Mia sat with her sister and their boyfriends, along with their mutual friends. They were watching them play the PS4.

“Ha! I got your ass!” Yeonjun smirked as he killed Beomgyu’s character in the game of Call of Duty that they were playing.

“Here, Tae, your turn, I gotta take a wiz.” Yeonjun smirked as he handed the controller to Tae.

He looked at Mia and Alice as he stood up, “you two feeling okay? You’ve been quiet since you got here.” He said.

“Tummy hurts. I think Alice and I are about to you know..” Mia tried to explain without saying the word.

“Oh, TMI, Mia.” Yeonjun whined as he left to go to the bathroom. Normally, this would have made Mia laugh, but she felt too sick to even do that.

“I wish you wouldn’t say whizz!” Alice complained with a pout, her stomach still feeling queasy. “And why is it you can talk about peeing but we can’t talk about our bodies?” She laughed, although she shrunk down into Kai’s hoodie once more, exhaling.

Beomgyu handed his controller to Soobin wordlessly, kneeling in front of Mia. “Hey,” he murmured softly, pressing his forehead to hers and pressing a sweet kiss to her cheek. “If you want, you and I can go back to mine, watch a movie instead?”

Mia nodded. “I would like that,” she said and looked at Alice, “I’m going to head back to Gyu’s okay?” She told her sister before giving her a hug.

“Bye guys.” She waved as Beomgyu took her hand and led her out of Soobin’s room.

Kai looked at Alice. “We can leave too, babe.” He said as he sat his controller down and moved to sit beside his girlfriend.

Beomgyu offered a wave to his friends, smiling down at Mia as the left Soobin’s house, the fresh air a welcome change. “Are you sure you’re okay?” Beomgyu asked, taking their time alone as another opportunity to ask her. Lacing his fingers with Mia’s, Beomgyu gently pulled her closer.

Alice nodded. “That… actually might be best.” She confirmed quietly, head still spinning. “But we’ll see you guys another time, okay?” She promised Taehyun and Soobin. “Tell Yeonjun we say bye when he gets back from his whizz.” She pulled a face then.

“I don’t know. My stomach has been hurting and I feel sick.” Mia said as they walked. They didn’t make it far though before Mia ran over to some bushes as she puked.

Kai left with Alice, lacing their hands together as they walked. “Are you sure you’re okay? I can have my sister take us to the hospital if you aren’t.” He said, concerned for his girlfriend.

Beomgyu frowned, quickly following Mia to gently hold her hair back with one hand, his free hand rubbing gentle circles into her back. “Do you think you need the hospital?” He asked calmly, although panicking on the inside, not wanting to see Mia like this. “I feel bad, baby… I think you should see someone.”

Alice walked slowly beside Kai, her eyes widening at the mention of a hospital. “Nope, nuh uh. You know I hate hospitals, Kai…” Alice looked to her boyfriend like a kicked puppy. “Besides, it could just be like, food poisoning.” She pointed out, reluctantly letting go of his hand.

“No, no. No hospitals. I might have just gotten food poisoning.” Mia said as she wiped her mouth and then stood up, so they could finish walking to Beomgyu’s house.

Kai frowned. “I know baby, but you don’t look too good. Maybe it is food poisoning, you did say your dad cooked something new the other night, right?” He said.

Beomgyu frowned, shrugging off his hoodie to offer to Mia, gently placing it over her shoulders. “Come on, we can lay down and cuddle.” He murmured, kissing the side of her head. “You need water, at least. But if it gets worst, you’re going to see someone.” Beomgyu warned.

Alice nodded. “Mhm, so try not to worry too much sweetheart, please?” She peered up at the tall boy then. “I’ll be okay once I can sit down and relax with you.”

Mia nodded. “Okay, deal.” She said as she put Beomgyu’s hoodie on and continued walking with him, once they got to his house, she went in and went to his room while we boyfriend got her some water.

“Okay, when we get my house, I’ll get you some water but if you start feeling worse, I think we should at least go to one of the doctors.” Kai said as he leaned down to kiss her temple.

“Put a movie on!” Beomgyu called as he sorted things in the kitchen, a painkiller and bottle of water already in his hands. He hated seeing Mia sick, it caused him to worry endlessly. Carefully stepping up the stairs, Beomgyu nudged open the bedroom door. “I got you a painkiller too, love. Move over.”

Alice nodded. “Okay, fair.” Alice smiled with the sensation of Kai’s kiss; and allowing him to unlock the front door; she went ahead, shrugging off the hoodie she had been borrowed. Climbing into Kai’s bed, Alice exhaled.

Mia put on Netflix and put on a drama they had been watching. She scooted over whenever Beomgyu came back. “Thank you, oppa.” She said as she took the pain medicine and drank some water before laying back down.

“You go ahead and put on a movie, I’ll go get you some water and pain meds.” Kai said as he kissed her cheek before going downstairs to grab her some water and painkillers.

“I love you,” Beomgyu smiled down at Mia then, climbing into the bed and scooting over so he and Mia were cuddled close together, because she made him the happiest, and he wanted to protect her from anything. “This show’s getting good.”

Alice tied up her hair before setting up a film to watch, her back against the headboard of the bed as she waited patiently for Kai. Scrolling through her phone, Alice pulled the blanket over herself.

“I love you too.” Mia said as she leaned up to kiss his cheek. She cuddled against him, nodding whenever he mentioned how good the show was getting. “It is. I hope the two people end up as a couple and not the other way around.”

“I got you some aspirin and water.” Kai said as he came back and handed her the water and the aspirin. He laid down behind her as he pressed play on the movie and once she was done taking the medicine, he held his arms out for her to cuddle against him.

Beomgyu laughed. “Yah, Mia! Don’t curse it!” He pouted a little then. “I cried last time there was a break up in that other drama, remember? I don’t want to cry again.” Smiling, he pressed a kiss to the top of Mia’s head, content to be cuddled so close. “How are you feeling now?”

Alice smiled softly. “Thank you, oppa.” Accepting the medicine, Alice was quick to take it, taking a gulp of water before tightening the lid and placing the bottle on the bedside table. Seeing Kai’s arms open, Alice smiled, moving close to snuggle her boyfriend. “Hi.” She murmured.

Mia giggled some. “A little better, I hope if I fall asleep and take a nap, I’ll feel much better after.” She yawned some as she laced their hands together whenever he dropped a hand over her stomach.

Kai smiled. “Hi baby. I hope that helps you feel better.” He said and kissed her forehead. “I love you, and I hate seeing you sick.” He sighed softly.

Beomgyu squeezed Mia’s hand gently, the feeling of her fingers laced with his bringing him a happiness he couldn’t explain. “Sleep, if you need to. I’m here to protect you, remember?” Beomgyu teased, reaching to press a kiss to Mia’s warm cheek. “I love you.”

Alice smiled softly with Kai’s concern. “I’ll be okay.” She promised quietly, laying her arm over Kai’s stomach, her head resting on his shoulder. “I love you too, my baby… although that medicine has made me feel a little sleepy…”

Mia smiled. “Maybe I will. I love you too.” She said and leaned up to kiss him before turning over and closing her eyes. It didn’t take long before she fell asleep.

Kai smiled. “Take a nap, baby. I’ll be here when you wake up.” He said and kissed her cheek softly. “I love you, okay?” He smiled.

Beomgyu kept close to Mia, still keeping hold of her hand, even as she slept.

Alice woke up a few hours later, still entangled with Kai, who was asleep beneath her.

Mia woke up sometime later, to a sleeping boyfriend. She untangled herself as she got out of bed to go use the bathroom.

Kai woke up suddenly whenever he felt Alice moving. “Alice, are you awake baby?” He asked, seeing how dark it had gotten in his room.
