How Long Have You Been Writing?

Since I was 12 >.<
My first story sucked so badly D:

Since I was like, five or six, so...*counts on fingers* eight or nine years.

I vaguely recall writing a story about cowgirls in first grade.
So that's when I started writing stories :)

I honestly can't remember when I started writing just to write. I remember getting into reports in lower elementary and writing journals (they were required until I was in the sixth grade). The first actual story I wrote completely of my own volition and for fun in the fourth grade. It was terrible, but we all start off that way. I guess writing has just always been an integral part of my life, in one way or another!

I remember writing a weird story about a family that all dies with their own tragic reason, I wrote it when I was in 3rd grade on the back of my notebook. I still remember how the story goes, because I still have it. To remind me that this was where it all started, but it was seriously terrible and when my Parents found my story they almost sent me to therapy because the story had drug use, murder, incest, and suicide in it, the things that 8 year olds should not be thinking, should not even know about!

But the story just popped up in my mind, heck back then I didn't even now I knew those things

I wrote my first long story in fourth grade (it had ten chapters! I'm lucky if I can make it that far now.... xD).. that was almost 10 years ago. I wrote shorter stories before that, though, probably since first grade or so, when we first learned how to write complete sentences.

I started writing when I was seven years old, and I must say rereading my old stories I have improved greatly. Though I started taking my writing seriously when I was thirteen. :3

I started writing my ideas and plots on papers since I was 10. Then, when I was 12, I started writing a mini-series. When I was 13, I started writing full-length stories but in the form of drama script. Then, I started writing seriously when I was 15, after I found Mibba.

I've been writing since I was in sixth grade. I found my notebook a month ago while throwing away an old bookshelf. Inspired in Spy Kids (Reading it now, it was so bad I'm ashamed). Then I started writing songs and I'm writing fan fiction now (Check my story!)

I actually hated writing until about 5th grade for some reason XD And now I love it. I guess I, like many others, started in 6th grade (offically). My first fanfics were Naruto ones.....gods they're bad XD
But this August will be my....6th year writing? Something like that...

I've been writing since I was around 11 or 12. Thankfully my writing has improved since then XD

First ever posted story was a MCR fanfic called Not a Fairytale. It's here but don't read it, the writing is awful haha. And it's the second to last story I wrote with an actual hetero pairing o.o. Now I only write slash. Not ashamed of it =D

I wrote my first story, which was a fan-fiction about Nick Carter, when I was nine or ten.
I still have it, retyped, unedited. I love it to bits.

Ohgosh. My first posted fanfic to the interwebz was a Nick Carter fic. I don't have it and it was god awful.

15 years now. I feel like I should mak emyself a cake.

That would make what... ten, twelve years since I started writing. Man, I'm still the same obsessed girl I once was. Oh well.

I began writing poetry at 11, wrote my first short story at 12, and I'm 18 turning 19 now :3

About 1.5 - 2 years

I wrote a creative writting story for english and I enjoyed it very much.

So I am a little baby compared to the lot of you, so I have much to learn about using creative and descriptive writing. But I will get better over time.

Hmm... Since 7th grade... And Summer of 2009 when I was addicted to read. It's only been two years now but I'm glad I actually got into it.

Probably since about the fifth grade? It has been on and off for years though. I take dry spells and then sometimes the flood gates will open with sorts of ideas.

Coming up on 16 years now.

I wrote this story when I was about 7, and it was this haunted house, and a woman died, and, although the story itself was badly written, I liked the idea. I never finished it, and I lost it when our old computer got a virus.

So I've been writing for 8 years. My first fanfic was an MCR one, back in 2007, and it was a horribly written Frerard. I've written something every year since I was 7, I'm doing well.
