Aeri offered him the water bottle, before pulling out some of the food. "I didn't know what you liked, so I just got some of everything that looked fresh." She told him, before grabbing herself the other bottle. After munching away on her food, she turned to look at him. "I'd plan on sun bathing, as my dad wouldn't let me leave." She told him, "hence the bathing suit earlier." She told him.

Grant smiled and thanked her. He took a bite of the food. "Well, you will be able to sun bath again, once we get to my place," he said lightly. He smiled softly, "I hope you'll be able to put up with it, the area is quite beautiful," he added. He packed away the purchases she'd made, after he'd finished eating, and climbed onto the bike. "With luck, we'll get there in a couple hours," he said.

Aeri watched as he packed away things knowing he was ready to get back onto the road. "I don't know how you do it." She told him, "riding this thing for so long." She moved to throw her trash away. "My legs are killing me." She said, before slipping back on the bike. Her hands slipping back around his waist, as she knew she couldn't ride like she'd seen some other chicks do. She guess it just came with experience riding.

Grant smiled gently and shifted slightly to give her more room. He turned his head to her, "A lot of practice, and experience," he said softly. He tapped her leg gently, "They'll get a rest when we get there," he promised. With that, he turned and started the bike, pulling out onto the road, and driving towards the mountains.

Aeri felt a bit weird when he touched her leg, she wasn't grossed out by it. Which was totally odd as he was some old guy. But she just figured it was because she was cuddled up on him and not thinking about it dirty. So she should see the leg as a sign of it either. Letting her thoughts fade from her head, she was every much ready for some r and r. Though she was glad he told her she'd be able to sun bathe. However she didn't have anything to do it in other than her bra and panties. Though she couldn't care less, either way. It wasn't like most of her bathing suit weren't as reviling as her bras and panties. But she couldn't be bothered with it right now, first thing she was going to do when they got to where ever, was sleep.

Grant rode in silence, and as he pulled onto the unmarked mountain trail he slowed down. "Alright, you should hold on tighter, this last part, is a little tricky," he warned her. True to his word, the last mile or so of their journey, was up the side of the mountain, on an unmarked, and practically non existent trail. The journey ended as Grant pulled up outside his Cabin. He turned the bike off, "So what do you think?" he asked curious.

Aeri did as she was instructed and wrapped her arms around him tighter. She pressed in as best at she could, hoping that it wasn't to rough. But he'd been true to his word, and several times she felt her grip slipping. But when they finally reached his cabin. She practically fell off the bike, stumbling as she caught herself. Turning to look up at the house, she was a bit surprised. It didn't seem like him to be honest. It really looked like a place she'd go for vacation. "It's nice." She told him, knowing that she was a bit wore out to be discussing his lodging right now.

Grant smiled softly, "thanks, go on in, I'll put the bike away," he said softly. He carefully rolled the back away, and closed his shed. He knew his house would be tidy, and empty still, no one knew how to find it, except for him. He slung the bags over his shoulders again, and headed inside to search for her.

Aeri walked into his house, she felt a bit odd just wondering around. But she couldn't help herself if she was going to be staying here then she'd need to know where everything was. Keeping to the basic, she went back to the living room when she felt content enough. Though she was extremely disappointed, there wasn't shit to do here. And there was basically nothing here.

Grant smiled seeing her in the living room, "Sorry that it's a bit sparse, I don't really have need of much," he admitted. He put the bags down on the coffee table. "There are a few books around, or there is plenty of beautiful sights out in the mountains," he commented. He reached for his shoulder, which at this point was truly killing him, after hours of riding with it injured

Aeri looked at him, her eyes moving to his wound. She knew he must be in pain. But he seemed like he didn't care or want someone doting on him. So she chose to ignore the question on the tip of her tongue. Instead she settled for a different one. "Where will I be sleeping?" She was rather tired and just wanted to rest up.

Grant watched her, and smiled, "Come on, I'll show you," he said. He led her towards the spare room. It was pretty cramped, but had a comfortable bed, and it's own connected bathroom. Grant smiled softly at her, "It's got fresh sheets," he said in an apologetic tone, knowing she was probably used to something much nicer

She looked around the room, just glad that she'd have her own privacy. "Well I'm beat, so I'd just like to get some sleep," she told him truthfully. In all honesty she didn't even care if she had any clothing to change into after she woke up, that's how tired she was.

Grant nodded to her, "I understand, go ahead, I'll be around, come find me when you wake up," he said softly. He turned and started heading away, leaving her to it. He just wanted to sit down and deal with his shoulder, and pack away his things.

Once Grant left the room she closed the door over, not realizing it didn't latch. Shedding the coat she took of the vest as well. Dropping them to the side. Kicking her shoes off she quickly pulled her pants of, her shirt and bra soon followed. She wasn't one for sleeping in much. Climbing into the bed she sighed feeling the fresh sheets, stretching out. It didn't take long for her to pass out.

Grant headed to the lounge, walking to his medical kit. He then stripped off his shirt, and got to work cleaning up his arm. It would just be one more scar, to add to his already extensive collection. After he'd cleaned up his shoulder, Grant sorted out his bags, stashing them away, locking the money from Stefano away in his safe room, along with his weapons.

Once that was done, Grant got himself a beer, and sat down on the couch. He eventually passed out himself.

Aeri woke for her 'nap', not even sure what time it was. She stretched before searching for her shirt. Pulling it on she walked out of her room, heading down the hallway to the kitchen. She paused in the living room. Looking at Grant passed out on the couch. Shrugging it off she knew he needed sleep. She then headed to the kitchen, looking around for something to drink. Surprised when she stumbled on beer. Not that she enjoyed the taste, but some alcohol might do a bit of good for her nerves and stress.

Grant stirred slightly as he heard a noise in the cabin. He sat up from the couch, knife in hand, deftly pulled from underneath it, and looked around. He relaxed seeing Aeri, "hey how'd you sleep?" he said softly moving over on the couch, so she could join him if she wanted.

Grant wasn't sure what to do, or how to deal with having someone here, under his protection, it was a new thing to him

Aeri opened the beer as she walked, taking a drink of it, "good." She told him, moving over to the couch tucking her leg under before she sat. She shifted looking at him, "you?" She smiled. She was still groggy from her sleep. The reality of the situation hadn't hit her yet.

Grant stretched and yawned slightly, "I slept okay," he said softly. He put the knife down on the coffee table. "So sometime tomorrow, we can head out to pick up some supplies, I'm going to be honest, it'll probably not be the type of stuff you are used to," he commented. He wanted her to be comfortable, but wasn't going to risk driving all the way to the city again.
