A small sigh escaped from Vincent as he allowed Charlotte to speak her mind. To go against his wishes, his command, and speak so as not to anger her more. Females were always easy to control in the past, nowadays's though. They're more of a headache. Especially the ones who don't know of things that lurk in the dark. Charlotte was aggravating to Vince, she was so blind to the other side that she refuses to be anything but ignorant.

Pursing his lips together as Charlotte finally seemed to give up, Vince allowed for a small sigh to escape past his lips. "Alright." He murmured quietly, his shoulders relaxing as he seemed like he was giving up. When in actuality he wasn't. Moving forward unexpectantly, Vince lowered his top half slightly as he grabbed onto Charlotte's waist quickly and threw her onto his shoulder as he stood up straight. One of his arms wrapping around her waist to keep her stable while the other one held onto her legs so that she wouldn't be able to somehow kick him in the face.

The human girl weighed little to nothing as Vince carried her kicking and screaming through the forest. His hold not budging in the bit as he walked, his lips were sealed shut, not voicing his displeasure in anything. Just allowing for her to get her anger out so that she might hopefully calm herself down a little bit.

A couple of moments later, Vince and Charlotte arrived back at the house. Walking inside, Vince walked right towards the kitchen and spotted Lucas at the table. A bowl of cereal in front of him that was almost empty. "Shouldn't you be at school?" Vince asked as he set Charlotte down in a chair not so gently and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Stay." He murmured in her ear as he stood up and went to grab her a bowl. "I woke up late, Henry made my watch Caden last night and the little shit wore me out," Lucas murmured, glancing towards Charlotte and then back towards his cereal.

The only sound from Vince was the clanking of the bowls as he grabbed one. His annoyance at the boy would be for another time, for now. He was to deal with Charlotte. So, bringing the bowl with him. Vince walked to the table and set it down in front of her. Then, he grabbed the box of cinnamon toast crunch on the table and poured it in before adding the milk for Charlotte. "Eat." He murmured as he placed the spoon he'd gotten from the kitchen in her bowl for her. Then, Vince sat next to Charlotte as he waited for her to listen to him.

"I'd listen, Vince can get grouchy when he's disobeyed," Lucas murmured, glancing at Charlotte and offering a wink as he saw Vince give him a glare.

As she saw his shoulders slump over, Charlotte thought that she was finally going to get the answers that she was looking for. Why this man decided to kidnap her and bring her here all under this pretense that she needed his protection. The young woman's eyes widen and she leaned forward slightly in anticipation. Though in a blink of an eye, she suddenly felt herself getting grabbed from around the waist and lifted up into the air. A loud gasp left the woman as she grabbed onto whatever was causing this shift in movement.

Charlotte found herself folded over Vincent's body, grabbing onto his shirt for dear life in fear of falling over. Though once he started to move, she started to struggle in his grip. "Goddamn, it Vincent! Put me down!" She screamed at him, throwing her body this way and that. Even trying to move her legs in an attempt to kick the man in the stomach. But his grip around her waist and legs were too strong for the woman to break free. So she released her grip on his shirt and started to pound on his back, no longer caring if she might fall flat on her face. At least then she would be free to run. "Let me go you fucking asshole!"

As they continued through the forest, the young lady continued to throw obscenities at him and demand that she be released. Though by the time the house was in view, Charlotte had grown tired. Trying to fight against what seemed to be an immovable wall wore her down. And she found that she could only scream at someone who was not responding back for so long. So she had resorted to allowing the upper half of her body swing upside down as he carried her and her hits to his back felt nothing more than a poke.

The frustration and irritation that Charlotte felt, on the other hand, had not simmered down by the time Vincent had sat her down in the chair. Charlotte's eyes rolled as he told her to stay in the seat, but nonetheless, she did. It was getting very clear that fighting or running from Vincent was not an option. She would need to do something else to get out of this. Her eyes shifted over to the other man in the room, however, wondering if this stranger would be any help in her current situation. It seemed unlikely but still worth a shot. "You're friend here kidnapped me," Charlotte told the stranger. "Are you going to help me or is this just a normal occurrence for Vincent?" She shot Vincent a glare.

The glare lightened up, however, as he started to make her a bowl of cereal. What a strange, strange man. Her eyes shifted down at it as Vincent commanded for her to eat before her head lifted back up to look at the stranger who was speaking. Charlotte couldn't lie to herself, she was starving. So much so that her hands were shaking from the lack of food. But eating something that a kidnapper was offering seemed like a bad idea. "I don't give a fuck if he gets grouchy. What is this, the 50s? I am not going to do what he says just because he tells me to."

Charlotte turned back to Vincent. "How do I know you're not trying to drug me again? Or worse for that matter. And you said that you would explain what is going on but you haven't. I don't trust you." With that, she pushed the bowl away.

A small sigh escaped from Lucas as he listened to the new woman's little attitude problem. He had been informed by Vincent of the situation as well as the others who were home, and wasn't sure how to act. "To answer your question, Ma'am, no it's not common. But everything that Alpha Vincent does is for a reason." Lucas murmured quietly, his eyes focused on his bowl as he twirled his spoon around in the milk. His hunger seemed to have disappeared as he spoke to the female.

Shifting a glance towards Lucas, Vince gave the younger man a small not before looking towards Charlotte. "More so the 40's, but close enough," Vince murmured quietly as he leaned over slightly and grabbed the bowl that was in front of Charlotte. He held the thing by the bottom in one hand and used his free hand to grasp the spoon. Making sure to keep eye contact with Charlotte, Vince took a spoonful of cereal and ate it. He took two more bites before setting the bowl down once more in front of Charlotte. "There, see. I'm alive." Vince then motioned for her to eat.

"But the toilet won't later," Lucas murmured, and then ducked his head lower as he dodged a smack on the head from Vince as he leaned over to try and discipline the boy. "Haha, very funny. You little shit." Vince murmured and rolled his eyes before looking towards Charlotte. "Eat, you will learn once you've eaten something," Vince said to Charlotte and he motioned once more towards the bowl. Doing his best to encourage her to eat the cereal.

"Shit, why's it so intense in here?" Another voice spoke as Max entered the kitchen. Upon seeing Charlotte and Vince, Max's playful gaze slowly looked away out of respect. Not meeting them in the eyes. If Charlotte paid attention to some of her classes, she'd of recognized Max as one of the guys who'd been busy flirting with different women while having Isabella following him around like a lost puppy on campus. Not wanting to be caught up in the intense atmosphere like Lucas, Max moved to try and walk out of the room but stopped as Vince spoke up. "Max, join us. We're going to have a pack conversation." A small sigh escaped from Max, but he didn't allow anymore sas to escape from him as he moved to join the table after getting a cup of coffee.

Charlotte's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion as the man across from her called Vincent 'Alpha Vincent'. What kind of weird house was this? Did they larp or something? Or perhaps it was some kind of house dynamic that they all followed. While it was not a frat house, Charlotte knew that there were times they did weird things like that, gave the president a different name. Or just fucked around for no reason. It was just odd but not something worth dwelling on, at least not in her eyes. She had more pressing issues. Like what was going on and how to get out of here. Even if Vincent was being honest, and she was in danger, she still did not feel safe here.

The young woman folded her shaking hands together, setting them down in her lap before she turned her gaze back to Vincent. She watched closely as he picked up the bowl and started to eat from it. While the intense eye contact was a lot to handle, she couldn't help but feel just a tad bit better about the food. If Vincent was willing to eat it, then it probably wasn't poisoned or drugged. Charlotte let out a sigh as Vincent insisted that he would tell her nothing until after she ate. Why it had to be done in a certain order was beyond her but it seemed that they were at an impasse until one of them bent... Unfortunately, it was going to have to be her.

"You really are impossible," Charlotte mumbled as she brought the bowl closer to herself and picked up the spoon. All the while, the young woman was mentally noticing that Vincent apparently was lactose intolerant? At least that was how the other boy made it sound. Perhaps she could overload the asshole with dairy and run away when he was unable to follow her... How Charlotte would do that was beyond her though. What was the likelihood that they would let her cook in the kitchen or eat what she made? Charlotte had half a mind to poison them all.

As Charlotte started to eat the breakfast provided, her eyes shifted up to see another man enter the room and promptly be told to sit down. Damn, did everyone in this God-forsaken house listen to Vincent? The man wasn't a god, just a dictator. Soon enough though, the young woman finished what was given to her. She set the spoon down in the empty bowl before looking back at Vincent. In truth, she was still hungry. A single bowl of cereal was barely enough to satisfy her on a normal day. But at least her shaking hands had calmed down and Charlotte wanted answers more than she wanted whatever random bit of food Vincent would offer her. "I have eaten, happy?"

A small sigh escaped from Vincent as he watched Charlotte finally eating the small bowl of cereal that he had placed in front of her. "Not impossible, just worried," Vince murmured quietly. It's been hours since Charlotte had eaten and Vince wasn't aware of how much longer she would have been able to go with nothing in that stomach of hers. Vince and his pack could go a couple of days perfectly fine. Even little Caleb could go without food, but he'd cry about it. Charlotte though, she was human and Vince heard horror stories of them dying by starvation after not eating for just a couple of days.

"Much." Vince finally murmured as Charlotte finished her meal and sat up straighter in his seat. Clearing his throat, Vince folded his hands together and rested them on the table. His gaze flicking towards Charlotte and his packmates for a moment before looking back towards Charlotte. "Max," Vince murmured quietly and then motions with his hand for the young man to stand as he kept his eyes focused on Charlotte. "Shift." The word was simple and would most likely have little to no meaning to Charlotte for now, but she'll learn. She'll have to accept it.

A small sigh escaped from Max as he stood from his chair and turned his back to Charlotte as he started to undress. Normally he'd be fine doing so in front of the guys, but seeing as he didn't know Charlotte and she didn't know him, Matt was just trying to be kind. Plus, he was almost certain that Vince would have kicked his ass if Charlotte saw his junk before his own. In the blink of an eye, once Max was fully naked, he started to shift into his wolf form. Fur started to cover his body and his bones bent and shifted. The whole process was relatively quick and painless for the seasoned pro but come to a younger werewolf, this shift would be long and painful.

"We're werewolves, Charlotte," Vince murmured as he looked towards Max and watched the man shifting. "Your friends are as well." Vince looked towards Charlotte as he spoke some more. "They've also marked you, on your neck. You can't see it because you're human, but we can see it as clear as day." Vince slowly ran his tongue along his lips. "I have reason to believe that you're in danger, that they have dangerous plans for you. That is why you're here Charlotte. To protect you."

Out of the corner of his eye, Vince could see Max slowly making his way towards Charlotte's side and sit down. His eyes down out of respect as he waited to see what the human would do with him up close. "We will protect you, Charlotte," Vince repeated, glancing at the two who were currently around the table with him.

When Vincent cleared his throat, Charlotte started to perk up. It seemed that she was finally going to find out the truth. Though the woman doubted that he was going to say anything that would convince her that this was a logical action to take. Hell, he kidnapped her? How was that better than just explaining the situation and asking Charlotte if she wanted to go into hiding with him? Though, before she got herself too wound up again, Charlotte took a deep breath and watched closely. That was when the stranger started to take his clothes off.

Charlotte's eyes went wide as she realized that this man was going to undress fully in front of her. Her heart started to pound incredibly fast, suddenly worried about what was going to happen. The anxiousness was high and just before she was about to get out of her seat and take another run for it, the man was suddenly changing. It seemed to last only a moment before the human man that had been in front of her suddenly turned into a wolf. All of the blood seemed to rush from the woman's face and her eyes were as wide as saucers. Her hands gripped onto her thighs and, for a moment, she forgot how to breathe.

As Vincent was speaking, the young woman was unable to take her eyes off of the wolf that was suddenly in the house. His words were coming into her head and beating like a drum. Though she was having a hard time really understanding what this all meant for her... They were werewolves...werewolves existed...her friends...were...

The woman could suddenly feel herself growing dizzy as she still was not breathing how she should, the anxiousness getting to her. Though she watched the room around her spin as the used to be man, now wolf made his way over to her side. He sat down, his head down and with a shaky hand, Charlotte slowly reached out her hand and pressed it against his fur, checking to see if this was real. If this was actually happening in front of her. Though as she felt it under her fingers, she only had a moment to confirm before Charlotte was suddenly out. Her whole body collapsed and the passed-out woman was quickly making her way to fall right into the wolf beside her.

Without even a moment's thought, Vincent lept from his seat towards Charlotte and wrapped his arms around her before she could hit the floor. His right arm cushioning her head and protecting it as his other arm protected her upper body from colliding with the hard ground. "Charlotte?" Vince said calmly as he looked down at the unconscious woman in his arms. Shaking her slightly to see if she'd stir with the movement. "Well, that went well," Lucas murmured from his spot before excusing himself as he saw the glare that Vince had given him.

A small sigh escaped from Vince as he slowly stood up with Charlotte in his arms. "Thanks, Max. You can shift back now if you want." Vince murmured as he passed by his friend as he headed out of the room and towards the stairs. He needed to take Charlotte upstairs so that she could rest in bed. The last thing he needed was to leave her laying on the floor and then freak because she'd of thought of him as an even bigger bastard for leaving her alone in the kitchen unconscious.

Opening the door with ease, Vince quietly closed it and then headed towards the bed where he easily laid her down. Vince made sure to pull Charlotte's shoes off for her before covering her with a blanket. Then, he headed towards the bathroom where he stripped slowly and placed his clothing on the counter. Shifting into his wolf form, Vince moved quietly towards the bed and jumped on. When he was carrying the young girl, he could feel her shivering slightly and was worried that the shock was making her body grow cold from anxiety.

Laying down on the bed, Vince made sure that his large wolf form was pressed nicely against her side. His head resting on the pillow as he didn't want to lay on her chest and freak her out and calling him a pervert. Although he did wonder how her chest would feel under his head or his hands. But alas, he was trying to get Charlotte to like him so he was doing his best to be a gentleman. He'll wait for their bond to grow stronger before he'd try something like that. For now, he'll just try and keep her warm as she slept.

Luckily enough, only a half hour passed before Charlotte started to come to. At first, the woman's cold body shifted until it was curled up against the warm and soft thing that had been pressing into her side. With her arm slightly around it, and her face pressed into the fur, Charlotte was finally able to settle. A light sigh left her as she relaxed, now beginning to slowly come back to conciousness. In a half awake state, her fingers slowly brushed against the fur. It was a calming action to her, and something that she could easily focus on as she woke.

Charlotte's eyes opened slowly and her first sight was the warn fur that pressds against her cheek. At first, she assumed that it was a pillow or blanket. Though, after a moment, the young woman noticed how it rose and fell in turn with her own breathing, like it was breathing as well. This is when she started to pull away, lightly holding onto her head as she did so as it was throbbing ever so lightly.

Once she pulled back, she was able to see that it was actually alive and a creature. At first glance, Charlotte, figured that it was a dog. A very large dog but a dog just the less. At least until she sat back a little more and realized that it was the wolf from the woods. So, she continued to pet the kind creature. How did it get in here? That thought was what made if all come crashing down. Did it all really happen? It seemed silly that the answer would be yes. That werewolves really existed but Charlotte knew what she saw. She knew that it was all true.

Her hand slowly raised up and away from the wolf. "H-Hello?" Charlotte whispered uneasily, unsure if it was a real wolf or a person-wolf-thing. What was she to do if werewolves really existed?

Laying down next to Charlotte really wasn't the plan, but. He'd barely gotten any sleep last night as he had been too worried that something could have happaned to her. Who knows if that other pack would track them down to his home and ambush them? Or, if there were other preditors in those woods. He didn't know this land as well as he could. So, it was better safe than sorry. Plus, he wanted to make sure that his mate stayed warm, it did get a tad bit cold last night.

Feeling movement next to him, Vince's eyes shot open for a moment before relaxing. His room, he was in his room and he could smell Charlotte's scent coming from beside him. So, slowly turning his head, Vince rested his head on his paws as he watched Charlotte quietly. Examining her, taking in her body language and how she spoke. She didn't seem terrified as he had thought she would be. Just, confused? Maybe, she had just woken up after all.

A small grunt escaped from Vince as his response of a greeting. He was too tired to really give her anything else. He also couldn't talk to her in this form, which makes it a bit challenging as well but he could easily fix that. Fixing that is what he plans on doing as Vincent slowly stood up on the bed and jumped down the side of it. He cast a small glance at Charlotte before heading towards the bathroom and shift. He made sure to keep the door mostly close as he shifted, wanting to give her some sort of comfort as she barely knew him still. "Are you feeling alright?" Vincent called once he was fully shifted. Then, he pulled on a pair of pants before moving out to his bedroom. His gaze on the girl as he slowly put on the shirt that he had been carrying in his hands on.

"Is your head hurting more than it did this morning? I can fetch some of my medic's." Vincent said calmly as he stopped at the foot of the bed. His gaze slowly looking over Charlotte, examining her. Seeing if there was any sort of injury that he had missed when he carried her inside earlier.

Charlotte looked down at the wolf with large eyes as she waited for some indication on if this was a real wolf or one of the werewolves that apparently existed. The small grunt the wolf gave made her think that perhaps it was just a real wolf, which was okay with her at this point. Actually, more than just okay since Charlotte knew this was the wolf friend she had made, and dealing with an actual wolf somehow seemed easier than dealing with a human-wolf hybrid. Though when the creature got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, her heartbeat a bit faster until a voice came from there.

Her hands reached up and ran through her hair, feeling a bit stressed at the confirmation that it was real life and not some kind of dream she had. Werewolves existed. They existed and she was currently in the same room as one. Who was also the person who decided to kidnap her for her own good, which apparently was her friends also being werewolves but being the bad kind. What kind of Hell did she get herself into.

Rubbing her face in an attempt to calm down, Charlotte fell back into the bed. "Oh, just peachy-keen." She called back out to him, her fingers pressing into her forehead a little. She didn't even know what to do with this information right now. Was it safer to stay or to run? Werewolves existed, clearly but what did that mean for her and was it certain that her friends were also wolves but evil? Surely, he could be mistaken. From everything he told her, the only thing she could be certain was that werewolves existed and that he was one of them. She let out a little bit of a frustrated sigh. Though as she heard that Vincent was back in the room, Charlotte dropped her hands and looked back at him. "Yes, it definitely is." Charlotte mumbled as she grabbed the blanket and pulled it over her head.

Though just as quickly as she pulled it over, Charlotte threw it back down and sat up. Her eyes glanced over Vincent for a long moment, trying to determine if there was anything different about him. But he just looked like a normal man. There didn't seem to be some indication of how to tell if he was a werewolf or not. "How do you know their wolves? Or that they are trying to hurt me? I have been friends with them for years. It doesn't make sense that they would do something to me now."

As Vincent watched Charlotte, he couldn't help but arch a brow in amusement. She was acting childish with the blanket and it was taking everything in him to not smile as he watched her. His head shook ever so slightly before he just let out a sigh as she asked her questions. Then, he just raised his right hand and tapped his nose for a second to indicate what he meant. "I could smell them." It was an easy answer, one that honestly an elementary schooler should know. Animals can smell each other, and when Vincent shifts he can smell others of his kind.

"Charlotte," Vincent said quietly as he slowly moved to sit at the foot of the bed. His body turned slightly so that he could look towards her. "A pack does not take a human into their group for no reason." Vince started to say, then stopped to slowly lick his lips. "Plus, I've looked into this group with my people, and well. They've gotten quite a few strikes against them. Going against our laws. As well as our customs."

"Have you heard of the disappearances that happen every fall? One or two people have started to go missing in this area for years. Starting around when that group moved into their territory," Standing up, Vince stretched his arms above his head and let out a small sigh. "Now, I don't know about you but I don't really want to be stuck inside all day. Do you want to go explore the house or take a walk?" Vince suggested to Charlotte hoping, these suggestions will get Charlotte's mind on something else.

As Vincent spoke, Charlotte wasn't sure how much she believed him. There was no doubting that werewolves existed. She had seen it twice now and she trusted her own eyes. Though, his words about her friends... That was harder to believe. They were her friends, people she had helped her and she had been around for years. Charlotte had no reason to doubt them besides what Vincent was saying. Though, the issue with that was that she didn't fully trust him. Was Vincent really speaking the truth or was he lying to her? If she could only talk to her friends, maybe this could all start making sense. Maybe Vincent was just mistaken. Even if his intentions were good, which she wasn't sure they were, who knew if he was actually right?

Charlotte slowly sat up in the bed, glancing out of the window to the forest. She still felt uneasy with Vincent. How could she not? Though, the woman did not feel like she was in immediate danger with him. If he was planning on doing something to her, it seemed like she had some time before he did. She needed a moment to think over her next steps. This was all too much information at once and she didn't know Vincent well enough to know if he was actually a good person or not.

"Yeah, that would be good." Charlotte mumbled to him before she got out of the bed. She glanced up at Vincent for a long second before continuing. "Maybe a house tour would be good?" With that, she followed him a couple of steps out but stopped before they reached the hallway. "Wait. Since I know the truth now, does that mean- can I go home if I wanted to?"

A small smile played along Vincent's lips as he listened to Charlotte. Good, she was taking this calmly. Not yelling at him at the top of her lungs. Slowly, Vince turned and started to lead the way out of his bedroom only to pause and look towards Charlotte as she pokes once more. His right eyebrow arching as he listened to her question. His lips, moving into a thin line. "No, I'm afraid not. At least, not yet." Vince said calmly as he then motioned with his head for Charlotte to follow him out of the bedroom.

"That room you were just in, was my bedroom," Vince said quietly as he waited for Charlotte to exit before closing the door of his room. No one was allowed entry in there unless he allowed it. "To the right, is Max's room, and then next to him is Lucas' room," Vince said quietly as he walked down the hall and pointed at what room was what. "Spare bathroom, Caleb's room." Vince said and opened the door slowly and peeked inside to see that the kid was asleep on his father, Marcus', chest. Both sound asleep. "You'll meet Marcus once he's awake," Vince murmured quietly as he closed the door.

"Marcus' room, and then that's my office," Vince murmured quietly as he pointed to the last bedroom that was upstairs. "Upstairs is pretty boring, and what you'd expect for anyone. Mostly bedroom." Vince said as he glanced at Charlotte. "The main floor is more interesting, we've got an indoor swimming pool, and what Lucas likes to call the theater room slash arcade," Vince said as he motioned for Charlotte to follow him as he walked down the stairs.

"We're not bad people, Charlotte," Vince said quietly. "I know you probably hate me right now, but believe me. I wish things were different just as much as you."

A bit of a frown came over her face when Vincent told her that she couldn't go home. She had been expecting it but it still displeased her. Charlotte had hoped that, if she didn't want their help, it wouldn't be forced on her. It just made her certain that there was something going on here that Vincent wasn't telling her. "Then when?" Charlotte asked, deciding to push the issue a bit. "What about classes? People are going to notice if I go missing."

Charlotte stepped out of the bedroom, glancing back at it for a moment when he revealed that it was his room. She wondered if he was going to keep letting her sleep in there while she was forced to stay here. Her lips pressed together at the thought of it before her face started to relax again. She needed to figure this all out. But, for now, a tour of the house would help a bit. In the least, she would know where everything is.

As he mentioned that the upstairs was what one would expect, Charlotte nodded a bit. She followed him down the stairs, noticing that there were some fun things to do in the house. At least it sounded like she wouldn't be bored while she was here. "That sounds like fun." Charlotte murmured softly.

Her eyes were quick to lift up as he mentioned that she probably hated him. Vincent wasn't wrong. She was furious about how everything had gone down. And she was sure how much of his words she trusted either. Even so, she had a hard time believing that Vincent was truly evil as much as he was... misguided? Maybe a bit foolish? Stubborn, as well. It was just the way he acted and presented himself. "It can be different, Vincent." She whispered. "You don't have to keep me here."

As Vincent slowly walked down the stairs, he couldn't help but pause his movements for a moment before turning sideways so that he can look up towards Charlotte. "I had someone hack your schedule, you're on medical leave until further notice," Vince said simply and then turned back around as he continued down the steps. Although he was moving a bit slower as he got to the bottom. Then, as he stepped off the last step, Vince stepped to the side and held out a hand for Charlotte to take to help her down the steps. It was just an old habit of Vince's that he couldn't shake off. "You're right, I don't have to," Vincent said quietly as he waited for Charlotte to come down the last few steps.

"What kind of mate would I be though if I allowed for you to be on your own when you're in danger?" Vince asked, arching a brow and then turning his back to Charlotte as he once more started to walk. "Kitchen's through there, you've already seen it." Vince said as he pointed to the room across from the stairs. "Normal looking living room, and then here we've got our little arcade theater room." Vince said as he stopped at a closed door and opened it for Charlotte. "The main difference between this room and the main living room is that we keep the game systems in here and we have a few pinball machines in the back," Vince explained.

"If you go down the hall, you'll come across the indoor pool. It's not really bit, but it's nice for when you want to take a dip and it's raining or to cold outside." Vincent stepped to the side of the arcade door frame so that Charlotte could go inside if she wanted to. "What were you going to school for?" Vince asked quietly, watching Charlotte as she moved about.

At hearing that she was suddenly on medical leave at school, Charlotte closed her eyes before letting out a long sigh. It seemed that Vincent had everything figured out when it came to her kidnapping. Which, certainly was not what Charlotte wanted to hear. She wanted a way out. To go home, go to school, talk to those she wanted to talk to. As well as find a way to resolve this issue herself. Despite the truths Vincent had revealed, she could not believe that her friends were the monsters he made them out to be. "I can't say that I am happy to hear you have hacked into my school account but..." She let out a smaller, softer sigh. "I guess at least you haven't completely screwed up my grades."

At seeing Vincent offer a hand to assist her down the rest of the stairs, Charlotte gave him a bit of an odd look before laying her hand in his, accepting the help. It was an odd move, but, she supposed, nice as well. Her hand slid out of his once she was on the ground floor. Though she stopped for a moment, her head tilting to the side and her eyebrows furrowing in confusion at something that Vincent had said. "Mate? What do you mean by that?" Her nose scrunched up a little as well. She also didn't like how he, apparently, refused to allow her to be alone if she was in danger. While it was better than being purposely fed to the wolves (perhaps quite literally), she didn't like his action of forcing his help on her either. "And you say that but what if I don't want your help? If I said I didn't, shouldn't you leave me be?"

Charlotte continued to follow him around the house, glancing into the kitchen, despite having already seen it before doing the same with the living room. The house looked pretty normal until she stepped into the arcade theater room. Which was, Charlotte had to admit, quite nice. What was even nicer was the indoor pool. Her eyes lit up and the corner of her mouth lifted up into an almost smile for just a moment at the thought of swimming. At least Vincent had no desire to deprive her of all happiness while she was stuck here. "I suppose I could be stuck in worse houses," Charlotte told Vincent as she turned back to him, offering up the best compliment she was willing to give to him at the moment. "Wow, and somehow I think you should have been able to get that information when you hacked into my school schedule. I am going in to become a graphic designer."

His lips pursed together as Vincent allowed for Charlotte's words to sink in. How much was he ready to disclose to her? Was he ready to explain to her why he couldn't just let her be? Probably not, but he really didn't want to leave her hanging, It was always best to keep honesty at the front of one's mind when dealing with a mate.

"I might have hacked into your records, but I rather hear from you what you want instead of looking online," Vince said as he slowly walked into the entertainment room and sat down on the comfy couch that was in there. Leaning back, Vince allowed a small sigh to escape past his lips as he stretched his arms out along the back as well. "As for the mate comment, you understand wolf behavior at all? Or at least seen any of the shit that's online about them?" Vince asked, wanting to know what Charlotte knew about the animal first before just dumping things on her.

Slowly, Vince ran his tongue along his lips. Stalling for another small moment. "My wolf is drawn to you, it's claimed you," Vince said as he eyes the young human woman. "We don't get to choose your mates, Charlotte. It just sort of happens, a string forms, my wolf likes you, a lot. It won't allow me to leave you alone. It was why I was so rude to you at first. You smelled of other wolves and it pissed my wolf off." A small chuckle escaped from Vince. "When you're out of my sight, my wolf freaks out, it goes crazy inside of me until I can catch your scent, or see you for myself. You're like a drug for me that I can't get enough of."

As she followed him into the entertainment room, Charlotte slowly walked around. She glanced back at Vincent sitting on the couch for a moment before going through the room and looking at everything that was in there. It felt a little weird to be going through other's people stuff so much, but if she was going to live there, Charlotte wanted to know what was there and what her options were. Besides, it wasn't like she was getting the chance to bring anything so she really would just be using the items that were in the house. "I can't say that I am familiar with werewolves, at all, Vincent. Especially considering the fact that this morning, I thought werewolves were just mythical beings."

Charlotte shook her head a bit. "But I suppose I could be high or dead right now so who knows if this is all real anyways." She mumbled to herself. Reaching out, she picked up one of the games from the bookshelf. Her eyes shifted over it before she turned back to Vincent, still holding onto the game in her hands. Her head lifted up, looking him in the eyes as she waited for the man to explain what he meant. She could tell that he was acting a bit strangely, which only made her more curious about what he was going to say. What he ended up saying though caused her heart and chest to freeze up. "Oh... um."

Her eyes grew wide, staring at Vincent intensely as her cheeks started to grow warm and pink. Now that was not what she had been expecting. "So... You're like in love with me." She responded. "And you've kidnapped me like some creepy obsessed stalker." Charlotte held onto the board game tighter, now hugging it into her chest. "Which is just really great because I thought that this all couldn't get weirder but it definitely has." Charlotte reached up, tucking some of her hair behind her ear, clearly getting nervous. "Um, so, not sure if you know this but humans don't really have mates or like claim people. So I don't feel the same way.-You know that's not really my fault. Just a human thing.- So...um...so in that case, you know just wondering, when you, you know, won't love me anymore and find a new mate?"

As Charlotte spoke, Vincent couldn't really hide his smirk. So, instead, he just raised his right hand and rubbed his mouth with his right hand. Doing his best to not just outright laugh at the naive thinking of Charlotte. Not understanding what he was getting at with the wolf comment. When a wolf picks a mate, it's for life. If she dies, he'll die. She was his heart now. His everything.

A small chuckle finally escaped from Vincent as he couldn't hold it in anymore. He lowered his hand and leaned forward on his knees. His hand moving to brush some hair behind his ears as he slowly shook his head. "No, I'm not in love with you Charlotte," Vince said calmly, doing his best to offer a small smile to calm the weird feeling that was in the air. "I don't know you, but in the future, I probably will. Once I actually get to know you. That is."

Slowly standing up, Vince couldn't help the sigh that escaped from him. "I can't stop my wolf's feelings for you Charlotte," Vince said quietly as he walked towards her slowly. Reaching out, he lifted the board game slowly to look at what she grabbed. "If you ever leave, my wolf will make me chase you to the end of the world. If you get hurt, I'll go berserk. Nothing back will happen because I'm not going to let you out of my sight." Vince released the game and looked up towards Charlottes two different colored eyes. "One way or another, we'll fall for each other Charlotte. It's just a matter of time." It was said so casually because it was the truth that Vince lived by, but for Charlotte. He probably seemed out of his mind, but didn't she already think that?

Silence befell the woman as Vincent tried his best to explain what it really meant. She was a little confused when he said that he wasn't in love with her, thinking over what he had just said before that. Though, when he continued on to say that he probably would love her in the future, it just made her all the more confused. Vincent had some kind of attachment to her, or rather his wolf specifically did. So he was bound to her, in some way.

As Vincent stood up and made his way over to her, Charlotte held onto her breath. Her fingers pressed into the board game tighter. So when Vincent took it out of her hands, Charlotte let out a small little gasp of surprise before stepping back. Once he continued on explaining, her eyes started to flutter, unsure of what to do with this new found information. "You almost sound like some honor bound knight, Vincent." She whispered to him. Her head tilted away, looking out of the window as she found it a bit too awkward to look at Vincent now.

"And you mean you will fall in love with me in a matter of time. I am not a wolf, Vincent. Which means I don't fall under these wolf instincts." Charlotte's arms moved in front of her chest. "What will you do when I don't? Your wolf will continue to have this attachment to me but I won't feel the same." Charlotte hesitated for a moment before continuing on. "What are you planning? Just keeping me locked up in here forever with you? Not let me live my own life? Not let me actually go out and date?"
