“It was someone named Yongguk? I guess he wants to be Soyeon’s alpha, but she knows he just wants the title so he can abuse the power. He hit her, so I got pissed. He questioned me if I was her mate and I said I was.” Seonghwa said, giving him the rundown.
Yeosang types his name into the database and pulled up quite a few files on Yongguk. But then he spit out his drink when he heard the last part. "You did what!"
"He's the Alpha's right hand man, which makes sense he claims to be her mate. But he has a record on him. He has a quite a few domestic violence charged "
"Maybe it's better you than that asshole. Besides they might like you more since you'll be the alpha of our clan but also the alpha of their clan too." He chuckled. "When do you think you're going to see her again?"
Soyeon went to Jay's apartment after she cleaned her wound when Yongguk slapped her, scratching her face. She banged on his door repeatedly until he opened it. "You fucking jinxed me, Jay. Ugh. That Seonghwa dude from the Park clan is my mate."
“I don’t know. Hopefully soon.” Seonghwa said. “I was hoping me standing up to Yongguk and them would show her I am not a bad guy.” He admitted.“I’m sorry?” Jay asked as he looked at her. “He seems like a nice guy.” He shrugged as he stepped aside.
"I'm sure she will. I mean compared to what she did to you the other night and how things went today, I think she'll open up sooner or later." Yeosang reassured him. "But now you'll have to let down all of the she wolves back home." He chuckled, teasing his friend, knowing the bitches at home won't be happy.
Soyeon stopped in mid step before looking at Jay. "You talked to him didn't you?!" She let out a low growl. "What the hell Jay?"
Seonghwa rolled his eyes. “They’ll get over it. I’m not interested in them anyway.” He said and sighed. “Anyway, thanks for finding out that stuff about Yongguk.”“He showed up here and told me he was your mate.” Jay shrugged. “There was nothing wrong with that, Soyeon.”
Yeosang chuckled. "No problem. But good luck man, you have a plate full to deal with" he teased.
"And you believed him by him saying that?" She sighed and went to his fridge to grab the bottle of Tequila he always have for her and poured herself a glass of it, drinking it straight. She felt the burn, but ignored it. "Well a lot can and did go wrong. He made the situation with Yongguk worse for me by him admitting he's my mate."
