

Persephone made her way to the back of the house and laid down in the field. She looked up, looking at the night sky. At least the sight was able to calm the young goddess down. Though, she would try to convince Demeter to let Artemis come to the house soon. That was the least the woman could do after she was ushered out so quickly.

A sigh passed the goddess' lips before she closed her eyes. Flowers began to grow over Persephone, forming what looked like a blanket over her body. Despite being so close to the house, Demeter always tried to stop Persephone from dozing off outside. Though, Persephone couldn't always help herself. Besides, what harm could come from it? The nature around her was borne from her. Persephone knew what was with her.

That long look, those sad eyes. They pulled at the non-existant heartstrings that the King of the Underworld possessed. He wanted nothing more than to wrap his strong arms around that goddesses little body and hold her against him. Breathing in those flowers that seemed to be growing out of her. She looked hurt, so lonely laying outside like that. All alone, no one going off to find her.

A small scowl appeared on the King's lips as he watched his new obsession. Demeter was wrong to tear her away from Hades. She had no right! In Hade's mind, this Persephone was his queen already. She will be his, and she will rule by his side forever and there's nothing that stupid Demeter could do about it!

Standing up suddenly from his seat, Hades commanded that his carriage be readied with his fastest steads. Then, he summoned his weapon in case something was to get into his way before leaving. His love was waiting for him. She needed him to save her from the miserable life that Demeter was forcing upon her. The poor goddess needed to feel what it was like to really be wanted by someone.

With nothing but determination on his side, Hades got onto his carriage and drove it straight towards Demeter's residence. Not a care in the world as he pushed aside his own soldiers that were protecting his Kingdom in the Process. He was to be quick and savage in his little kidnapping plan. Not much was thought out, he didn't even know where he'd put the goddess once he'd take her. Should she stay in his room? Or shall the beauty have her own until they wed in a few moons time? It didn't matter, he was approaching her.

In one swift move, Hades ripped open the ground like a demon escaping hell. He rode as fast as his hell horses would go and scooped his woman up into his arms. Then, quickly pulling her back into the underground of hell before anyone had a chance to blink an eye or feel the flash of a wind. Persephone was his, and Hades was damn sure that he'd make her feel as comfortable as possible here in his world. His kingdom, their kingdom!

Arriving back in the depth's of Hell, Hades was quick to bring his new queen to their sleeping chamber. He wanted nothing more than for her to be comfortable in her new life.

The Young Goddess was was in a deep sleep as she was plucked from the Earth. She could vaguely feel the earth underneath her body leave her, and soon after feeling a strange warmness pressing against her skin. The blanket of flowers and vegetation slid off of her body and onto the ground in the process. Despite being in such a deep sleep, Persephone could feel things shifting around her. Something was changing, but she was unsure as to what it was. Perhaps just Demeter coming to carry her into the house with a disapproving frown on her face.

It took Persephone a minute or so to manage to pull herself from sleep. She could feel the need to open her eyes but had been unable to do so immediately, unable to wake herself from her dreams so quickly. Though, as her eyes opened, the sight in front of the young goddess was not one she was expecting. A man was holding her close into his chest as she was laid down on his lap. Confusion moved through the woman, but found it difficult to process what was taking place. Her head turned and she saw much more, the horses, the carriage and the horrifying world that was encompassing them.

Fear struck into Persephone's soul as her groggy mind started to place some of he pieces together... or at least now she processing that she wasn't home, and was now in a carriage with a man she had never seen before in a place she didn't know. This wasn't right and she knew her mother would never leave her alone with a man she didn't know well. While she didn't understand exactly what was happening, Persephone knew that whatever it was, it wasn't good.

Reaching her hands up, Persephone shoved hard against the man's chest, wanting to get away from him. "Stop!" She screamed at him, trying to scramble out of his lap. "Stop this carriage immediately!" Her heart started to beat harder against her chest. Vines started to come from Persephone, sliding around the carriage and making their ways to the wheels. Even if he didn't stop the carriage, Persephone would make it stop.

It was quite a surprise how light the beautiful goddess in Hade's arms was. He could practically hold her up with just his right hand. Maybe even able to hold her with two fingers even. She was so small and Leith compared to the commander of the underworld. It was strange to him, how a woman could be so different compared to a man.

Casting his eyes down towards the terrified goddess, Hades didn't say anything as his lips pursed. He wasn't fond of her fighting him, struggling against the freedom from Demeter he was trying to grant her. It would seem that she did not yet know nor realize that she was actually being saved and not kidnapped.

"Enough." Was all Hades said, his voice deep as he stared into Persephone's beautiful eyes and set the vines that dared to try and tangle with his carriage's wheels ablaze and fall away from the wheels. "You are to behave and calm down, you are in no danger with me." He told the young goddess as he looked ahead again and pulled his carriage onto the front landing of his estate in the underworld.

The two stone statues of a three-headed dog guarded the large black wood front door of the stone building. Casing a terrifying era over those who dared to enter through the front of the god's estate. A thing that Hades himself rarely saw as he was rarely out of his home himself. As running the underworld was a tiring job that allowed him to have little to no free time at all. Except on those rare occasions that were few and far between.

"I have not harmed you, nor do I plan to," Hades said as he stepped out of the carriage and allowed the woman to stand on her own. His hands moving to rest at his side as he marveled the young beauty that was standing in front of him. She was even more beautiful then he had imagined, up close she was like the sight of a pure soul that the god of the underworld got to dip his hands into and watch taint and turn into the darkest of blacks. Breathtaking, she was just breathtaking and he could not take his eyes off of her now that she was in his sights.

"You are safe here, please. Come inside so we can speak." The ruler of the underworld held out an arm, motioning for her the young female to move up the steps towards the door. Acting kind and chilverous as he didn't want to frighten her anymore then she probably already was.

Silence fell over Persephone as she looked down at the man. There was no doubt that he was a powerful creature. He had his own powers and his home was remarkably terrifying. She was rather sure that the man was a God in his own right, but Persephone was unsure as to which one. There were so few she had met or even seen with her own eyes. Those her mother deemed worthy. Any God she deemed to be a Minor God never got the chance, but there were a few big ones that Persephone had only heard of due to her mother's distaste of them.

Though even if it was someone horrid, what could she do? Persephone had no idea where she was, with no way of getting back home. She also had no desire to try and roam this land alone as it seemed dangerous. Persephone was a Goddess and she couldn't be killed but she could get hurt or kidnapped or worse. Her abilities in combat were lacking severely.

Persephone wasn't sure there was even a point to trying to run away. The man had his carriage. And, if he was honest, he did not want to harm her and, supposedly, she was safe here. As much as she did not like it, going with him was her best option.

Taking her first step out of the carriage, Persephone took his arm. As he started to walk into the palace, Persephone followed. The young goddess looked around cautiously, trying to take in her surroundings while also keeping her eyes on the man. There was an ominous feeling building up in Persephone's chest. She couldn't explain why, but Persephone felt out of place.

After a few steps inside, Persephone started to speak. "Who are you?" Her eyes lifted up, now focusing solely on him. Why did she feel so small compared to him? "Why have you brought me to this place?" There was no doubt in her mind that Demeter had nothing to do with what was occurring. Her mother would certainly not condone whatever was taking place.

A small inkling of pride washed over Hades as Persephone held onto his arm and allowed him to lead her into his home. Their home. Her touch was so soft, almost like that stuff the humans were now making, silk. So pure, so soft, Hades could relish in the mere touch of her hand on his arm for an eternity.

"That will come with time," Hades said casually as he walked with his soon to be bride into his home. Casually brushing off her questions about who he was and why she was here, instead of replying with his own questions for her. "Are you hungry? Thirsty at all?" Gods and goddesses didn't really need either, but, they found joy in acting like humans. Although some did need the sustenance as their powers take on a lot of energy at times.

Leading Persephone into his study, Hades motioned for the young woman to take a seat that was next to the fireplace. Where bright and beautiful flames danced along, tamely flickering their flamed tendrils against the stones. Not once daring to allow a spark to dance out of the hearth that it called it's home.

Moving to the other side, Hades sat across from Persephone. His eyes taking in her presence as he leaned back into his seat. His hands folding in his lap as he casually took in the beauty that was in front of him. Admiring those beautiful eyes, those soft lips of hers and that hair that was screaming for him to pull. "Now, you asked for my name, but I find that quite boring. So, we shall play a game instead." He told her, smirking a little bit as he raised a hand and gently ran it through his hair. "You have three guesses." Hades held up three fingers.

"You guess right, then nothing will happen. You lose, well. I won't give that away." Hades gave a small wink. Nothing like a little fear to make a woman's heart flutter. Right?

"No, I am not." Persephone spoke back to the man. Her voice was timid and unsure. She had hoped to get answers immediately but it seemed that the man wanted to wait a bit longer. That was not preferably but Persephone hoped that he would start speaking the truth soon.

As she followed him through the house, her eyes glanced over at the interior. It was unwelcoming, to say the least. There was an ominous presence about this place. There was little light. The walls and curtains were dark and the hall was only lit through lanterns. She found it difficult to believe that anyone would want to live in a place like this. It matched well with the strange place that they were in, finding the outside just as unfriendly as his home.

Soon, Persephone found herself being set next to a fireplace. The chair she was placed in was large for her, making the princess look even smaller than she was compared to the man and his home. Though, unlike the rest of the house, Persephone found some warmth and comfort from the fireplace. Her eyes casted down into it, watching the flames move swiftly. There was little need for a fire at home, as it was usually warm. Here she could see the need for it.

Her eyes lifted up as the man across from her started to speak again. Though, as he did so, the frown across her face grew. She didn't like the sound of the game. Firstly, Persephone knew her knowledge on the other Gods was limited, was there a chance of offending him if she were wrong? The young woman also was hesitant towards this unknown lose condition. Not knowing what would happen to her, if Persephone were wrong, made her heart pound faster.

"You promised you wouldn't harm me." Persephone reminded the man. She didn't know what her punishment would be but she had no interest in finding out. "I don't want to play a game." The goddess shifted uncomfortably in the chair, feeling anxious as to what the man would do. She just wanted to know what was going on but he had no interest in telling her.

Raising his hand, Hades waved away Persephone's words as if they were a pesky bug buzzing around his ear. "Who said anything about hurting you as punishment?" He asked, amusement dancing along in his eyes. "I certainly didn't." He offered a small smirk in the young goddesses direction before he raised his hand and snapped his pointer and thumb together. The sound loud and radiated through the whole palace.

Not even two seconds later, a woman with pale skin and smoky wisps of hair came into the room. A tight dress hugged her body but was also a little see through. She, was a ghost servant. Probably from the roman era from the way her dress was held together on the woman's petite body. In her hands was a tray that held a glass of what looked like wine.

"Leave." The ruler of the underworld said as soon as he snatched his drink form the tray. His eyes fell upon his soon to be wife as he brought the drink to his lips and took a few sips of the sour bubbly liquid. "Now, care to suggest who I might be or will you like to just skip introductions and just call me love? Or, would you prefer master?"

Of course, master was not what Hades would prefer his wife to call him. It was to domineering, and this little vixen seemed to pure of heart for such a harsh word to have pass her lips.

"Oh, silly me. I must of forgotten to also tell you why you're here. Didn't I?" Hades asked, fake surprise dripping from his lips as he swished the drink in his glass around for a moment before taking another few sips. "Well, I guess you could guess that as well. It'll be fun to hear what your thoughts are. So, go on. Tell me all of your darkest ideas of what you could be doing here."

As a ghostly woman suddenly appeared in the room, Persephone's eyes widen and she immediately leaned back into her chair. Her skin crawled at the sigh of an undead mortal. As a whole, Persephone did not see many mortals unless she was on their earthly plain, taking care of her responsibilities. They were nice enough but it was difficult to have much, if any, interaction with them. The Goddess had never seen a ghost and she had hoped that she would never have to.

Her attention was quick to move back to male once the woman was gone and the man was talking again. She tensed up even more as he continued to speak on. It was difficult to figure out what was going on here but she didn't like it, not one bit. "I have no intentions of calling you either such thing." Persephone responded to him, her body tensing up. The goddess was becoming scared that this was what Demeter had warned her about. It was one of the reasons Demeter offered as to why she had to be overly protective....

Though the man had promised that he would not hurt her, so Persephone could only hope that that promise could be used as an umbrella for many situations that Persephone would not want to be a part of. Did he consider hurting her only physical pain or would she be able to stretch it out for herself.

Despite not wanting to play the man's horrid game, Persephone started to think of who he might be and what the man wanted from her. It felt that the longer she tried to avoid it, the more that man would add on to the question, and maybe the punishment. Just playing the game was horrid enough for her but the man was insistence on it

"Are you Eros?" Persephone asked him, the goddess shifting uncomfortably before continuing on. "I... I hear Eros likes to force himself into the bed's of woman. Is that why I am here?" She was quiet for a moment before mumbling under her breath. "Mother always said this would happen."

At Persephone's suggestion that he might be Ero's, Hades couldn't help but snort. That was an amusement to the underworld god's ears. "You think that I am the god of love?" Hades asked, amusment dancing in his tone as he watched the young goddess. His lips pulled up slightly as he slowly shook his head, dashing her hopes that he's such a simple-minded fool of a god.

"I am not, guess again." He told her as he took another sip of the wine that his servant brought for him. The bitter liquid danced all the way down his throat as he relaxed and enjoyed the little game that they had going on here. "Think darling, think." Hades encouraged.

"Think about all that you have seen since you've gotten here." Hades encouraged her once more. He didn't want his bride to feel foolish for not getting her soon to be husbands title wrong. She was a young girl still though, so, Hades wouldn't actually be blown away if she had no idea who he was.

"I can give you a hint if you want," Hades suggested as he set his glass of wine down. His eyes staying on Persephone the whole time. "But, in return, you have to share something about yourself, and I don't mean anything superficial, either," Hades told her, sitting up. The god of the underworld intertwined his fingers in his lap. Her gaze looking at the goddess in an intrigued way. No hint of his usual malice towards all things living or dead in them. For Persephone somehow brought out a gentler side of the dark god. Just being around her caused him to want to relax and take in all that she had to offer him.

Slowly, Hades licked his lips. A tired sigh escaped from his lips as he stood up from his chair and moved towards the fireplace that was in his study. He placed one arm on the top of it and leaned against it. His head turned to the side to glance at his bride. "You know what, something tells me that you won't be able to guess who I am." He said, the side of his face glowing from the light of the fire. "So, why don't you just name all of the gods you know and I'll let you know if I'm one of those, or not." Hades blinked slowly as he took in the sweet appearance of Persephone, Curious as to rather or not she'd of heard of him or not.

"If you haven't heard of me, then I'll just end the game and tell you who I am. But, you still haven't guessed why you're here. Don't forget that part." Hades sent a smirk towards the girl, wondering what she'd do next.

Frustration was starting to roll off of Persephone as the man continued to speak. It was unfair that he wanted to play these little games with her, especially at a moment like this. She was afraid and confused. Wasn't it clear that she had no idea who he was or why she was here? Persephone didn't even know where they were! It was unlike Olympus, that was certain. She had no seen any place like this in the mortal realm, but she also knew she hadn't been shown everything there.

"Do you always play such cruel games with the people that you kidnap?" Persephone hissed. "I do not know who you are or why I am here. I know you are a God but you are certainly not one I met before." The Goddess moved onto her feet, her eyes now narrowing at him. The young woman knew that there was not much she could do combat wise against him, but she was fed up with sitting back and allowing him to speak down to her. She didn't like combat but she was goddess. She deserved a certain amount of respect from all, including the others at her level.

"At this point, I can only assume that you have something nefarious in mind for me, or you are trying to use me as a hostage against my mother or father. I guarantee that, if you are, going up against Zeus is a mistake on your part. You are much more likely to be punished before he gives into any demands. I am willing to keep quiet about this situation if you bring me home now." Persephone was fuming at this point. She hoped that the man would give in and realize his mistake but it seemed unlikely. What she needed to count on was her mother quickly finding out she had disappeared. It was likely she would go to Zeus. Missing Gods and Goddess are taken quite seriously.

The woman let her eyes look him up and down for another moment. She was quite sure she hadn't met him and didn't know him. Most of the Gods and Goddess she knew were ones that Demeter had allowed her to meet. There were some exceptions, mostly those that Artemis spoke of. Though she was rather sure he was not Aphrodite or Pan.

A rather annoyed sigh escaped from Hades as he raised a hand and ran it through his hair. It seemed like the little game he wanted to play was now over. It was clear as day to him that the young woman in front of him knew little to nothing at all about him or any of the other gods or goddesses that lived in this universe. It was such a shame really, that Demeter raised her daughter to be so clueless. This could have gone so much better had she not sheltered her own daughter to the extent that she had no idea that the king of hell was sitting right in front of her.

"On the contrary my love, I think that overzealous god would be quite ecstatic that I have you in my clutches." Hades said, allowing for his lips to twitched into a small smirk as he watched Persephone release some emotions that weren't related to that happy go lucky era she'd been emitting earlier at that party.

Slowly, the god of the underworld sat up straighter in his char. He wanted to be comfortable for the grand reveal of who he was. "Now, I want you to think long and hard about this. Surely, your mother said something about me. For heaven's sake she loathes me for the stupidest of reasons." Hades snorted and rolled his eyes before continued. "I am the one who the dead go to. I live in the underworld where fire and screaming moans of the wrenched and the wicked thrive." Hades paused as he stood up, wanting to give effect to his worlds.

"I am the one that holds the most fear in the human's hearts, I am the one who can cause the death of a human at any moment." Hades moved around the chairs and the little coffee table that was in the room. Moving so that he was standing behind Persephone, then moving his hands and grasping her hips and pulling them back so that her body was pressed against hers. "I am the one who you belong to, I am the one you will be marrying and there is no way getting out of it." His tone was smooth and cool, final. "I am Hades, the King of the Underworld, the bringer of death and I have your father, Zeus', a blessing to wed you and make you mine." He told her, smirking as he let her go, waiting to see if she'd dare to slap him. Cry out that she was not an object. Do anything that was remotely interesting.

The girl stayed in her spot as she watched the God seemingly make a big theatrical reveal about himself. At first, none of the words that he said resonated with her. To her, they were words with little meaning. She didn't quite understand what the man was trying to say. A good portion of Gods and Goddess scared the humans. It wasn't particularly difficult to frighten them.

Though panic set in her heart as he pressed his hands against her hips, grabbing onto her. Goosebumps ran down her back as she felt the man against her skin. The flowers that once adorned her head and hair quickly dropped and were replaced by thorns. Persephone wrapped her arms around herself, her heart was dropping hard in her chest as he continued to speak. She didn't know who Hades was but it didn't sound good. Though, worse than that, Zeus gave his blessing for a marriage between them? Now that was horrifying.

Once he let go of, Persephone was quick to pull away and turn to the man, not wanting her back faced to him. She could feel the tears beginning to swell up in her eyes but she didn't let them fall. Persephone didn't want to cry in front of this heartless monster. "I am not a mortal. Neither you or Zeus can force me into doing this," Persephone hissed at him. "I will not be marrying some horrible man that I don't know."

Technically, Persephone was not wrong. Neither of them could force her to go through with the marriage. They couldn't make her say the oath, couldn't make her be his wife. It wasn't in their right to. She was a Goddess and there were certain rules that demanded to be followed in that. But they could make it difficult for her to say no. A blessing was not a contract for them. All it meant was Zeus approved but they would still need Persephone to do what they want.

With that, the Goddess turned and headed right out of the door of the study. Based off his words, Persephone could only assume she was in the Underworld. That made a couple of things clearer to her. She knew nothing about the Underworld but at least it would be better than staying in some palace with the King of it. And Persephone did know that there had to be a way in and out of here. Now she just needed to get to the entrance they came in and leave.
