Beomgyu’s eyes widened with the thought of pregnancy, but he couldn’t lie about the fact of being a father exciting him a little bit. Waiting for Mia nervously, Beomgyu chewed the nail on his thumb. “Will the results be instant?”

Alice shifted nervously. “Uh, well, nausea, dizziness, vomiting, not wanting to eat…” she listed off, accepting the cup from the nurse and bowing, going to do the sample as the word pregnancy rolled around in her mind.

“Yes, we will be able to test it now and the doctor will give you the results when she comes in.” The nurse said as Mia came back a moment later.

“I’ll let the doctor know you’re here and she will be in soon.” The nurse bowed before leaving the two of them.

Kai chewed on his lip. “Will the results be told to us today?” He asked the nurse as he waited for Alice to come back.

Beomgyu looked to Mia, smiling softly as he took her hand. “Imagine if you were pregnant.” He whispered, half excited and half nervous, but still wanting to be there for Mia. Gently running his thumb over the back of her hand, Beomgyu shifted closer as the Doctor came in.

Alice came in a moment later, and sitting back next to Kai, Alice listened to the nurse explain that the Doctor would do a quick test and return for the results.

Mia nodded. “That would be nice but I would be so scared, we are only 17.” She said softly as the doctor came in. “Annyeong.” She said and bowed. Mia bowed and held onto Beomgyu’s hand.

“What if you are pregnant?” Kai asked her as he held her hand and rubbed his thumb over her knuckles while they waited.

Beomgyu bowed to the Doctor and listened as the woman spoke, congratulating them on the fact that they were expecting a baby together. Squeezing Mia’s hand, Beomgyu felt his nerves explode within his stomach and he exhaled. “Oh, wow.” He murmured, looking to Mia.

Alice looked to Kai. “I don’t know.” She whispered. “Kai, we’re still so young… I just… don’t know.”

“I-I’m really…pregnant?” Mia asked, cupping her mouth with her free hand. The doctor nodded, “yes, you are.” She explained. “Now, you two look very young, so, I’m going to give you some suggestions and it’s up to you whether you want to take them or not.”

The doctor began speaking, letting Alice and Kai know that Alice was in fact pregnant. “You are in fact pregnant, according to your urine analysis.”

Beomgyu listened closely and nodded, but looked to Mia. “What do you want to do, sweetheart?” He asked, although he could admit that despite his nerves, there was a small bit of excitement he was sure would grow. “No pressure.”

Alice blinked in surprise as she heard the confirmation that she was pregnant, and she looked at Kai, before looking to the Doctor again as she explained the avenues they could go down - including termination. “Can I speak to my boyfriend alone?”

“Can I speak to my boyfriend alone, please?” Mia asked after the doctor explained all their options. She nodded and left the room. “What do you think we should do?”

“Of course.” The doctor said before bowing and leaving the room. Kai looked at Alice. “What’s on your mind, baby?”

Beomgyu sighed, running a hand through his hair, but moved to kneel in front of Mia. “It’s your body. And I’m not going to tell you what to do. But the thought of being a Dad kind of excites me, Mia. And you’d make an amazing Mom, and the thought of a mini us running around is cute,” he smiled then. “But I’m with you one hundred percent, no matter what you want to do.”

Alice looked to Kai, tears in her eyes. “I don’t know - I don’t know what to do, or what to think, Kai. We're having a baby.” She whispered. “What do you think we should do?”

Mia nodded as some tears fell down. “It is exciting but I’m so scared…but I don’t think I could…kill it…I would feel awful..” she sniffled as she took a tissue to wipe her face off.

Kai looked at her. “I will be by your side no matter what you decide to do. I’m excited to be a father, and you would make an amazing mother, but yes, we are young, and it’s your body and I can’t tell you what to do with it…but I will support you either way, no matter what you choose.”

“Hey, hey,” Beomgyu gently took the tissue, gently wiping Mia’s tears. “We can figure this out as we go. We have nine months to make it right, and I can’t wait to be a Dad.” He laughed then. “Baby Choi is so lucky to have you as a Mom. So why don’t we go home and get comfortable? We can start planning ahead.”

Alice sniffled and nodded, wiping at her eyes with her sleeves. “God, Kai, I’m so scared.” She whimpered. “What if everything goes wrong?”

Mia nodded. “Okay.” She whispered and looked up as the nurse came in. “The doctor prescribed you some prenatals and set you up with an OBGYN, you just need to call Monday and make your first appointment.”

“Don’t cry baby, we have nine months to decide, okay? Let’s just, head home and we can plan everything out after we rest.” Kai said softly.

Beomgyu bowed in thanks and nodded. “Thank you so much. Mia needs to rest, so I need to get her home.” He accepted the bag of prenatal medicine. “Thank you for your care.” Taking Mia’s hand, Beomgyu kissed her palm. “Come on, you.”

Alice listened to Kai and nodded, knowing he was the only one that would make her see sense. Accepting her prenatals from the nurse, she explained that they would be keeping the baby and heading home. “Thank you,” Alice smiled.

Mia thanked them again before taking Beomgyu’s hand and following him out and to the bus stop so they could take the bus home.

“Thank you.” Kai said and took the bag from Alice before taking her hand and leading her out and towards his car.

Beomgyu smiled, feeling far more protective of Mia than he was certain he ever had. “You know,” Beomgyu murmured. “This is all really exciting, isn’t it?” And when the us arrived, he allowed Mia on first. “Terrifying, but exciting.”

Alice got into the passenger seat and exhaled. “God, who would of thought?”

“It is but I think we will be good parents…I’m just afraid how my own parents will react.” Mia sighed before pulling her phone out. “And Alice..” she sighed as she opened a message. I need to tell you something.. she sent to her sister.

“I sure didn’t but this is exciting and terrifying all at the same time.” Kai said as he got in and out his seatbelt on before making sure Alice was safely strapped in before starting the car up.

Beomgyu smiled softly. “My mom has wanted grandkids since I turned sixteen, so if your parents react badly, you know you always have a home with me.” He promised, wrapping an arm around Mia protectively.

Alice smiled softly with Kai’s words, looking at her phone as Mia text. Mimi, what’s up? Are you okay? I have something to tell you too! But watching Kai drive, Alice smiled softly. “You. A dad.”

Mia nodded. “I know, babe.” She said and leaned her head on his shoulder. She sat up a moment later whenever her phone went off, I’m….Beomgyu and I are going to be parents.. she sent to her sister.

Kai smiled. “I know, can you imagine it?” He chuckled softly as he drove them back to his house. “I guess we should tell the guys and Mia.” He said.

Beomgyu rubbed Mia’s back, reading her texts over her shoulder with a smile, burying his face into her hair. “Oh god, Kai is going to be the chaotic Uncle.” Beomgyu pulled a face then, already imagining their future so easily. “I can’t wait to see you with a bump.”

Alice blinked in surprise as she read her sister’s text. “Kai…” she murmured. “Oh my god, Kai!” She squealed happily, overjoyed to have her sister go through this with her. “Mia’s pregnant too!” Texting Mia quickly, Alice smiled. NO WAY!!! BECAUSE GUESS WHAT? I’M PREGNANT TOO! Omg Mia I’m so happy for you and Beomgyu!!! Our babies are going to be best friends!

Mia smiled and looked at her message before sitting up. “Oh my god!” She said. “Alice is pregnant too!” She said and showed Beomgyu the text message.

Kai gasped. “No way?!” He said as he pulled up in his driveway so Alice could show him. “Oh wow! You and Mia pregnant at the same time!”
