Face Dry, Eyes Clear: (I can't remember if it's posted.) It's based off of an incident in which my best friend refused to talk to me, look at me, or even acknowledge my presence and wouldn't tell me why. The only part of it which isn't true is the phone call and the conversation at the end.

Accidental: Most of the things the writer apologizes for are habits of mine that bother people.

Waiting: The main character's sisters are named after mine. Her hair salon is based off of the one I want to own when I grow up. Melanie is actually my cheerleading captain.

The italics in Lights Will Guide You Home are conversations, not flashbacks. I didn't use quotation marks to separate because it seemed to show Ryan's thought process better. The first conversation was between Brendon and Spencer. The second two were between Spencer and Ryan. The last one is obvious.

It Just Looks Like Red Paint is non-fiction.

In Billie Jo, there was no dramatic point in her life that made her a girl. She just is. People kept telling me to molest her or have her overhear her grandmother saying she wanted a granddaughter. Billie Jo is just a girl. Plain and simple.
    THANK YOU.
Not everything is caused by trauma, and some people would do with learning to accept that.

All my backstory is for stuff I haven't gotten written down yet. >< But anyway.
Every room in Andre's house is white, because his wife likes it that way, and she nearly always gets what she wants. He wanted at least one room to be orange, he likes bright colors. But in return, he got to have most of the "basement" as his workshop.

Headlights was supposed to end like this:

    "Hey Frank?"

    "Y-yeah?"

"I love you," I said, giving him one last long look, trying to preserve the contours of his gorgeous face

In my story "Qui ete Moi?" my character was a bitch before she lost her memory. She had her airhead of a boyfriend play pranks on lots of loner kids. They were horribly mean. One of the pranks she put a girls diary all over school and the girl was deppressed so every one picked on her for having suicidal thoughts. In the end the girl killed herself. Secretly inside Adele felt obbsessively guilty but her friends thought it was hilarious. There are more backstories but that would ruin the story. :D

In Words Like Snakes, the younger brother's name is Jeremy. Contrary to popular belief, it wasn't actually inspired by Waycest.

More from Words Like Snakes, because it's the only story I have a lot of backstory for.

-The older brother has no name. I never came up with one for him.
    -Originally, the story contained talking
-I never actually wrote it out, in a draft or in the final copy, but the older, nameless brother finds Jeremy sickeningly sexually attractive.

In my MCR fic, No Man's Land, Jackie Flores (see icon) is a somewhat androgynous character with a rather ambiguous sexual identity. Growing up, he was always confused about who he should like, and who he actually did like, in terms of gender. When he was only twelve he explained his feelings about this to his father. In response, the older man shrugged and told him, “Well, that’s all fine and good, I just don’t want to see you with a boyfriend and a girlfriend at the same time – that’s just greedy.”

A few weeks later, when his father happened to be out of town, Jackie told his mother about these conflicting feelings. Already exasperated about her child’s abnormalities when it came to certain behavioral tendencies, she told him to get out. Jackie took refuge at the home of Evan Wise (future guitarist for the band No Man’s Land) until his father came back in town, and found out what happened. This was just one of many ‘final’ straws in their marriage and, infuriated, Jackie’s father filed for divorce within the week. It didn't matter; Jackie's mother had decided to leave them some months beforehand, though she wasn't presented with a suitable opportunity until all of this occured. She was already gone by the time Jackie's father filed for divorce.

Kristen and I have way too much time on our hands and we've created our own sort of backstory for our characters. For instance, Patrick has only had sex with one person other than Pete. The guy he lost his virginity to: Jefferson. Jefferson was, like, a cute nerd in high school but now he's a fat greasy guy who works at McDonalds. Pete lost his virginity when he was drunk to some girl with buckteeth and lopsided ears.

    God, mine's retarded.

Steve's dad was a drunk. Too many kids in the family. Just not enough to go around. So at age 11, Steve left home to seek his fortune. His fortune turned out to be being a street urchin, stealing food, that kind of thing. He blew some money hookers and then swore off women. Anyway, some of his friends got caught, thrown in jail. Steve broke into the jail, and almost got away with it, but a guard came around. So he talked his way out of it, earned an audience with the king, and got a job in the palace.

In Colour Me Blue Gerard was never actually in love with Frank.
Also, Kelsey's appearance was somewhat based off of supermodel KarenElson White.

In The World Set On Fire, German Boy looks like Sebastian Jessen (during the movie Miracle) when he's younger and Alex Pettyfer when he's older - just with different color hair.

It's scary how my imagination came up with those looks.

    In Picardy Third, Jordan was never supposed to use possesives when he speaks {"I," "Me," "My," "You," "Your," "You're," et cetera.}
I almost succeeded in doing this except for one sentence where I had to use "I" to get the full effect of Jordan's personality.
